We installed the same unit last year. I would suggest that you mount a switch on the control panel to activate the fuel pump - it helps a lot when you change the Racor filter. The engine always needs preheating. 2 issues we’ve had so far after 300 hours - the raw water pump impeller de bonded from the brass mounting/drive bush and we had a sticking shut down solenoid - stuck shut
@@deadmissy007 page 26 of the manual has Priming the Fuel System says to jump the 12 gauge red wire on the remote panel connector block (on the alternator) to the 14 gauge yellow wire. All I did was to run a cable from those connections up to a switch on my remote start panel. Not sure how to add photos in this reply.

Hey Gerry, love the generator...already did the switch! Thanks for watching! 😊😊⛵️⛵️
Kris Baker also I’m changing oil at 50 hours. With only an oil strainer plus it’s a quart of oil - big deal
Can you post some pictures showing how you hooked up the switch to activate the fuel pump?

Do you have any pictures?
What happened to the videos. I just found the channel and I’m really enjoying them.
Are you planning on running air conditioning off this genset while at anchor? What are your genset plans? Battery charging? Frig freezer? Other???
Mostly to run ac. I am going to get solar panels to take care of the rest ⛵️⛵️
I’m across the island. Would you mind if I came over to check out the new Gen?
We would love to show you the generator...be in touch! Thank you so much for watching!
