    I love how you played the note in the same style and phrasing as opera singers and did lip vibrato to create the same effect
    You sir are absolutely fantastic and are one of the best virtuoso I ever heard

      @@Pablo-on7xm trumpet's very difficult of course, bear in mind that the trumpet is one the most physically demanding instruments out there. If you've playing for only a year then I recommend working on technique, exercise such as long tones, lip slurs and scales will greatly help play the song that you want to play comfortably. Remember, you're in a very early stage your embouchour is not developed yet
      You're using new facial muscles that your body is not used to, so working on those exercises will help build up those said muscle
      Think of it as boxing
      You can't just put some gloves on and get into a ring and expect to do well against somebody way above your skill set, you will need to spend time outside the ring to train. You may run to increase you CRE, you may punch a bag to work on your attack and accuracy. You may just do sits up and push up to build up your strength.All factors that are essential to a boxer
      In the end, in order to to do well on the ring, you can't just make those skill. You need to practice efficiently ( sorry but trying to play your favourite songs while having little to no warm up or cool down is not practicing the right way, you may improve but nowhere as quickly as if you were working on technique)
      I can't hear you play, so I can't tell you for sure which exercise I'd suggest but,
      I recommend long tones, take a deep breath. Get in front of a mirror to make sure the trumpet is straight and going over to the sides and play a middle G
      Hold it out as long as you can while doing your best to keep the sound controlled and stable, let's say your records is 30 seconds, redo the exercise but try to hold the note for 31 seconds ( remember, straight sound and trumpet) if you can't do hold it for that long, then practice until you can
      Of course, don't overwork yourself. Make sure to keep a balance between improving and enjoying it so you don't burn out and end up hating it
      If you take lessons, I highly advise you to show this comment to your teacher and let them decide if they agree with it
      You prioritize and listen to them,
      I'm a trumpet student and not yet a teacher but from studying Vizzutti's and Mendez's masterclass. This is the best method I got, my teacher agreed with it and my improvement has been miles better from working on those things

    This trumpet god didn’t even flinched for the highest note like it’s just in the first octave range that most teenage only masters in 1 or 2 years of consistent practice.

      Well it's a Piccolo trumpet. It's tuned an octave higher than regular trumpet so your C4 it's actually a C5

      @@mhmusic5336 It doesn't actually increase your range a lot (or at all for some people), but it does make the notes less strenuous to play

      That's great to hear, Kurt! Mozart has a playfulness that your personality is well suited to express. Thanks also for playing those notes that are not too high.
      I enjoyed your version of the Flintstones. You could possibly take the ending down an octave, so that we can reflect on just how nostalgic that theme music is. Thanks also Kurt for the huge effort that you are putting in to bring us such quality music. It's much appreciated.

    This might be a dumb question but what is the 4th valve for

    • @KahootDini
      @KahootDini 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Makes it better for playing D or G in tune. Higher octave instruments have close partials a 4th valve can help keep them in check.

    • @baguette3975
      @baguette3975 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s a piccolo trumpet. Generally higher range than normal trumpet, the 4th valve is to play in the lower register
