His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri Calls for Righteousness and Unity at the Seerat al-Nabi ﷺ and World Peace Conference at Kintex Hall Ilsan, South Korea.
The Conference was attended by delegations from Pakistan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, Siri Lanka, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Yemen, Iran, Bangladesh, Libya, Lebanon and other Arab countries.
While addressing the Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ and World Peace Conference, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri stated, those who prioritize the life of this world over the Hereafter may receive some worldly benefits from Allah Almighty, but they will have no share in the Hereafter. On the other hand, those who prioritize the Hereafter over the worldly life and live according to the pleasure and teachings of Allah and His Messenger (PBUH), safeguarding their faith, their children’s faith, and the faith of future generations, and who respect the rights of Allah and His creation, such people will be granted nearness to Allah in Paradise.
Dr. Qadri added, those who prioritize the Hereafter and their faith over worldly matters are true believers. A person who constantly remembers death leads a good life, while one who forgets about death will ultimately ruin their eternal life.
Shaykh-ul-Islam advised, whenever you perform any action, engage in any company, make friendships, raise your children, or even eat food, consider whether it will improve your Hereafter or ruin it. Keep the Hereafter always in your mind in every action, and if an action improves your Hereafter and brings the light of Allah's mercy and the Seerah of the Prophet (PBUH), then that action will bring goodness in both the world and the Hereafter.
He further advised to abandon friendships that lead you to bad habits and bad gatherings. Live your lives according to the Seerah and example of the Prophet (PBUH). If you want to know if Allah is pleased with you, see who you long for and desire in your heart. If it is for Allah, then understand that He is pleased with you. Currently, there are attacks on faith, religion, and belief in Allah. To protect your faith, come towards unity, avoid division, and do not remain alone. If you are isolated, Satan will snatch you away.
Dr. Qadri emphasized: This life will end one day; real life begins with the evening of the grave. So all of us must prepare for the eternal life in the Hereafter. This preparation lies in the true love, servitude, and practice of the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Implement the recognition, love, and obedience to Allah and His Messenger (PBUH) in your lives. Embrace righteousness, be steadfast in fasting and prayer, prostrate abundantly, develop good morals, purify your speech, and do not waste the precious moments of your life in gossip, backbiting, arrogance, or negative speech. Follow Allah’s commands, obey the Messenger (PBUH) and earn halal livelihood, so that you receive the light that will illuminate your grave and the Hereafter.
His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam concluded his speech by stating that Minhaj-ul-Quran’s call is a call to unity. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said that whoever wishes to make their abode in Paradise should embrace the community; unity leads to Paradise, while isolation leads to Satan.
Accompanying His Eminence were Dr Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council; Prof Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Dr Ghazala Qadri, Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri, Mrs Safa Hammad Qadri, and Shaykh Ahmad Mustafa al-Arabi al-Qadri.
The event was also graced by His Excellency Saeed Koozechi, ambassador of the Islamic republic of Iran to the republic of South Korea; Prof. Dr. Hossein Ali Yousefi, Professor of University in Iran & South Korea; President Minhaj Asian Council, Mian Ali Imran; General Sec MQI USA, Dr Mansoor Mian; Shahzad Ali Bhatti; Muhammad Jamil Ch; Shafee Khan; Abdul Rasool Bhatti; Faisal Najeeb; Muhammad Azeem Mirza; Atique ur Rahman; Khalid Hameed Butt; Aqeel Mujahid Awan; Hamza Khan Jadoon; members of NEC, Members of LEC and public at large.
