These are phenomenal releases IMO and exactly what I wanted.
The third Toaplan collection will definitely make the Evercade one of the best consoles for shmups, but far more affordable and with little to no input lag.
Truxton 2, Vimana and Batsugun are incredible.
Crude Buster arcade, alone, makes that cartridge worth buying. Hopefully it will come with a poster of that game art, which is superb.
Really great stuff. The Toaplan cartridge is arguably better than the previous two Toaplan ones combined given the lineup of legendary games.
Hopefully extra games enabled when combined with other carts.
Data East! One of my all-time favorite old-school game developers. Data East Collection 1 is also one of my Favorite carts. And another toaplan shooter collection is always welcome.
You have a video with all games by the TH-cam channel: Hablamos de Evercade
Kim Justice published in December 2023 a video "The A-Z of Data East 1990's Arcade Games", and "The Cliffhanger: Edward Randy" stuck in my head. Going by that video, this is to Indiana Jones what Sly Spy is to James Bond. B-Wing is the second one identified that I'm interested in.
With the Toaplan collection, I already got a few on Steam, but I'm in it for Truxton 2.
I'm definitely looking forward to these.
Holy shit!!! Truxton 2!!!!😎💪👍!!!
It's too hard to be fun. But I am super excited about the other games.
This might be the first ever physical release of Edward Randy, fantastic game.
For the Toaplan 3, I hope they include Grind Stormer somehow, even if as a hidden VS game.
I had the same thought. I really hope somehow Grind Stormer gets in there and maybe you're right it's some sort of unlocked hidden game. We'll keep our fingers crossed.
These are WORLD CLASS carts for me, wow
YES. Now this is something I'm definitely looking forward to :). It's been to long since we've had another data east collection. And I'm a bit surprised but glad we are getting a toaplan arcade 3. So glad we have Truxton 2 this time. I'm finally going to be able to play it now. :).
Happy enough with these releases but as Radiohead would say ... "No Surprises" :-) Keep up the awesome work!
Lol no alarms no surprises..love it.
But we also might get "Lucky".
HOLY CRAP! BATSUGUN!!!!
Glad to see more Run n Guns hitting the system even if one is a rerun.
Thanks for the heads-up! Unlike Alpha these carts are something I'm interested in. It's very nice to having something to look forward to.
Can we get a BurgerTime themed Alpha? I would love to see a Data East cab next.
Good sleuthing there CB! These are both right up my street!
The official trailers are running now...7 games on the Toaplan cart and 12 on the Data East one.
will definetly get them both! this is great news!!
Can't wait I've pre orderd alpha deluxe arcades and have all arcade carts and will buy them 2
Toaplan 2 set looks sick 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
3! Amazingly it's the 3rd Toaplan cart
Anyone that's been familiar with Retro Bit's Super Retrocade, that H D Atari thingy or the At Games Legends 100 game device recognises that Evercade is picking up everyone else's cast off licenses of previous years. Not good or bad in and of itself but hardly exciting or new to a lot of people. Suppose it's better than a dry year though.
I'm not interested in these games myself, but just having these types of games available on physical media is definitely a good thing.
My thoughts and suspicions exactly Crazy Burger! 🤔. Wither a cunning plan or not. I’m glad to get something. That roadmap is gonna look better filled in than not! 👍. By the way. Have checked that game for you. It’s TIGER-HELI. The colours in the image match the cover art I found! 😊
That gun guy in the background of data east has me heavy suspect bloody wolf. God I hope it is…
me too!
It's the NES version of Tiger-Heli this time.
Wonder what that's all about..
It could be Twin Cobra...its called Tiger smth in Japan...
Nice! Two pretty good looking carts there! I hope Boogie Wings is included with Data East and for Toaplan, yeah baby, this is what I've been waiting for! Batsugin, Outzone, Truxton 2 and more!!! In my opinion these are some of the absolute best Toaplan made.
Thanks for the videos Crazy Burger! You're always right on top of all this stuff.
Fcuking Yeah, Toaplan 3!!! Those Data East games, most if not all are also on the Super Retrocade if you have one...
