      The biggest mike drop is my explanation, Exodus 3:14 and John 8:58 do not express the same thought
      We know that they do not because at Exodus 3:14 the Greek Septuagint Version (the translation that was often quoted by the apostles in the first century C.E.) reads, e•goʹ ei•miʹ ho Ohnʹ, “I am the Being.” This is quite different from the simple use of the words e•goʹ ei•miʹ (I am) at John 8:58. The verb ei•miʹ, at John 8:58, is evidently in the historical present, as Jesus was speaking about himself in relation to Abraham’s past. Numerous translators indicate this in their renderings. For example, An American Translation reads: “I existed before Abraham was born!”
      Not once, however, does the Bible state that Jesus is coeternal with God. Though Jesus enjoyed a prehuman existence of unspecified length in heaven, the Bible shows that he had a beginning of existence. He is called “the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation” and “the beginning [Greek, arké] of God’s creation.”-Col. 1:15; Rev. 3:14. The very fact that Jesus is called the “Son of God” reveals that he was produced by the Father and is, therefore, his firstborn and only-begotten Son. Jesus himself said: “I live because of the Father.” (John 6:57) After having come into existence, the Son was used in creating everything. (John 1:1-3; Col. 1:15-17; Heb. 1:2) As firstborn Son, this one enjoyed a special intimacy with the Father. He is spoken of in Scripture as being “in the bosom position with the Father.”-John 1:18. At John 8:58, once again the King James Version has Jesus using the expression “I am” in connection with himself, saying, “Before Abraham was, I am.” But here the expression is quite different from the one used at Exodus 3:14. Jesus did not use it as a name or title but simply as a means of explaining his prehuman existence. Thus, according to the New World Translation, the more correct rendering of John 8:58 is: “Before Abraham came into existence, I have been.”
      Clearly, no Scriptural basis exists for the claim that Jesus is the same as Jehovah of the Hebrew Scriptures. Even the teacher’s manual previously quoted admits: “That Christ existed before His birth in Bethlehem does not in itself prove He was God (He could have existed as an angel).” In fact, this is what the Bible teaches. In his prehuman existence, Jesus was “a god,” or divine one, but not the God, the almighty God Jehovah.-John 1:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 4:16. Plus Jesus would not have contradicted himself, Why did Jesus correct a certain man for calling Him “Good Teacher”? By thus refusing to accept this flattering title, Jesus directed glory to Jehovah and indicated that the true God is the source of all good things. Moreover, Jesus drew attention to the fundamental truth that the Creator of all things, Jehovah God, alone has the right to set the standards of good and bad.-Matt. 19:16, 17; Luke 18:18, 19
      In several instances in the Greek Scriptures men are called “good”. Yet when a young man called Jesus “good” he was rebuked and was told that none was good but God. Why?-
      The record tells of the rich young ruler who questioned Jesus: “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit everlasting life?” Jesus said to him: “Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.”-Mark 10:17, 18; Luke 18:18, 19, NW.

      @@alexshatner3907 When Jesus said Jn 8:58, He referenced Ex 3:14 otherwise why would everyone stone Him for blasphemy?
      Also, you cannot deny this simple logic from Jn 1:1 and 14a: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among men.
      Word = God. Word became flesh = God became flesh. God in the flesh is Jesus. Your argument is invalid. Sit down and repent for your false gospel.
      Why would Jesus say His Father is greater than He and then say He and the Father are one? Because as a Man, God the Father is greater. As a God, Jesus is equal to the Father. Only Jesus can make Himself less than or equal to God because He is God and Man at the same time.

