5 DAYS in CHAING MAI, THAILAND

Welcome to Change Mai, North Thailand. This is where I spent the last week of my Thailand journey, where I was able to slow down a little bit, explore the local area but also actually rest in the cutest private room & meet the loveliest people.
Change Mai was nothing like I expected to be honest, I thought it was going to be more quaint than it was, but it is a city so what did I expect? I don't know.
But I still really enjoyed this city!
This city will also be THE ONE that gave me the worst turbulence flying in than any other of my 15 flights on this journey, the bumpiness was real.
I got to visit Doi Inthanon National Park as a day trip, and actually saw my first proper waterfall of my whole trip. How did it take me so long? I also got to visit the highest point in Thailand, and just incase you didn't know, it was very cold. You will need to wear more than a t-shirt and shorts...
I am so grateful for what this country offered me, thank you Thailand.

It may have shown me the most rain of my whole experience, but hey, it was still amazing.
Also, if you're heading to Thailand anytime soon or it's on your wish list, please, PLEASE for the love of your body get a Thai Massage. You can see from the last part of this video how completely in AWE I was after that amazing experience. I actually was shook, it was one of the best, most refreshing massages of my life. And the women there were so lovely, I just adored them.
I stayed at Cafe De Hun for 3 nights, where Bee, the CUTEST hotel manager was my utter FAVE & then I stayed at the August Hostel (just down the road) for 2 nights, where I met my Chaing Mai bestie, Pooh. Both these places has loads of offers in house for trips in and around Chaing Mai. I also have to say they taxis from the airport to Chaing Mai town were probably the cheapest I found on my whole trip, and were also so simple to sort on arrival.
I cannot wait to go back to this wonderful country and I am SO jealous of all of you that are going soon. So many places I still want to tick off, I may need more than 30 days..
