Can you also do a step by step guide on how to apply for a particular course
Yea, I hope to do something similar but like I said, all courses are different and have different procedures. I will look into some of the courses that has no program website and provide explanations in one of the upcoming videos. Do you have an example of such programs.

Good day and Happy Sunday,
I received admission to the University of Glasgow for an MSc in Food Security around May 2024, but due to a lack of funds, I have not yet started the process. Is there any way I could still utilize the offer and apply for the Chevening Scholarship?
@@princewillchijike3307 when is the start date written on your admission letter?
If it is September 2024, then request to defer the offer to the coming year (sept 2025), by doing so they will send you another admission letter that you can use for your Chevening.
It’s very easy. Check the school website on how to defer and do so.
I can't find Master in Engineering MEng?
Hey Chinaza, I am Malawian, my main question is on English proficiency, you said the certificate might be needed later.
I have observed that most universities in UK need English proficiency, what specific English proficiency can I use? Actually I have know that they don't even take into consideration the media of instruction of your undergraduate degree.
Thanks for your response
Hello it really depends on the country you studied. I know I went through the university websites to check about the English proficiency. I realised some just wanted Nigerians to submit the senior secondary certificate. Also those I tried to email them, also allowed for it.
Question
Have you tried to email the school of interest and stating you were taught and assessed in English and English is your official language?
Great video!
Please will they require evidence of work experience?
@@Lorenzo_theTutor I can’t remember submitting any. But I had a reference letter from my boss.
Please do well to subscribe if you have not. Thanks
Thank you very much for the information.
I have a worry after watching this video I realised we apply by country but I just followed a link sent to me by a friend to apply for it and I don't know if I am using the right portal for my country.
What do I do? Should I withdraw the application and start afresh?
@@zifacfatima6071 hmmm no don’t withdraw your application. Can you attend this event Tomorrow? facebook.com/share/p/EdwFtZe2o9hV6Gnh/?mibextid=WC7FNe the Chevening PO will be there so this question you can ask it. Try to type in this question once you log in and wait to know if they will answer during the discussion.
For me I will say don’t withdraw. Since you chose Nigeria and you chose all those locations for interview, you application will be for Nigeria. My thought.

Good day Ms. Chinaza and well-done. I'm at the point of filling in my personal details. Please what do they mean by this?
"Please ensure the name you provide below is the same as the name on your passport. Please complete your profile and your name in Latin Script (i. e. the version of your name in Latin characters where it has been transliterated in your passport.
I am confused here! Thanks
@@UduakAtang-wt8by Hello Uduak, I think that information is for people whose names have some accent. I think, you don’t need that. So just put in your name as it is in your passport. We (Nigerians or West Africans I presume) don’t have any Latin translation to our names. So just put your name as it is in your passport and you are good to go.
If you have any further doubts keep filling your form but submit a question to the Chevening. Don’t let it prevent you from moving forward with your application.
@@Chinazaarinzechukwu thank you Ms. Chinaza
How do I ask for an application fee waiver for the UK universities ma'am?
@@soladoyeamidat8434 I think you can send an email to the graduate school office to request for a waiver. Also there are other UK schools that don’t require application fee. Do your diligent search.

Hello, most of the courses that i want to apply for e.g( MUNDUS MAPP - Erasmus Mundus Masters Program in Public Policy) does not have a (website link) only the coordinators link and i clicked on it there's no course info on the website or any other link to apply for courses, please help. And for the reference letter, must it be addressed to one specific scholarship or can it be (To whom it may concern) I'm trying to apply for multiple scholarships
Thank you for the suggestion! I will definitely look into it, and we will explore it together on this channel. Stay tuned, and please consider subscribing so you don’t miss the upcoming videos.
Regarding reference letters, I prefer them to be specific and tailored to the course I’m applying for. Even if the letter is addressed 'To Whom It May Concern,' I believe it should still reflect the unique aspects of the course and my qualifications. I usually share information about the course or scholarship with my referees to ensure the letter aligns with my scholarship applications.
@@Chinazaarinzechukwu I appreciate your response.
@@Chinazaarinzechukwu My former lecturers (my chosen referees) aren't teaching anymore so the reference letter they gave me aren't letter headed, they only wrote their name and email, is that okay?

Are we to first apply to the schools we want to choose for chevening before starting the chevening application or we just have to select the schools during the application at chevening page, then chevening will be the one to contact the schools.
Please, how can I join your group for more updates.
@@abdulrahmonibrahim2756 hello. Welcome. First thing is to find the courses in the universities you want to study in.
You don’t need to apply for the admission at the moment but choosing and knowing the courses and the universities will help you writing your essays.
You have the responsibility of applying for admission before the required deadline. Chevening does not apply for admission for you.
Read the FAQs like I mentioned in the video. Some of these were explained there as well.

Can I apply without experience 😢
Hi. For Chevening, you need work experience, but there are other scholarship you don’t need work experience.
.
A good example is Erasmus Mundus. You don’t need experience to apply for most of the Erasmus Mundus courses. I provided a step by step guide on how to apply. Here is the link.
