    This is hands down, one of the most entertaining podcasts right now. I'm loving JBL's stories, (and his McMahon impersonation is hysterical by the way). I'm making dinner while I listen to this and laughing my t*** off. Guy deserves his own podcast.

      LMAO He has one "Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw" alongside Gerald Briscoe where it's not a structured but they just have hilarious conversations with guys from the business and tell hilarious stories. Did you know John Wayne Bobbitt was the DUMBEST human being that Val Venis has ever met in his entire life? th-cam.com/video/0LqLQ4s9ICY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZPyHglS3ladm38Gv

    The belt (cummerbund) represents the title (World Heavyweight, WWE, Intercontinental, United States). You cannot hold the 'title', you can acquire the belt which means you are the current holder of the title. The only words that can be used for this are belt or championship. The title is a rank, the belt is the representation of that rank.

After listening to these podcasts i have a new found respect for JBL the man. Simply incredible. And Conrad? You should be proud, this is great work!!

    • @RobwLPOC
      @RobwLPOC 27 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Most of it isn't even bullying as most people 40 and over would consider it all. Most of it was Just good old fashioned ballbusting which is sadly a foreign concept to many people these days.
      Check out Clint Eastwood's character Walt when he visits his Barber in the movie Gran Torino and you'll know what I mean. Yeah they're saying some just Savage s*** to each other but it's actually a compliment or a sign of friendship and respect. It is not intended actually as a legitimate insult it's the same idea as holding a roast for your buddy. If you are clueless to roasting and ballbusting and you do not realize the context the person is actually meaning it, you're just going to hear that horrible s*** and think the guy hates you.
      Plus you look at all the stuff he has done with the rugby helping gang kids in Bermuda including climbing mountains to raise funds. He seems to be a very nice big-hearted kind guy for somebody who is such a bully and an a******🙄
      The dumbest one was some former commentator wrote a book where he said JBL was bullying The Miz and Morrison after a match because they didn't celebrate with the belts hard enough...
      The two of them won a hard-fought match to win the Tag Team Championships for the first time and rather than grab the belts, hold the belts up high and celebrate their win and the fact they were now champions, they just casually were handed the belts and walked out of the ring.🤔
      JBL rightfully gave them severe s*** for doing as soon as they came back through the curtains that because they basically took a giant dump on the world tag team belts and made them look worthless. Why should the fans care about the World Tag Team Championships if the guys who just became champions don't care about winning them?
      You don't have to be a pro wrestler to realize that makes all the sense in the world that he would be giving them s*** for that.

    Belt and Championship isn't an insider term it is used literally everywhere aside from WWE. "A belt is what holds up your pants", yeah and a title is a paper showing you own a car. What's your point? Trying to hinder the use of universally used and long standing terms so that you can appease some old man's OCD is just insane and screams out of touch... I mean it "worked" so well that the vast majority of fans hated it, the writers acknowledged it on the show, and the current owners threw it out. WWE wasn't a big enough entity outside of the wrestling bubble by that point to try and gaslight fans into saying these super mainstream words and terms that predate WWE itself was a super dumb idea.

He's been DOGGING Vince over the past year due to allegations by his gold digging, kinky lover - buuuut now is giving him his props. If you actually had respect for what Vince has done for wrestling, you would also give him the benefit of the doubt in these allegations (hell, most of the allegations are called "kinks" in non-vanilla lifestyles..). I don't dislike Michael Cole because he was a heel or because he's untalented as a play by play guy, I dislike Michael Cole because he isn't a great announcer. I was in my 20's and had been following wrestling since I was 3, so when Cole did his heel gimmick so I wasn't a child who didn't get it. It's not JR nostalgia either. I didn't have JR above Monsoon or Tony Schiavone like everyone else does either. Michael Cole just isn't anything special. It's not that he is unqualified or that he can't do the gig itself as well as JR or Gorilla could, it's just because there's nothing special about him. He's the commentary version of John Cena. He's the ampitimy of modern day revisionist history and not genuine organic credibility.

    So basically it's a Vince love story. JBL is and always has been a Vince guy. Wasn't expecting him to bash him but atleast thought he'd take his bias hat off and express his real opinions not defend everything

    JBL could pass as Vince McMahon's brother. They very much look alike.

    I wish they had a video of him and Steve Blackman at the airport I’d actually love to see Blackman return for the Hardcore championship
