This is so helpful since my mom got a new laptop and she has an old Acer that is very slow. I've also really been wanting a tablet for quite a while and I am really happy I can do this.

I created a 20GB partition on my Windows laptop, in order to get Android to dual boot.
For some reason, when installing Android, the partition wasn’t recognized. I am sure I was missing something. I was wondering if you had a chance to make a video on this subject. Thank you so much for your tutorials.

A dual boot would be great. Can I save the android program to an external drive on my windows pc. That way, I can use the external drive as a bootable drive on my desktop or laptop. Thanks

Is there a way to keep the screen on when doing this on an old laptop? I tried this on an old mini desktop but it wouldn't load either 32 or 64 bit Android so decided to pick an old laptop, runs great but want to set it up to my main living room.

Any chance on doing a version of this on how to manually partition the drive for a proper setup? I have a laptop with an integrated hard drive that just doesn't seem to install properly in the auto function.
I managed to get it installed, but I can't get magisk to get root properly or the file manager app(s) to give read/write privelages or turn on WiFi. I have been using USB tethering to work around it. I don't know how to install the needed drivers to function properly. Any ideas?

I was able to save the android program to an external hard drive. I had both the thumb drive and external drive connected. When it asked to identify which drive to install to I selected the external harddrive. It worked. I have my start up boot set to usb auto, so when I want to boot to android, I just have the drive connect to the usb, when I want windows to start, I just disconnect the usb.
Nice!!! I started experimenting myself.. I was able to get it going with a partitioned drive, but I had to use the USB to boot into Android.
@@Triple_M if you set up your computer boot sequence to start with usb, then hard drive, your set. I stores the files on the thumb drive and connected an external drive to the usb connector. Go through the same install and select the external drive for the I stall location. Then your set. When you want to run the original windows that is internal, just disconnect the external usb and wola the windows will start up. When you want android just connect the usb external drive that you have the install android and it will see the usb before the internal hard drive and android will start.

@@Triple_M then the dual boot is the better version. I like the external usb drive, then I can insert the usb into any computer and take it with me wherever I go. I had a old 20gig harddrive that I placed into a case, and I'm using it that way. I would be believe you could use a thumb drive for a smaller footprint. Fits inside your pocket and you can take it with you wherever you go. No need for a seperate laptop just for the program. Just a thought.

Need HELP. I was trying to install Ax86 for one of the kids on an old 2006 Dell Inspiron 6400 (service tag: 3DRMRC1). I've tried it both ways, dual boot and auto full HD. Both ways starts the Android logo screen but don't go any further. It freezes there. This architecture is 32 bit only and doesn't support virtualization, which I'm thinking is the problem. Anyone have thoughts, suggestions, comments?

And a simple monitor
Well, you can install chromeOS flex on it. It'll definitely work but its downside is that it doesn't support android apps yet. So only install chromeOS flex if you just want your computer for browsing, watching content, youtube, netflix, saving documents etc.