In his prehuman existence, Jesus was “a god,” or divine one, but not the God, the almighty God Jehovah.-John 1:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 4:16.
      In addition
      Jesus would either have to be God or not, he cannot be stuck in the middle and indecisive, as he himself claimed not knowing the day and the hour. Plus Jesus never claimed to be God, and there are many of scriptures that show Jesus is not God but the son of God, Jesus always remained modest, always directing all glory to his Father: “Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.” “The Son cannot do a single thing of his own initiative.” “I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.”-Luke 18:18, 19; John 5:19, 30; 8:46; 14:6. In the book of Revelation the glorified Lord Jesus Christ repeatedly speaks of his Father as “my God.” At Revelation 3:12, for example, we read: “The one that conquers-I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will by no means go out from it anymore, and I will write upon him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which descends out of heaven from my God, and that new name of mine.” This is in full harmony with Jesus’ earlier statement to Mary Magdalene: “I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.”-John 20:17, When Jesus responded to Satan, it is Jehovah you God that you should worship!!! he did not say it is me you should worship. The New Encyclopædia Britannica says: “Neither the word Trinity, nor the explicit doctrine as such, appears in the New Testament, nor did Jesus and his followers intend to contradict the Shema in the Old Testament: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord’ (Deut. 6:4). . . . The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies. . . . By the end of the 4th century . . . the doctrine of the Trinity took substantially the form it has maintained ever since.”-(1976), Micropædia, Vol. X, p. 126. The New Catholic Encyclopedia states: “The formulation ‘one God in three Persons’ was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century. But it is precisely this formulation that has first claim to the title the Trinitarian dogma. Among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective.”-(1967), Vol. XIV, p. 299. In The Encyclopedia Americana we read: “Christianity derived from Judaism and Judaism was strictly Unitarian [believing that God is one person]. The road which led from Jerusalem to Nicea was scarcely a straight one. Fourth century Trinitarianism did not reflect accurately early Christian teaching regarding the nature of God; it was, on the contrary, a deviation from this teaching.”-(1956), Vol. XXVII, p. 294L. According to the Nouveau Dictionnaire Universel, “The Platonic trinity, itself merely a rearrangement of older trinities dating back to earlier peoples, appears to be the rational philosophic trinity of attributes that gave birth to the three hypostases or divine persons taught by the Christian churches. . . . This Greek philosopher’s [Plato, fourth century B.C.E.] conception of the divine trinity . . . can be found in all the ancient [pagan] religions.”-(Paris, 1865-1870), edited by M. Lachâtre, Vol. 2, p. 1467. John L. McKenzie, S.J., in his Dictionary of the Bible, says: “The trinity of persons within the unity of nature is defined in terms of ‘person’ and ‘nature’ which are G[ree]k philosophical terms; actually the terms do not appear in the Bible. The trinitarian definitions arose as the result of long controversies in which these terms and others such as ‘essence’ and ‘substance’ were erroneously applied to God by some theologians.”-(New York, 1965), p. 899.

      Isaiah 53 (ESV): 53 Who has believed what he has heard from us?
      And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
      2 For he grew up before him like a young plant,
      and like a root out of dry ground;
      he had no form or majesty that we should look at him,
      and no beauty that we should desire him.
      3 He was despised and rejected by men,
      a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief;
      and as one from whom men hide their faces
      he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
      4 Surely he has borne our griefs
      and carried our sorrows;
      yet we esteemed him stricken,
      smitten by God, and afflicted.
      5 But he was pierced for our transgressions;
      he was crushed for our iniquities;
      upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
      and with his wounds we are healed.
      6 All we like sheep have gone astray;
      we have turned-every one-to his own way;
      and the LORD has laid on him
      the iniquity of us all.
      7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted,
      yet he opened not his mouth;
      like a lamb that is led to the slaughter,
      and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent,
      so he opened not his mouth.
      8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away;
      and as for his generation, who considered
      that he was cut off out of the land of the living,
      stricken for the transgression of my people?
      9 And they made his grave with the wicked
      and with a rich man in his death,
      although he had done no violence,
      and there was no deceit in his mouth.
      10 Yet it was the will of the LORD to crush him;
      he has put him to grief;
      when his soul makes an offering for guilt,
      he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days;
      the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
      11 Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied;
      by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant,
      make many to be accounted righteous,
      and he shall bear their iniquities.
      12 Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many,
      and he shall divide the spoil with the strong,
      because he poured out his soul to death
      and was numbered with the transgressors;
      yet he bore the sin of many,
      and makes intercession for the transgressors.

