A balance patch came out today that fixed almost all of my issues with the game, the only thing missing is Chaos being able to do Trial Mode. Go get Dicefolk, go, go, go!
So they were able to make the game even better? Omg

it still do be funny that the fight before the final boss is harder then the final boss itself.
What a great series. It'll be a shame to see it go, but I'm sure Reto will be glad to have 1 less hour long recording a day. Can't wait to see what the next series will be, if there is another one planned yet. Trial mode for Chaos would've been fun, and maybe we can revisit the game if that does come out.

Such a fun game and series! I hope they add trial to chaos bc idk it just makes chaos feel not worth playing without the extra challenge and like quality of life things like reroll and iri starters I was hoping when you cleared the end of trials it unlocked for chaos but sadge

Side note, is it just me or was Otsos’ ability not working with the pain relic? It should be
First Turn
Pain relic + Talisman = every takes 1 damage
Cactuar applies thorns twice
Otsos Turn Start= Cactuar and Shamri take 1 damage each
Cactuar applies thorns twice
Shamri hurt (by Otsos) + Pain Talisman = Cactuar and Otsos take 1 damage?
Cactuar applies throne twice?
Unless I misread/interpreted Otsos ability and it’s only one ally takes the 1 damage, shouldn’t there be like 42/48/54 thorns popping each turn?
Edit: I was wrong/ did misread it it is only one ally. Otsos ability - as said in the video - is more tuned to its first half and the second half is more of a happy accident for the pain faction. Griffombre’s ability hits every ally my b
I really want to like this game, aesthetically with interesting progression. But I feel like 80% of my runs I can make my party really hard to beat, the best upgrades feel really broken. I don’t get enough of a precarious feeling like I’ll lose the game at any moment from this one.
Was there a cat miaowing or am I going mental?
Can't you skip events and go wherever you want? I swear I saw it happening in a previous episode
