Batsugun Special Edition with much smaller hitbox, a shield protecting the player from one hit, more powerful bombs, new scoring items, and the addition of multiple loops of increasing difficulty after completing the initial loop make the new Toaplan an essential purchase and the new Data East collection has a good amount of games and variety. Nothing that we didn't probably expect but two solid releases nonetheless. Keep up the awesome work Rich :-)
Nice! I didn’t know that about the special edition, very cool! I look forward to checking both of these out! And thank you for checking this out my friend!! More soon! 👍👊😀🔥🔥🔥
It sure is! I’m looking forward to those quirky ones, I like when devs turn things on their heads! Thanks as always for checking this out my friend!! More soon!! 👍😀👊🔥🔥🔥
I'm excited for these carts. It's surprising there isn't Boogie Wings or Karnov. Who knows, maybe a hidden game as you said. Thanks for the video, Rich!
They definitely look like a great time! I was really hoping for Boogie Wings, and yeah, Karnov would be awesome as well! We’ll see if they can sneak in a hidden game though! Thanks as for the support and for checking this out my friend!! 👍👊😀🔥🔥🔥
Toaplan 3 is shrine to TOAPLAN shmups. Truxton 2 and Batsugun SP are two of the greatest space shooters of all time for fans of the genre. Great video. We have a new show 7:30 on Saturdays starting. I have played almost all these arcade games. Both are must have carts for sure.
I’ve been hearing awesome things about this collection for sure, very excited to dig in here!! Thanks for the feedback, and I’ll have to check out your show, we’re live on Saturdays as well at 11AM EST over on the Evercade Effect! Thanks as always for checking this out my friend!! 😀👍👊🔥🔥🔥
Looking forward to Truxton 2 and the Batsugan games, really enjoyed the original Truxton! Hopefully Crude Buster and the arcade version of Midnight Resistance are significantly different than the console versions of Midnight Resistance and 2 Crude Dudes? Edward Randy gets accolades in my book for the extremely strange name alone 😂
That would be cool if there were differences for sure. I can’t wait to check them out! I’m definitely looking forward to this! Thanks as always for the support and for checking this out my friend!! 😀👍👊🔥🔥🔥
Im all for these collections. It was a given that they had to put together a couple of new arcade collections to accompany the Alpha at launch. Too bad no Tate on Alpha though.
Indeed, Arcade carts along side of the Alpha is definitely the way to go. And Data East and Toaplan are fan favorites, even better! I’m looking forward to these for sure! Thanks as always for the support and for checking this out my friend!! 😀👍👊🔥🔥🔥
Right? Such a wild game, I’ve played it a bunch, and would love to see it on a cart soon! Still, hyped about these!! Thanks as always for checking this out my friend!! 😀👍👊🔥🔥🔥
Still no Bump & Jump (Burnin' Rubber) or Mission-X? Maybe there'll be a 3rd Data East Arcade Collection at some point. Or maybe one of them will be the bonus game for the VS. I couldn't get the hang of Peter Pepper's Ice Cream Factory. You had to "basketball dunk" the ice cream scoops onto the cones from a distance. Maybe I was doing something wrong? I'm happy there's another Toaplan cart. The existing 2 carts I keep in my VS all the time, with 8BitDo controllers that include Rapid Fire. Just plain fun shooters. Will be nice to use in the Alpha. In the original Truxton, one of your weapons fired a homing "lightning gun" at enemies, but had lower DPI as a trade-off.
I think Bump N Jump is still owned by someone else, but yeah, Data East still has Burnin Rubber I think. Mission X would be awesome as well! I’m definitely looking forward to all the rest of those Data East and Toaplan games, as the bulk of them are discovery for me! Very cool stuff! Thanks as always for checking this out my friend!! 👍👊😀🔥🔥🔥
It’s possible they are trying to leave things for a third cart, but I have Bump N Jump on my list as well, if they have access to release those versions still! Thanks as always for checking this out my friend!! 😀👍👊🔥🔥🔥

That's a lot more shooters on Toaplan 3, indeed.

They are both really good looking collections. Now we need Irem collection 2 so we can play Ninja Baseball Bat Man!
Crow wants that game too, I hope we get it someday!! And yeah, these really look great! Thanks as always for checking this out my friend!! 👍👊😀🔥🔥🔥

The Great Ragtime Show looks nuts. Never seen it before, just watched a video.

@@BaconIceCream if it was on a cart I would purchase instantly!

Should have included Night Slashers & Bump n' Jump, instead of those 2 weak games, Trio the Punch & B-Wings. 😕