      That only applies to real Christians, not one that sit in their homes doing nothing to support the faith. Not so fast and so easy, The context of Paul’s words, we find that one statement complements the other. We can never become righteous-and thus deserve salvation-by our own works, for we are inherently sinful. We can only be saved by faith in Jesus’ ransom sacrifice.-Romans 5:18. James, however, adds the vital point that faith in itself is valueless if not supported by actions. A person who claims to have faith in Jesus should prove it by what he does. An inactive faith is a dead faith and will not lead to salvation. The apostle Paul was in full agreement with this, and he often mentions the kinds of works that Christians should engage in to demonstrate their faith. For example, to the Romans he wrote: “With the heart one exercises faith for righteousness, but with the mouth one makes public declaration for salvation.” Making a “public declaration”-sharing our faith with others-is vital for salvation. (Romans 10:10; see also 1 Corinthians 15:58; Ephesians 5:15, 21-33; 6:15; 1 Timothy 4:16; 2 Timothy 4:5; Hebrews 10:23-25.) You are going to like this better, Exodus 3:14 and John 8:58 do not express the same thought

      @@timothy4131 Already two strikes against you so quick, and many more to come. Jesus is not God, he is the son of God, and Jesus did not die on a cross, You may assume that Christians were the first to use the cross. The Encyclopedia Americana, however, speaks of “its ancient usage by both Hindus and Buddhists in India and China, and by the Persians, Assyrians, and Babylonians.” Similarly, Chambers’s Encyclopaedia, (1969 edition) says that the cross “was an emblem to which religious and mystical meanings were attached long before the Christian era.”
      Indeed, there is no evidence that early Christians used the cross in their worship. During the early days of Christianity, it was the pagan Romans who used the cross! Says The Companion Bible: “These crosses were used as symbols of the Babylonian sun-god . . . and are first seen on a coin of Julius Caesar, 100-44 B.C., and then on a coin struck by Caesar’s heir (Augustus), 20 B.C.” The Roman nature-god Bacchus was at times represented with a headband containing a number of crosses.
      How, then, did the cross become the symbol of Christendom? the Bible teach that Christ actually died on a cross?’ one may ask. To answer this, we must look into the meanings of the two Greek words that the Bible writers used to describe the instrument of Christ’s death: stau•rosʹ and xyʹlon.
      The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia (1979) states under the heading “Cross”: “Originally Gk. staurós designated a pointed, vertical wooden stake firmly fixed in the ground. . . . They were positioned side by side in rows to form fencing or defensive palisades around settlements, or singly they were set up as instruments of torture on which serious offenders of law were publicly suspended to die (or, if already killed, to have their corpses thoroughly dishonored).”
      True, the Romans did use an instrument of execution known in Latin as the crux. And in translating the Bible into Latin, this word crux was used as a rendering of stau•rosʹ. Because the Latin word crux and the English word cross are similar, many mistakenly assume that a crux was necessarily a stake with a crossbeam. However, The Imperial Bible-Dictionary says: “Even amongst the Romans the crux (from which our cross is derived) appears to have been originally an upright pole, and this always remained the more prominent part.”
      The book The Non-Christian Cross adds: “There is not a single sentence in any of the numerous writings forming the New Testament, which, in the original Greek, bears even indirect evidence to the effect that the stauros used in the case of Jesus was other than an ordinary stauros [pole or stake]; much less to the effect that it consisted, not of one piece of timber, but of two pieces nailed together in the form of a cross.” Christ could well have been impaled on a form of crux (stau•rosʹ) known as the crux simplex. That was how such a stake was illustrated by the Roman Catholic scholar Justus Lipsius of the 16th century.
      What of the other Greek word, xyʹlon? It was used in the Greek Septuagint translation of the Bible at Ezra 6:11. In the New World Translation this reads: “And by me an order has been put through that, as for anybody that violates this decree, a timber will be pulled out of his house and he will be impaled upon it, and his house will be turned into a public privy on this account.” Clearly, a single beam, or “timber,” was involved here.
      Numerous translators of the Christian Greek Scriptures (New Testament) therefore translate Peter’s words at Acts 5:30 to read: “The God of our forefathers raised up Jesus, whom you slew, hanging him upon a stake [or, “tree,” according to the King James Version, New International Version, The Jerusalem Bible, and Revised Standard Version].” You might also wish to check how your Bible translates xyʹlon at: Acts 10:39; 13:29; Galatians 3:13; and 1 Peter 2:24. You need to find a faith that reject all forms of false teachings like the jehovah's wittnesses.

