    I just discovered your channel. I absolutely love this scarf, and other items you have-they are totally my style!! I love lacey stuff, I always say, crochet is good for lacey feminine items, you got knitting for the rest.

    I like the feature of you checking your work at the end of each row. This technique shows that your pattern is right. It's always disappointing to find out to far into the project that you created a mistake and have to redo all that crocheting. Great video!!! :)

    Yay ! Thank you for your tutorial video ! Finally finished the skinny beaded scarf , It was my first one. A lil bit challenging for me, on some of the ends.
    I made it in a Pearly Turquoise Bamboo yarn. Lovely ! :)

    This is lovely Kristin! Definitely doable! I will order as soon as you get in the yellow colorway. In the interim I will be shopping for a bead needle!

    I'm having a tough time with getting the ends right. Can't tell you how many times I've had to undo all that crocheted work. Oh well, I'll keep trying until I get it right. It is a beautiful scarf and I really do like your video tutorial, Kristin. Thank you.

    Thank you , seriously, thank you for the tip about the 'flossers', I have a terrible time with the beading needles I have (SO fragile) I have added this to one of my lists and will be back to go through the video when I free up some time ( 2 afghans and a shawl in the works now ;) )

    Hi Kristen, I ordered this kit and can't wait to make this lovey scarf! I just discovered your chanel and have already subscribed! I had been searching for a lacy summer scarf pattern and the right yarn to make it with and then your chanel fell into my lap...lol
    I still see myself as somewhat of a beginner because it's only been a year and half since I started crocheting, however I fell in love with it and have made so many things including a recently finished doll. I so admire the ones who design and write patterns and who teach on you tube; I would not have been able to learn without you wonderful people!!! I hope I can make this scarf and it turn out beautiful!! Thanks again for all you do!!!😊

    The way the beads look as they slip on to the needle look like 6mm to me. I used some recently. I have a collection of Czech fire polished glass beads in 4mm and the opening is so tiny I don't think they would fit. What size yarn are you using?
    I recently added some 4mm to a shawl made using 4ply wolltram- my melodyy yarn which is very fine strands and I had to divide the ply in 2.
    What type of yarn weight do I need to look for?
    Are you 4mm beads considered 'seed' beads?

    Kristin, I LOVE your patterns and you are a great teacher!! Your video tutorials are so easy to follow and I'm really enjoying making some of your scarfs which really turn out so, so beautiful. I have a favor to ask of you: Would you, please, do a video tutorial of the edging of the Beaded Crochet Lace Skinny Scarf?

    Love your videos. Can I make this scarf wider? Will I have to use an odd number in my chain?

    • @KristinOmdahl
      @KristinOmdahl  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can make it wider. There is a stitch pattern involved, so increasing by the repeat is best.

    Hello again, I wanted to know if you could help me to find a pattern written in English for a raised rose motif that has several different names and different ways to connect them together. Some of the motifs connect in a square, some in a hexagon. Volumetric Spiral Raised Rose, Hexagon Crochet Rose, Spiral Granny Rose, 3D Spiral Rose. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Surely it would have helped if you had used a darker bead so it would have been easier to see, just sayin, thanks anyway