Awesome find Crazy! Yeah, it's annoying stuff leaks but at least this time we have something to be really happy about - Arcade Carts!!! 😎👍
The other three Data Easts are:
Midnight Resistance (which we already have on Console 1)
Shoot Out
Last Mission
Fun cart, only wish Night Slashers were on it.
Yeah I was surprised that didn't make it..
night slashers is a great game!!! i still play the hell out of that! midnight resistance is a classic i missed out on for evercade so will have to get this cart!
Both of them seem like good releases to me. I still play Burgertime on the first Data East cart all the time.
Super Burgertime is arguably the best version too..
@@CrazyBurger never played that one, will have a look
I love Burgertime, but does the Evercade need 3 versions? Lots of overlap on these. Not massively into shoot em ups either so Toaplan isn't of massive interest.
Love Two Crude Dudes 👍
That Data East 2 is WOW. Trio the Punch and possibly Boogie Wings? Hoooly shit
I'm not sure if Boogie wings is there..
This is fantastic! I hope it's true, I'm already excited!
I'm excited by these! I have Edward Randy on Jamma and it's a brilliant game. One of the shots next to Edward Randy looks like Road Blasters.
The trailers are out John 😅😅 This is not coincidence.
Super Real Darwin, that is cool
Wow what a surprise 😊 Now that's what I'm talking about 😊
Data East 2 looks cool. Hopefully we get Snow Bros 2 on Toaplan 3.
I’m excited about both of these collections. I really wish Blaze would release Capcom and Taito carts too. I have no idea why they haven’t done that yet.
They haven't as Capcom and Taito won't license physical carts. Not Blaze issue.
@@CrazyBurger that’s a shame. I wonder why.
Thanks for info Mr. Burger
It's great to finally get another Data East arcade collection. Toaplan Collection 3 seems to be yet another collection of shooters, but I guess that's what they're best at doing.
I'm not currently subscribed to Antstream, because I'd rather own the games outright than pay a subscription just to be able to play them.
I have not paid a thing to Antstream. Had it for a few years. It was originally free, I've still got plenty of credits to keep using it. I just use it occasionally. It's a good source of info too.
Crude busters
I hope the Data East Arcade 2 cart won’t have the slowdown issue that the first cart had when played on the Super Pocket. (Sly Spy had that problem, and to my knowledge it’s still hasn’t been fixed)
Good point and no.. its still an issue. Sly Spy still horrible on the Super Pocket.
Good morning!! OMG !!!
WHAT?!!!! I thought the next arcade carts were supposed to be the Namco Museums, Taito, Jaleco Arcade 2 and Technōs Arcade 2, but nope, they clearly aren't the ones.
Incredible cartridges
Batsugun!
If theyre real then for sure picking them up, some day I hope we see bigger games like Hydro Thunder which I loved playing.
Definitely real!
@@CrazyBurger Evidently so! Toaplan looks really good!
👏
It's most definitely been leaked on purpose 😂 Looks like pretty decent collections to me
Don't get the logic of releasing an arcade cabinet without tate mode simultaneously with a cart full of tate games?
The arcade cabinet isn't really designed for that. Would've been great to get a swivel screen like the Taito Egret.
coucou j'ai l'evercade VS et L'Exp ; cela est t'il utile d'avoir la VSR ET LA EXPR ? c'est obliger pour les giga cards ? ecrir en français svp
Data east fantastic, gonna reserve judgement on toaplan until I see it but haven’t pulled the trigger on 2 yet as the shooters are a bit samey.
Definitely Tiger Heli, evidently the NES one. I wish we had gotten Slap Fight MD instead.
Mmm that's weird. Wonder why..
Lucky i never ordered the Evercade Alpha, as Nintendo are doing a Marvel Collection on the Switch with 7 games and it's gonna be online too 😍😘😗😙😚😚🤗
I don't know if anyone is on the evercade mailing list but I got an email about the carts
From the email:

@@rashidlanjri8818 thanks!
Wheres the update
Quick off the mark Crazy Burger! And you called Data East 2, as well. So, if it's deliberate, I guess it's to get some more excitement around the Alpha.... but, I don't know. I'm calling 'error' (again).
Lol yes it was a prediction and question posed to Sean on the podcast.. I'll need to re-listen to hear his response again.