      The 144,000
      Mysteries Of The Chosen & Sealed Ones!!!
      YEHOVA Is Our Salvation:
      (The 144,000 And YEHOVA’S Special Mark;)
      What Else Does “Sealed” Mean? In Holy Bible Times,
      People Put A Seal On Something To Show They Owned It.
      So, When The New Testament Talks About YEHOVA’S Seal,
      It Is A Word Pic- Ture That Helps Us Understand An Important Truth: “ ‘The ELoHIM Knows Who HIS Own People Are’
      ” (2 Timothy 2:19 ). YEHOVA “Writes” HIS NAME On HIS People’s Hearts When HE Pours HIS Spirit On Them
      (Ephesians 1:13, 14; Ephesians 4:30).
      That Is What YEHOVA’S Seal Means. In The End Time,
      YEHOVA Will Put A Seal On HIS People Above Their Eyes To Show That They Obey HIS LAW (Revelation 14:1, 12). YEHOVA’S Seal Is Not A Real Mark.
      It Is A Word Picture That Shows How YEHOVA’S People
      “Grow More Loyal To The Truth In Their Minds And Hearts So That Nothing Will Change Them.”
      At Different Times In History,
      YEHOVA Tested HIS People’s Loyalty. In The Old Testament,
      YEHOVA’S People Showed Their Loyalty To YEHOVA
      By Keeping The HOLY Sabbath
      (Exodus 31:12-17; Ezekiel 20:12, 20).
      The Sabbath Also Will Be The Test At The End Of Time
      That Shows Who Is Loyal To YEHOVA
      (Revelation 12:17; Revelation 14:12).
      YEHOVA’S Seal Also Shows Us That YEHOVA Will Protect
      HIS People From The Seven Last Troubles.
      “I Revealed MYSELF To Those Who Did Not Ask For ME;
      I Was Found By Those Who Did Not Seek ME.
      To A Nation That Did Not Call On MY NAME,
      I SAID, ‘Here AM I, Here AM I. ‘
      ~ Isaiah 65:1
      Their Pains Will Increase,
      Who Prefer Another god.
      [Because Of Their idolatry];
      I Will Not Give Their BLOOD Offerings
      And I Will Not Take Their Names ON MY LIPS.
      ~ Psalms [ Սաղմոս] 16:4
      I Will Destine You To The Sword,
      And All Of You Shall Bow Down To The Saughter, Because, When I Called,
      You Did Not Answer; When I Spoke,
      You Did Not Listen,
      But You Did What Was Evil In MY EYES
      And Chose What I Did Not Delight In.”
      ~ Isaiah 65:12
      * Aurora: The Northen Lights:
      I Beheld Till THE THRONES Were Cast Down,
      And THE Ancient Of Days DID SIT,
      WHOSE GARMENT WAS WHITE AS SNOW,
      And THE HAIR Of HIS HEAD LIKE THE PURE WOOL:
      HIS THRONE WAS LIKE THE FIERY FLAME,
      And HIS WHEELS As BURNING FIRE.
      A Fiery Stream Issued And Came Forth From Before HIM: Thousand Thousands Ministered UNTO HIM,
      And Ten Thousand Times Ten Thousand Stood BEFORE HIM:
      The Judgment Was Set, And THE BOOKS WERE OPENED.
      ~ Daniel 7:9-10
      Then The SPIRIT OF ELOHIM Clothed Zechariah The Son Of Jehoiada The Priest,
      And He Stood Above The People And Said To Them,
      “THUS SAYS ELOHIM:
      ‘Why Do You Transgressing THE COMMANDMENTS OF YEHOVA?
      You Will Never Find Succeed.
      Because You Rejected YEHOVA ,
      HE Will Also Reject You.’ ”
      ~ 2 Chronicles 24:20
      YEHOVA’S EYES WATCH All The Earth.
      So That Those Who Follow HIM With A Straight Heart, Will Be Strengthened.
      ~ 2 Chronicles 16:9
      [YEHOVA'S Judgment To The Nations]
      “Then Tell Them,
      ‘THIS IS WHAT The YEHOVA Almighty, The ELoHIM Of IsraeL, SAYS:
      Drink, Get Drunk And Vomit,
      And Fall To Rise No More Because Of The Sword I WILL SEND Among You.’
      But If They Refuse To Take The Cup From Your Hand And Drink,
      Tell Them,
      ‘THIS IS WHAT The YEHOVA Almighty SAYS:
      You Must Drink It!
      See,
      I AM Beginning To Bring Disaster On The City That Bears MY NAME,
      And Will You Indeed Go Unpunished? You Will Not Go Unpunished,
      For I AM CALLING Down A Sword On All Who Live On The Earth,
      Declares The YEHOVA Almighty.’
      ~ Jeremiah 25:27-29
      THIS IS WHAT THE ELoHIM SAYS:
      “When SEVENTY YEARS [70] Are COMPLETED For Babylon,
      I WILL COME To You And FULFILL MY GOOD PROMISE To BRING You BACK To THIS PLACE.
      For I KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE For You,”
      DECLARES THE ELoHIM,
      “PLANS To PROSPER You And NOT To HARM You,
      PLANS To GIVE You HOPE And A FUTURE.
      THEN You Will Call On ME And Come And Pray To ME, And I WILL LISTEN To You.
      You Will Seek ME And FIND ME When You Seek ME With All Your Heart.
      And I WILL APPEAR To You,” DECLARES THE ELoHIM,
      “And WiILL BRING You BACK FROM CAPTIVITY.
      I WILL GATHER You FROM All The NATIONS And PLACES Where I HAVE BANISHED You,”
      DECLARES THE ELoHIM,
      “And WILL BRING You BACK To The PLACE From Which I CARRIED You INTO EXILE.”
      ~ Jeremiah 29:10-14
      For This Is What THE YEHOVA SAYS:
      “To The EUNUCHS Who Keep MY SABBATHS,
 Who Choose WHAT PLEASE ME,
 And Hold Fast TO MY COVENANT;
      To Them I WILL GIVE WITHIN MY TEMPLE,
      And ITS WALLS A MEMORIAL,
      And A NAME BETTER THAN Sons And Daughters;
I WILL GIVE Them AN EVERLASTING NAME,
THAT WILL ENDURE FOREVER.
      ~ Isaiah 56:4-5
      “You Are MY Witnesses,” SAYS THE YEHOVA, “And MY Servant Whom I HAVE CHOSEN, That You May Know And Believe ME, And Understand That I’M THE SAME:

    If anyone wants the reference, here it is
    John 8:31-59
    31 - Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed
    32 - And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
    33 - They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?”
    34 - Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin
    35 - And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever
    36 - Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
    37 - “I know that you are Abraham’s descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you
    38 - I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father.”
    39 - They answered and said to Him, “Abraham is our father.” Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham
    40 - But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this.
    41 You do the deeds of your father.” Then they said to Him, “We were not born of fornication; we have one Father-God.”
    42 - Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me
    43 - Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word
    44 - You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it
    45 - But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me
    46 - Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?
    47 - He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.”
    48 - Then the Jews answered and said to Him, “Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?”
    49 - Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me.
    50 - And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges.
    51 - Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.”
    52 - Then the Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You have a demon! Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, ‘If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste death.’
    53 - Are You greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? And the prophets are dead. Who do You make Yourself out to be?”
    54 - Jesus answered, “If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is your God
    55 - Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘I do not know Him,’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word.
    56 - Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.”
    57 - Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?”
    58 - Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
    59 - Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

      Exodus 3:14 and John 8:58 do not express the same thought

      “I Revealed MYSELF To Those Who Did Not Ask For ME;
      I Was Found By Those Who Did Not Seek ME.

      @alexshatner3907 ปีที่แล้ว

      And here is the truth let it hurt some more, Exodus 3:14 and John 8:58 do not express the same thought

