Legit they struck gold even if for whatever reason this isn't profitable they could easily do a low budget sit com or slice of life spin off of just straw hat pirates hanging out and chilling on the ship
That would surely be successful being much lower in risk and cost but can still attract a lot of audience
ofcourse everyones very excited. this is not about one piece, this is an all new cast of bloody actors who will have a bright career in the future even after the Series that will continue for atleast 5 Seasons :3 and why shouldnt they be successfull? there is no reason to think that D;

@@eduuklee9453 nah people are more inclined to give the live action a try despite bad rep because of the aggressive marketing. Most of the audience had fallen in love with the cast before the show even aired + the extent to which oda influenced the direction was known so it was received with much less of a critical stance than most anime readers tend to view live action adaptations with. It doesn't even look _that much_ better than most other adaptations, fans just aren't as eager to be the nitpicky pricks they usually are.
So they really managed to find real life Sanji, that's crazy

@@pralayaryanthe way I understand it, is that he actually didn’t know how to fight when he was casted, but then grinded like crazy, also if you look at old clips of him training for the role it doesn’t look nearly as impressive

I feel like this Netflix's Sanji is gonna be the best interpretation of the Sanji we know. All of the cast members are looking good tho.

I think Taz Skyler is my favorite of the cast. As great as everyone else is, he feels the most like his character
ngl, Sanji actually learning to cook impresses me more than them doing their own stunts.
I just love how effortless their chemistry is with each other. I think because the format is with real people and they are actually amazing actors as well there's an extra element of the power of friendship. It really looks like these guys adore each other's quirky little unique characteristics and that makes the show so much fun to watch

I didn’t know Taz has martial art background. Now I know why he got the part even if he’s not the most Sanji looking actor out there. Those kicking poses are amazing

It's debatable between Taz and Emily. Your statements for Taz are VERY true. However Emily is getting to play her dream role (she's a HUGE One Piece fan and absolutely loves Nami). So it comes down to: Getting to learn really cool things (cooking, kickboxing, etc.) VS getting to play the real-life persona of one of your all-time favourite characters.

Training and Cooking as well, my man started taking professional cooking classes to the point where he became so good he was even cooking for the rest of the cast behind the set. And I remember when people were questioning Oda's choice of choosing him for Sanji....
This is just proof they picked a top-notch cast for this show. Any doubts I had are gone.
this is what happens if you work close with the mangaka, oda chose inaki for the role of luffy because he made him laugh in the audition. thats the good shit.
I think by the time season one of OPLA concludes Sanji's popularity will be through the roof because everyone will be simping for Taz. xDDD I have to admit I was not sold on this particular casting decision from the start but seeing him put in the work... Respect.
