Funny story: A couple years ago Allison and Frank dropped in to CrossFit Iowa City with some friends and maybe a sibling? Aside from being super nice, very easy to talk to, and obviously amazing athletes, they were forgetful. Frank left his yellow wrist bands at the gym. If he wants them back they have to come back and do another wod with us!! I’ll even wash the wrist bands.
Score itself is remarkable. Execution is like swiss clockwork and you can see his determination all over. Got me goosebumps. Thanks for this inspiration and in general your high quality stuff here.
I never understood less calories for Rx. Let’s say I am an above average athlete that would typically Rx a wod. If I am going against Tia head to head, would I do 15 and she do 12?
It’s not an Rx vs scaled conversion, it’s a male v female conversion. We do this so males and females can compete in the same workout fairly. (And also why CrossFit adjusts loading for male and female divisions). The reason for this is because of the difference between males and females. On average males are 30-40% stronger, can jump 18% higher, have 45% more hemoglobin mass, 40% more power output, etc.
@@DMS1010in a CrossFit competition you would have to do the prescribed cals as written here. With that said, to make it fair against a games athlete I’m sure there are ways to create a handicap system that’s similar to golf, I’m just not sure what that looks like.
I measured it before we started. Standing with hips and knees extended and arms overhead with thumbs together. From there, the measurement is from finger tips to 6” above that. For me, it was the TOP of the pull-up bar, which is why I made sure my fingers were hitting above the top of the bar on my reps.
People will not understand how fast that was till they try it 😂 Brannen take a bow 🙇

He’s pretty FIT. Nice meeting you Brennan at Legends last weekend. Great stuff.
Nice meeting you as well!
Insane pace.
He should call in to Kill Taylor sometime! He would crush the style of workout they usually do.
Jeez Brannen is FIT! 👊🏼
You guys politely overlooked the Dan Bailey dribble from Brannen in the last 15 cal row. A class act is allowed to dribble in pain I suppose. 😅
Hahaha, I couldn’t control it.
@@brannendorman6772 All is forgiven. I think there should be a new Effort is a Choice T shirt with this image emblazoned on it.
Brannen killed this workout.
I just redid mine and went from 18:17 to 16:14
Brannen is insanely fit 😂
Brannens one of those na I haven’t been working out like that then kills every workout lmao
Brannen’s Big Biceps Bobbed Beautifully on the Burpees
Brannen with the butterfly burpees 😮💨

@@brannendorman6772 makes sense completely. What would it look like if you were programming me against Tia in this workout?

There’s 0% chance Brannen jumped to a 6 inch touch, but still really impressive pace regardless 👍
