Steve Francis...one of the most underrated, disrespected players. Put this in perspective, the fact that the commentators said the bounce dunk was terrible, lets you know how ahead of his time he was.
Did you see how many steps he took before bouncing? Lol
Think he said it was terrible as a joke.
Salty magic commentator
@@christianthames2302 Yes. But the NBA has long since disregarded traveling, in exchange for highlights.
They said it was terrible because it was a blatant travel
Imagine Steve Francis in this era
This man was a phenom. Top 5 ball handler in the history of the game & had big bounce
Man it's a disrespect that he doesn't get talked about at all
The Franchise had the street handles and the ferocious dunks! Acrobatic layup finishes and quite the shooter aswell. Not talked about enough, his game was nice. 👌🏽
it’s insane ppl talk about russ or drose as pgs that never existed before when there were francis, gilbert arenas, steph marbury or baron davis 🤷🏼♂️🤔 i don’t get that narrative
@@starwarsfan-ye9hw the only one worth talking about from the past was Jesus ... but you are right It's tough for me to say it, but he is looking quite Derrick Rose like.
Robert Pack was bouncy back before Steve
He was like a more finesse version of Westbrook.
It goes to show you how much they forget about players steve franics was a monster i never hear him talked about ever even when they bring up best dribblers his name never gets brought up its wild to me
That self alley travel was crazy lmao
And they were down 10 when he did it
Nice!
Steve Franchise!!! 🍭🔥☄️
Point guard, with crazy range, ridiculous handles, and funked in the 2000 dunk contest where Vince was basically born - one of a kind, deserving his shine!
Them Throwback Houston Jerseys like dat 🔥 especially the white on white with the white number 😩🙌🏽💯
His greatest times were with the rockets. He did very good with Houston.
Steve did play two seasons with the great wall of Yao. He enjoy playing with Yao.
I’m watching bc I went back and played NBA live 05 on my GameCube and was destroying people with Stevie. I had to remind myself of his greatness
Definitely one of my top 10 best ball handlers of all time
My favorite player growing up in the early 2000s man was he fun to watch
Steve Franchise killing it
Still watching Mr Francis in 2023!
I had a pair of his shoes in elementary school. One of my all time favorite players
Lemme tell you how cold SF was.....he was in the 2000 dunk contest and would've easily won if Vince wasn't in it, he killed it that night too. He said he was hyped he didn't even warn up he was jus ready to put on a show
When I was a kid I had a lil goal in my room and I always did the Steve Francis signature 1 hand dunk ,,, he is by far my favorite dunker of all time,,,
Dang i ain’t even know he had so many Orlando highlights. He was def a problem.
That’s the Franchise!
He was fun to watch in the early 2000's. He was smooth.
My first favorite player ever
Ja morant is more this man than Derrick Rose
I agree
jxmmyhighroller made a vid saying this was true based on an alogorithm, so u would be correct
Steve Francis was a bad bad man🎉
The first game Yao played with Shaq, yeah he really had a great game with 44 points.
stevie.. i still have a faith in you. My roll model nba star in houston.
Who's here after Jxmy's video?
Sheed was furious on that travel haha
No cap he was cooking young Kobe
我心目中最好的1号位球员。你的鼓励和担当让姚明迅速成长,那段时光是美妙的!
90's players has no chill.
It's the 2000s players
I'm not talking about 2000s players. See my comment? 90's player bro
Ahhh memories
He's getting back into ball shape again. He's off the alcohol. 6'3 nigga had ups. I watch him in Maryland. Cat had ups.
him on 2k is a cheat code
Yup I use him all the time on Xbox one
Used to have them all black Franchise shoes. Miss these times
2 surprises for me... How many highlight dunks Stevie had in Orlando and how little the defense tried to draw cheap charging calls back then. They contested drives like men back then
Nice 👍🏼
Im the killer in 2k with this dude , he a beast
Anfernee and Francis are the what if players in NBA.
I got 2 more what if guys... Grant Hill... and Brandon Roy
@@darrellwoodfork5143 Yeah. It's sad not to see their full potential.
@@darrellwoodfork5143Brandon Roy knees is what ended his basketball career.
@@hectorlopez1069 and that was a damn shame too... he would have been a great basketball ball player too...
For real grant hill ceiling was Kobe type of player. Brandon Roy basically Dwade type of player
Thanks for putting this together. A lot of rare clips in super good quality. You have any clips of his last season?
Glad you enjoyed I tried my best to make the quality watchable since all the clips are before the HD era. All the clips I used was all I had available to work with so unfortunately I missed a ton of key Highlights that I wish I found.
80% Allen Iverson and 80% Vince Carter combined in one body is how I would describe prime Steve Francis. He was just ridiculous back in the days. I've never seen any point guard playing like him even till today. Imo more entertaining to watch than D.Rose, Westbrook and Ja Morant.
To all... we would not have Russel Westbeast, Ja Morant, and such without The Franchise.
Russel westBrick and Ja Moron
And without Penny starting that trend of them type of ballers.. Flashy with a whole lot of bang
Forgot D. Rose
What they all say
Damn! What a travelling! 0:27
Francis cold
Still remember watching that Lakers-Rockets Christmas Day match-up. Rockets had a solid core of rising stars. I don't think that group of Yao, Stevie, Cat & co. maxed out their potential together.
Steve Francis was like that ... Crazy thing is whenever ppl bring up handles nobody mentions Steve Francis ... His handles was equivalent to Allen Iverson handles
Before there was a Kevin Durant out of Pg county. It was Steve Francis. From Pg county. If you know than you know
Steve Francis not from PG County. He from Takoma Park...same thing DMV
Lookin like Russ before Russ
Francis ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💯👌🙏😇🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
that moment you liked dude and its just an O missing
Russell Westbrook before Russell Westbrook
He b 4 reeeeel!
The No.3 dunk travels at least 7 steps but good dunk means everything...back to old days
He went straight down the hill when he was traded to Orlando for t-mac.
With the magic he got a few great moments as well. But yeah definetly that was the breaking point.
Yea he gained weight too
First year in Orlando was actually his best year... He was more matured while still young enough to be explosive. Orlando was the top 1 team in the East for a period of time. The braking point is they stupidly traded Mobley for Doug Christie when team chemistry has never been better in Orlando in so many years. That's the real turning point of his career.
Founder of two foot take off
The greatest dunker in Nba history
Vince Carter
He plays like d wade but more athletic
He’s the OG version of derick rose/ja morant
Def ja morant
If I remember correctly one year he avg 20-7-7, All-star snubbed.. smh
I didn't remember him on the knicks
It was after Orlando I believe
Jr smith b4 jr smith
:09 dudes reaction smh crazy yo! Franchise
Westbrook before Westbrook
Friday
Trendsetter francis
Anybody watch till 5:13 😭😭
when Nba was Nba...
No that was in the 80s
Tim hardaway
0:26 travelling
Hate
Uhh this the nba when did you start watching?
He was going to the store
@@elishareilly7980that man took 8 gather staps stop the bullshit
Steve Francis... Never heard of him ?
Unfortunately my highlights aren't enough to show how good he really was but just know he was a dawg.
@@h.m.j.a.206 Um feeling you , Word !
You must be new to basketball if you don’t know who this guy is
@@Sparks2520 Um going to look him up, my problem Is all sports have become so woke and political, I lost interest and quit watching
Nba now seem so fucking weak nocap
Lack of defense and load management is the biggest problem
@@h.m.j.a.206 I swear bro
Francis was always my favorite player.
