Biggest tip is to turn your ADS sensitivity down to 0.1-0.4 and practice exaggerated holo sights. Same thing as a 8x.
I personally just leave it at 0.3 and I'm beaming after 20 minutes lmao
What is your non ads sense? I'm currently using 0.8 and then 0.3 for ads
yeah im using 0.4 non ads and 0.8 for ads just because standing recoil on ak is high

Why are people mad at you, the new recoil does take a little time to beam at long distance with. Just now it's not a 2k hour time sink to master 1/8 weapons. The only reason I started playing rust again was because of this update, before it was unplayable for the casuals

if your good at the game u shouldn't need 2k hours to learn 1 gun. it was easier to stand up and shoot ak now u have to crouch.

I got 100hrs ukn with new aim. And its helps loads, recoil is still a skill. My friends from call of duty cant handle recoil, so it just shows the recoil is still skill based.

Although the old Ak did need 10x more practice I will say that getting the pattern down at long range helps so much as a returning player
I'm decent at the AK spray, watched a sinks video and got humbled. I need to get it better, My shit moves so much.

Honestly don't agree with most people who say stuff like "new recoil is too easy" or "it took the fun out of the game now anyone can beam". That's the point... if you now struggle with the game because the recoil is easier, then there's another reason why you struggle. Making recoil easier, in my opinion, levels the playing field where it becomes more tactics and strategy to win. Not just "I practiced more hours than you at recoiling a gun!!!". This way, you actually have to out maneuver and outsmart your opponents instead of just relying on a mouse pattern.

Do you know the sensitivity difference i would need to change to have the same exact pull down when using 8x and iron sight.

If your using halo double your dpi and it should be the same as a 8x

The exact multiplier is x*3.83780, y*3.83780.
Back on old recoil i used my sens * 3.7 but play around with the values which feels best.
For proof or whatever of how effective the *3.7 was I have some clips in my old videos of using 8x on old recoil.
EDIT: New recoil in rust also changes the harshness of recoil when you strafe but at this time I don't know the exact value.

As a Admin I wish the Old recoil was still here because its MUCH harder to find cheaters unless they are hard cheating because its hard to find people who are scripting because the recoil can be mastered by a player with 50 hours and people buy cheap accounts with 2000 hours and they script and when people report them we cant do anything because its nearly impossible to find someone whos scripting
old recoil just made new players quit, it makes no sense in a game with 0 skill based matchmaking

I Have a rust no recoil script that is 15$ life time but it has all guns and it works everyone. There is also some other features like Anti-AFK, Furnacesplitter, Silent walk,Big clip and rapid fire.

One thing I will say, is just scrim on UKN but not 1v1’s it’s not likely playing an actual server you going to be fighting a lot of 1v1’s so try 3v3’s and up

@@LilJakey. facts tbh . the new recoil doesn't even require a tutorial i learned that easy ass recoil in 5 mins without looking at the pattern even once. they took the hardest part out of rust and made it easier for the little 5 year olds that wanted to play rust. now its all up to ( aimcone / rng ) rather than your skill that comes from putting in the time and training to see results. Now we have a substantially increased number of roofcampers who also might i add now have even more weapons to roofcamp with ( thanks to facepunch being lazy unworthy devs ) . The Whole Reason for the change was to stop scripters ( which it didn't do at all ) , so instead of fixing they're dogshit anti-cheat they took the easy ( CHEAP ) route and it didn't do much except make them lose almost half of they're dedicated players in exchange for new players ( therefore ruining most peoples love for the game by making it too easy ) via ( tech tree's , easier recoil , adding extended mags

Seeing improvements when you invest time and dedication into the game and the feeling of getting a gun and to bring it back to base was the things to which i had fallen in love with the game - now it is just an RNG FPS shooter like every other shitgame on the market. FP just saw the $ and ruined the whole game experience for a high amount of dedicated players who played the game for several 1000th of hours - just to get the lazy ass kids up to a level where they can point and click you with their whole nursery school class or sit on their roof while watching Teletubbies. I quited the game but i still feel sad that one of the few games in my 15 years of beeing a gamer i really put time and effort into has come to a state in which it is "unplayable" for a "casual" gamer who plays solo or in small groups and related on the skill, movement and game sense he had built over the past few years. It is just dull, boring RNG based, to fast in progression and overloaded on content while bugs which were implement years ago still aren't fixed and also nothing was done in terms of imrpoving the perfomance or the anticheat system.
I found a "funny" thing under a video of Camomo which i will quote here - but let's say if this guy is right and i think i is a good shot due to the high amounts of blantant cheaters who don't get banned.... then FP not only fucked the whole PVP experience over but sent the game to die even more quickly:
"as a cheater myself. i know the exact issue. its not EAC. its the ingame stat based anticheat cerberus. it was a humanized anticheat that would take stats of all players and compile data for what would be deemed "legit" and would have an automatic ban feature. 99.999% of rust bans were carried out by cerberus. not EAC. EAC only bans them if they are using detected public cheats. ever since they reset the recoil system. they were forced to wipe all stats that their anticheat has recorded to be up to par with the new system. ever since then. the game has not been the same. cheaters can get mass reported for days. and if they dont have crazy stats nothing will happen. and there are plenty of ways to fool the system. tragically this game is on the decline in every way" by Slim thugger
if the only way you can get the uperhand on some noobs is by a hard recoil then you should question yourself if you are that good of a player

Hard my ass...yeaterday we lost a raid counter bcs of a random naked who got an ak from theground and sprayed everyone, he had 150 hrs.....If it was old recoil it wouldn't happened this

gun play is so ass now. the ak is the only gun that has a smooth pattern now every other gun has weird all over the place patterns. I would try to learn them but the aim cone is terrible. even putting on the holo doesn’t help it anymore if you had a perfect spray you can still miss at range. also the gun sounds make me want to throw up.

I see a lot of people deviating their comments, when the purpose is pointing out the video. It's a great help for new comers, for sure.
Now, answering a lil bit of what I saw, Rust created a division among players when they eliminated sprays. Most people who bought cheats were your typical bad-skilled person at the game, but the scripters were 90% people who complained about "OMG how much TiME dO i NeeD TO sPEnD to LeArn AK, I wORK 8 HourS a DaY".
Well, guess what, there are a lot of hard games out there, such as Dark Souls, CSGO (avg player needs 4k hour to get supreme or global) and if you can't reach the top because you don't have enough time or skill, it's ok, you don't have to be angry at the game for it. Enjoy it! Even now Rust is completely bad game in terms of PvP, it still has the survival touch of it, along all the memories veterans carry from past experiences in this game, that is what keep us pushing ourselves to play one more wipe with our friends and keep enjoying the game, because that's the point, enjoying the game.
People should make an effort and kind of stop throwing out negative comments and acting in consequence of them, bcz that is how toxic environments are made (cheaters, scripters, etc). Sore losers really don't have a place in these games, they eventually get bored so I don't know why they complain so much.
