    This is a really great stitch. And an awesome video! I had a question though. Does it mean that on the row where you do the slip stitch, that you will always come out with an extra stitch on that row. I always have an even number for the row for the half double crotchet and an odd number of the slip stitch

    Hi Sirin,it is really nice to see this pattern ,without any offences I like to share that please put camera more closure so in which loop you are inserting crochet is seen clearly. As I tried and was unable to make same with 2-3 rounds. I love your crocheting pattern.

    This is such a lovely stitch but my edges are at a slant (left and right edges slanted in the same direction). I haven’t missed a stitch, still the same # but I think the HDC row is pulling to the side and since it’s every other row it’s pulling to the same side each time. Is there a way to counteract that?

      I’m having the same issue! I even took it out and started over after 20 rows just to make sure. It’s a lovely stitch and I want to make a baby bunting, but the edges obviously need to be straight. I’ll try sending another comment to see if the creator responds. Good luck to all of you!

    • @Pinkroses-summer23
      @Pinkroses-summer23 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Thank you ladies for each of your comments. I will not go ahead with it until the creator corrects the design.

    • @TeriDean
      @TeriDean ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Pinkroses-summer23 I did end up making my project, but I had to single crochet the wavy edges and turn it inside out so they don’t show. It makes a lovely, dense and stretchy fabric but I won’t be making it again until I can figure out how to have clean edges. I hope this helps!

    GENIOUS! I have a pattern for a simple Ruana for my granddaughter. But I hate that they just grow in size with each wearing and stretch out so badly! This stitch will make a sturdy wearing wrap that will not get all stretched out by wearing! I do have a question though.... I was going to make it in Single Crochet. This stitch should use a lot more yarn. I'm hoping that the 2,650 yards should be enough to make a 56-60" overall from lower back to fronts (long) and 36" from shoulder to shoulder{wide) - which I guess is about the size of a blanket! Wonderful work!!!!!

    Having a bit of trouble with my edges being a bit wonky. I added an extra stitch at the end of that first row of special HDC where there seemed to be an empty spot. This throws off the stitch count by one but maybe it won't be noticed. I'll post later after I get through some more of it to see if that helped

    Hi! I’m having the same issue that others have noted. The edges are slanting slightly, possibly due to the HDC row tilting a bit. I keep hoping it will even out, but it just gets more pronounced with every row. This stitch is so beautiful and I’d love to use it, but I need straight edges. Do you have any suggestions to help? Thank you for your lovely video!

    I kept getting one side that was bumpy and weird looking so I tried doing only a chain 1 at the end of each row instead of switching between chain 1 and chain 2 like she was doing and it gave me a nice clean, straight edge. Just thought I'd throw this out there in case anyone else was having the same issue as me.
