Many times, converts become truly committed Catholics. I think it is because they come to the Faith fully informed. Praise God for Kathryn.

I’m trying to convince my friend who is very Protestant. Very educated.

Escolasticamart: I did revert after life as a Protestant in my twenties and finally came to the Catholic faith and am committed indeed. My childhood faith memories came full circle almost immediately.

It is often people who are more intelligent who have difficulty in change. I think prayer is the key, especially when directed to others. As in praying for the best for others intentional.

The journey of Protestants to Catholicism is always a good reminder to all Catholics of how lovely our religion is. Thank you for your wonderful and inspiring story.

Luke was just a little guy sitting on the floor next to Kathryn as she led the early morning musical portion of VBS at our church in Austin maybe in 2012. Kathryn was able to engage a huge room full of kids in praise and worship while Luke was happily entertained by the whole event. I loved seeing him each day and how much his siblings and all the kids loved him. Kathryn has always been a bright light of joy and faith every time I have seen her. I love this testimony of her Faith and I am so happy to have heard it today. Praise God! God bless Kathryn and her precious family.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful journey. I learn so much from all the different guests & their journeys. It is especially helpful when we receive empathetic advice & examples of how to carry our cross. You are helping many people.
I appreciate you so much for being here !

I also am a “convert” to the Roman Catholic Church. However, I’m finding huge differences in how our Priests relate to their congregation versus what I was used to in the Protestant church. Kathryn’s analogy to child birth contractions and “leaning in” to sometimes excruciating pain, is a great help saying, “yes” while not having all the details of the “why” of their protocols.
    Thank you 🙏

Thank you for sharing your beautiful story. I am a "cradle Catholic" and went to Cursillo years ago and those EXACT steps of Evangelization resonate often with me today: 1.Make a friend, 2. BE a friend. 3. Bring a friend to Christ. It changed my entire perspective.
    (Also, three tenets:
    1. Formation
    2. Holiness
    3. Evangelization)
God bless you in your journey!❤

Hi Kathryn. I have heard you on The Catholic Channel on SiriusXM, Busted Halo (and now those short inspirationals 😊). It’s so nice to hear more detail about your conversion. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to reading your book. Thanks also to The Journey Home for so many great stories of conversion. Keep ‘em coming’!

Thank you for sharing your story. I love how you look back and appreciate your Protestant roots and how they shaped your faith as well. I also fell in love with the liturgy when I first saw it too! and coming from Baptist roots had never seen anything like it!! I am baptised and confirmed in the Anglican Communion, and still on my journey of faith... My sister is a Catholic convert. Your words about the suffering and how it opened your heart to have a deeper relationship with Christ, were very beautuful. I needed to hear that. Thank you.

Thanks for the continues update😊 I'd rather trade the Crypto market as its more profitable. I make an average of $15,000 per week even though I barely trade myself