      Truth

    • @alexshatner3907
      @alexshatner3907 ปีที่แล้ว

      For starters Jesus does not know the day and the hour, and Revelation 21:6, 7 indicates that Christians who are spiritual conquerors are to be ‘sons’ of the one known as the Alpha and the Omega. That is never said of the relationship of spirit-anointed Christians to Jesus Christ. Jesus spoke of them as his ‘brothers.’ (Heb. 2:11; Matt. 12:50; 25:40) But those ‘brothers’ of Jesus are referred to as “sons of God.” (Gal. 3:26; 4:6) (4) At Revelation 22:12, TEV inserts the name Jesus, so the reference to Alpha and Omega in verse 13 is made to appear to apply to him. But the name Jesus does not appear there in Greek, and other translations do not include it. (5) At Revelation 22:13, the Alpha and Omega is also said to be “the first and the last,” which expression is applied to Jesus at Revelation 1:17, 18. Similarly, the expression “apostle” is applied both to Jesus Christ and to certain ones of his followers. But that does not prove that they are the same person or are of equal rank, does it? (Heb. 3:1) So the evidence points to the conclusion that the title “Alpha and Omega” applies to Almighty God, the Father, not to the Son. So just because the verse preceding Revelation 22:13 speaks of that “Alpha and Omega” as coming does not necessarily mean it refers to Christ Jesus, whose second coming is frequently mentioned. Revelation 1:8 shows Jehovah as coming, and so Revelation 22:12 may do likewise. He comes representatively, through Christ Jesus. Revelation 4:8 speaks of Jehovah as coming, and Revelation 21 shows his presence with humankind. “Look! the tent of God is with humankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. . . . I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To anyone thirsting I will give from the fountain of the water of life free. Anyone conquering will inherit these things, and I shall be his God and he will be my son.” (Vss. 3, 6, 7) This reference is certainly to Jehovah God, for he is God to the anointed body members of Christ and they are his spiritual sons. They are Christ’s brothers, not sons, so the text is speaking of Jehovah, and it calls him “the Alpha and the Omega”. So when the Alpha and Omega is mentioned again in the very next chapter, why must the term suddenly shift to Christ Jesus instead of Jehovah God? It does not.
      Some argue that it refers to Christ Jesus at Revelation 22:13 because verse 16 shows Jesus speaking. But that does not mean the speaker of the preceding verses must also be Jesus. The use of the single quotation marks in the New World Translation shows a change in speakers between verses 15 and 16. We must remember that the revelation God gave to Jesus Christ was passed on to the apostle John by one of Christ’s angels, and that this angel sometimes spoke for Jehovah God and sometimes for Christ Jesus; so we must watch for these changes and note them on the basis of content and context. It is true that when the angel speaks for Christ, at Revelation 1:17 (NW), he states: “I am the First and the Last.” But a check of the context shows this “First and Last” was with definite limitations, was relative to just the matter of Christ Jesus’ death and resurrection, as verse 18 shows. Christ was the first one raised in the first resurrection, and the last one that will be raised directly by Jehovah God. Others who follow in that resurrection will be raised by God through Christ. (John 6:40; 1 Cor. 6:14) In fact, this limitation is also shown by the footnote on “First” in Revelation 1:17 in the New World Translation, where “First” is shown to mean “Firstborn” by one ancient manuscript. Christ was the firstfruits of those asleep in death. (1 Cor. 15:20) When “First and Last” is again applied to Christ Jesus, at Revelation 2:8, note that again it is with respect to death and resurrection. But when it speaks thus of Jehovah no limitation is set on the meaning.
      So we must be reasonable. When we see an expression that is applied to Jehovah several times in its unlimited sense, and then come across it again but not specifically indicated as applying to Jehovah, we cannot become flighty and switch the expression to Christ Jesus; and especially when we note that it is applied elsewhere, not in its unlimited sense, but only with definite limitation of meaning. Trinitarians try to capitalize on this expression to show it was used indiscriminately for either God or Christ, and in this way show God and Christ are the same. But logic and reason do not allow this, no more than do many other texts in the Bible.

      Till ALL BE FULFILED.
      Whosoever Therefore Shall Break One Of These Least CommandmentS, And Shall Teach Men So, He Shall Be Called The Least In THE KINGDOM Of HEAVEN: But Whosoever Shall Do And Teach Them, The Same Shall BE CALLED GREAT IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.
      For I SAY Unto You, That Except Your Righteousness Shall Exceed The Righteousness Of The Scribes And Pharisees, Ye Shall In No Case ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.

      The 144,000
      Mysteries Of The Chosen & Sealed Ones!!!
      “I Revealed MYSELF To Those Who Did Not Ask For ME;
      I Was Found By Those Who Did Not Seek ME.
      To A Nation That Did Not Call On MY NAME,
      I SAID, ‘Here AM I, Here AM I. ‘
      ~ Isaiah 65:1

      [Because Of Their idolatry];
      I Will Not Give Their BLOOD Offerings
      And I Will Not Take Their Names ON MY LIPS.
      ~ Psalms [ Սաղմոս] 16:4
      I Will Destine You To The Sword,
      And All Of You Shall Bow Down To The Saughter, Because, When I Called,
      You Did Not Answer; When I Spoke,
      You Did Not Listen,
      But You Did What Was Evil In MY EYES
      And Chose What I Did Not Delight In.”

