This song describes their story so well. Specially when the lyrics say "the smile you gave me even when you felt like dying". And "maybe we should just try, to tell ourselves a good lie". Its so sad, but it has beauty in it, because he made her understand how to live and how to love, and she made him feel something new, she made him learn how to love even in his situation. Its ironic how those six months were the best months of Will's life. We can see how much he loves her. He kept his decision not just because of him, but also because of her. If he stayed with her, they would both suffer and Louisa would never be completly free. She would make him happy, but his situation would get worse and he would keep feeling trapped all the time, blamed for making Louisa feel responsable for him every single day of their lives. As Lou's father said, there was nothing capable of making Will change his mind. She tried her best, she fought for 6 months and his decision never changed. Why? Because since the day of the accident, he stopped being his true self, because he knew he couldn't handle more pain, more sufferness. This book is marvelous, and the movie keep the main details of the book and make this wonderful story gain life. Thank you for this video.
I think most of ppl didn't understand the beauty of this movie. Yes, the death of Will is sad but the true love is also to accept the decisions of our love

Bellissimo film ...il mio preferito ma credo che sarebbe stato meglio dargli una fine diversa .Non c'è niente di male nel lieto fine. Inoltre la morte è così definitiva mentre finché si sta su questa terra qualcosa può sempre cambiare in meglio.La scienza e la tecnologia vanno avanti. Una volta ricordo di aver visto in tv una persona che stava sulla sedia a rotelle andare all'altare con le sue gambe grazie all'esoscheletro ....è stato veramente emozionante. Come non siamo noi a decidere il giorno in cui nasciamo non dovremo essere noi a scegliere quando terminare la nostra vita. La vita è un dono che ci viene fatto per uno scopo .Porre fine alla propria vita prima della morte naturale significa non portare a termine il compito a causa del quale siamovenuti al mondo.Lui si uccide perché non accetta di aver perso la sua vita precedente.Questo atteggiamento rivela una contraddizione con quanto viene affermato alla fine del romanzo...ovvero che gli ultimi sei mesi sono stati i più belli della sua vita

Infatti un lieto fine lo avrebbe reso banale. In fondo è la fine più logica per questo film. Forse se fosse finito come ho detto un paio di anni fa non sarebbe stato così bello e indimenticabile