Yeah, most companies make similar mistakes but aren't as closely watched, haha.
how is it a leak it they were announced by evercade? they put 2 videos for them... omfg
This was yesterday. Blaze announced them today. Omg.
Toaplan 3, meh.
Data East 2, cool!
That Data East 2 is WOW. Trio the Punch and possibly Boogie Wings? Hoooly shit
Awesome games !! Unfortunately, Blaze takes way too long to put out games !!
I'm really glad that Trio the Punch was on the lineup. I've been thinking that I was going to see it running on Evercade, and now, it really did. Shame there's no Karate Champ, Magical Drop II (Neo Geo MVS version), Burnin' Rubber or Fighter's History.
As for the Toaplan one, I'm amazed how Ghox and Vimana made their official Evercade debut. Too bad Grind Stormer wasn't on there, though.
Surely Evercade must have the most reliable leaks in the business?! 😆
The Data East cart has an incredible lineup! 12 games, and among them are rarely seen greats like The Cliffhanger Edward Randy & Joe and Mac Returns.
And. Trio the Punch. It’s a game I hoped for, but certainly didn’t expect. This is a super odd game, someone at Blaze has got excellent taste!
No Boogie Wings, but it’s still a very strong compilation. If there ever is a Data East 3 with BW and Nitro Ball I’ll be first in line for that one too.
Toaplan 3 looks great too, Batsugun is superb. Too bad we don’t have dip switches yet, these shooters will be very hard as is. I was disappointed Out Zone wasn’t on Toaplan 2, pleased to see a run and gun to mix up the spaceship shooters.
Looking forward to another toaplan collection, the other 2 are quality fairplay 😄
If Boogie Wings is definitely on Data East 2 then that is a must buy, loved that game in the arcades back in the 1990s, long overdue a release on a home system
Data East Collection 2 is gonna be day 1 purchase for me. I loved the first one.
burger time is a endless classic!!!
What did I tell you? Toaplan 3 because Embracer and it seems G-Mode is still in the ultra cheap licensing... and apparently PAON DP is still not on.
Probably the only arcade cards for the year, unless PIKO got more abandoned games.
Kyukyoku Heli/Twin Cobra and Tiger Heli are, I believe, different games by Toaplan.
Decent number of games on Data East Arcade 2 but nothing that's setting my world on fire, especially since two of them are just arcade versions of games we already have. The arcade games continue to be the least interesting carts for me but understandable that they'll want a few more to go with the Alpha.
Just FYI, one of the ones you don't know is Joe and Mac returns. It's like Tumblepop with cavemen.
Until the make a difficulty selector for these arcade carts i wont buy another. They are set to brutal and are no fun because of it.
I've sure this is coming.. dip switches are planned to coincide with the Alpha releases.
Hopefully Ring King is a hidden bonus game when both arcade carts are inserted
You say no new publishers, but that's assuming these are the only arcade carts coming... Data east 2 looks pretty damn good. 12 games makes for one of the largest arcade collections. Looks like there's B-wings and shoot-out on there.
I meant no new arcade publishers. That's just my assumption. I don't see more arcade carts getting released other than these 2. I could be wrong.
We know there's a giga cart and another blue cart coming, the other two... Who knows... But yeah I'd assume just two arcade carts.
@@genejoke8538 possibly HCH 2 and another Gremlin cart.. plus 2 bangers for Christmas.. 1 could be more Tomb Raider and something else..
@@CrazyBurger Tomb raider collection 2 seems likely. As does HCH 2. Probably safe to assume there will be a dual cart of some kind. Tbh I'm hoping for another Amiga cart.
They can’t be that stupid but don’t call me Shirley
Lol. I should've known better to fall into that legendary joke..
The games on Data East 2 look GREAT, but I'd rather have a Toaplan console collection...seems like they're really scraping the bottom of the barrel with another arcade one.
Truxton 2 isn't bottom of the barrel..
@@CrazyBurger - Matter of opinion, I might be interested if it weren't just 6 shmups and an Arkanoid clone...though I guess that one doesn't look bad.
Maybe like, obscure the image or something as to not spoil it for others.
Apologies. My error..
