Still amazing episode. I enjoyed listening to this again years later. Thanks guys. I wish I was to trade with Nico in the same room. I am tempted to apply. Too bad I don’t want to be on California time no more, it was a torture to wake up and to trade so early. I just love his personality and the vibe!
Who would dislike these videos? I absolutely love them. They are informative, empathetic and most of all offer great hope for the future. I love hearing from people that are/were just like me. They were hungry, they grinded. They did the work. The end results are amazing. The year or two investment we spend writing the first chapters of are journey are just a tiny blip in time compared to what will be.
When I first starting listening to Chat with Traders I didnt understand the lingo, firms, names....now, today i listen less than a year later and I feel like I am finishing their sentences and I can literally see the charts of the tickers in my head and all of the peoples names I am familiar with. Hey man, im trying to get into trading and I know close to nothing on the subject. Would you mind recomending me some readings or telling me where where to start, thanks.
@@alexbussing561 th-cam.com/channels/NVxqV5plTxTx3D_57ai5Ow.html This guy taught me alot, imo he explains well, easy for beginners to understand. To be honest its going to take time regardless of what you read until you actually start trading. Start paper trading first to get an understanding. ThinkOrSwim is awesome for paper trading. One Good Trade is a great book once you start understanding the market a bit. Learn basic support and resistance, learn price action (daily price movement) is king. And everything else you learn is gravy. Most important advice I can give is just be patient, very patient there is a lot to learn but obtain as much info as possible before starting with real money. Good luck!

⭐⭐Great episode. Awesome the see the Nico's journey from retail trader to big time prop trader . Still seems as humble as he was the first time round.⭐⭐
Great point on hard stops... in my opinion... hard stops takes the emotion out of the trade. You are ok with the risk you're taking. Mental ones you don't know where the hell you're getting out... you think you know but in the heat of the moment you question yourself what the right move is. Next thing you know you're well past your target and you find yourself hoping for a better outcome. That's my opinion.

I know how that is. I feel better making 2% cleanly other than being down 18% for hours then finishing being up 7% for the day. You worry about your actions the next day and hope to not be reckless.
I love your interviews man!! Thank you for all that you do for the community. I’m just curious, have you ever reached out to Michael Edward with True Trading group? He has a little bit of a presence here on TH-cam but I would love to hear a chat between you two. I think that would be so great. Cheers!

Wow, took about 12 buys for GBPUSD under 24 hours ago(against all the indicators I knew, and everything I know about the market haha) besides me making terrible trades for no real reason. I am making money in the market. I can make the money back and I will improve look to the next trade.