      DECLARES THE ELoHIM,
      “PLANS To PROSPER You And NOT To HARM You,

      THEN You Will Call On ME And Come And Pray To ME, And I WILL LISTEN To You.
      You Will Seek ME And FIND ME When You Seek ME With All Your Heart.

    Many people misunderstand this verse, so i will just explain what this verse really means.
    The general claim is that when Jesus said "I AM" in the verse, he is claiming to be the same "I AM" that God claimed in exodus. But the "I AM" God claimed is NOT the same "I AM" that Jesus claimed. The "I AM" God claimed was "Eigo emi, ho on" which means "I am the one who is being" and the "I AM" Jesus used was "Eigo emi" now there is a difference between the two, the claim God used was literally claiming divinity by saying "Ho on" yet Jesus did not use that, and the "eigo emi" Jesus used is used by many other regular people in the bible itself and there this same phrase is translated as "I am he" or "I am the man". So if we rewrite this verse in its correct form, it will be "Before Abraham
    Was, I am he" now Jesus is neither claiming to be the "I AM" that God was in exodus as I showed earlier, neither is he claiming to be before Abraham as in he was living before Abraham but he is claiming to have been something even before Abraham was born. So what is the claim? This claim is a messianic claim, this is Jesus saying that he was prophesied EVEN before Abraham existed, that the man that was to come is him Jesus himself, he is basically saying "I am the messiah" and you might ask "But how was he the messiah if he was not even born yet?" We see in jeremiah 1:5 that jeremiah was ordained a prophet even before he was in his mom's womb, similar reasoning can be applied here.

(Romans 10:10; see also 1 Corinthians 15:58; Ephesians 5:15, 21-33; 6:15; 1 Timothy 4:16; 2 Timothy 4:5; Hebrews 10:23-25.) Paul went house to house preaching, that is what call faith, When you feel the urge to talk to people at their doors about the coming kingdom, not just saying form the comfort of your Sofa/ home "IM saved".

    If 'I am' means god, then when Jesus said: Before Abraham was I am...he meant: Before Abraham was god. By answering like that, Jesus Pbuh meant that God was there before Abraham. And "he" who is a servant and a prophet of God, got his knowledge about Abraham from God Himself. God that knows everything can share that knowledge with whoever He wants.

    In John 8:58, the King James Version has Jesus saying "Before Abraham was, I AM", with the phrase "I AM" in capital letters as if he were using a title. But the Greek expression in this verse does not use capital letters and is very different from the Hebrew expression found in Exodus 3:14, where God says, according to most modern Bibles, "I will be what I will be." In John 8:58, Jesus was not using a title to refer to himself. Neither was he claiming to be Jehovah God. He was simply explaining his pre-human existence. Some Bibles correctly translate Jesus' words as "Before Abraham existed, I have been" or "I existed before Abraham was born."

    Jesus, in response to the Pharisees’ question “Who do you think you are?” said, “‘Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.’ ‘You are not yet fifty years old,’ the Jews said to him, ‘and you have seen Abraham!’ ‘I tell you the truth,’ Jesus answered, ‘before Abraham was born, I am!’ At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds” (John 8:56-59). The violent response of the Jews to Jesus’ “I AM” statement indicates they clearly understood what He was declaring-that He was the eternal God incarnate. Jesus was equating Himself with the "I AM" title God gave Himself in Exodus 3:14.

      @@SharpTwoEdgedSword Exodus 3:14 and John 8:58 do not express the same thought

They disappeared from history in 333ce as the book Nazarene Jewish Christianity on Amazon confirms making him a false Messiah like the others Rabban Gamaliel mentioned in that passage of Acts. The movement came to nothing so it means he was nothing; certainly not HaShem Himself.

Новият завет категорично не е последователен на Старият Завет. И Бог няма да позволи на Християните вечно да развяват езическите си знамена. Новият измамен завет ще бъде хвърлен в огъня!!!

(Romans 10:10; see also 1 Corinthians 15:58; Ephesians 5:15, 21-33; 6:15; 1 Timothy 4:16; 2 Timothy 4:5; Hebrews 10:23-25.) Paul went house to house preaching, that is what's called faith, When you feel the urge to talk to people at their doors steps, like certain religions that preach regularly about the coming kingdom, not just saying from the comfort of your Sofa/ home "IM saved".
