I understand why Android Auto doesn't allow video playback on car's infotainment screen, for obvious safety reasons, but what is the harm in playing video on Android Auto say via TH-cam or even Netflix, when the car is 'stationary'?
A simple solution for this could be to interface with and use the Android Auto connected Smartphone's accelerometer to detect acceleration and to determine movement and stop playing TH-cam for example as soon as the car starts moving.
In today's world of smart mobility, what is the point in buying an expensive car having a high tech touchscreen infotainment system or even existing cars with infotainment system that supports Android Auto, if you can't even play video to entertain yourself & your family/friends, while the car is stationary!
Please provide TH-cam & other video streaming apps for Android Auto via OTA update.

Currently I am facing issue with Communication 16 error with Xiomi Note 6 Pro. On net they have mentioned that remove dual apps and restart mobile. However there is any solution working with dual apps.

But, I don't like Android Auto. It's only based on just for music and navigation. Android Auto, which means all apps to be shown on Android head unit. That means a complete Android on readio head unit. Try car launcher on head unit. That's far far far better than stupid Android Auto.
Please show how to play you tube video on Android Auto as new version of Android auto doesn't support aa mirror.

To play TH-cam Videos your phone must be rooted...then Install AA Mirror and AA Unlock to grant permission....

in 2020 year jan i have installed android car stereo in that do i have to install it or i have to install in android auto app in my phone and then take usb and plug in to car usb socket does it it .. from car infortainment they have provide two usb cables in that do i need to take phone usb cable and plug it into take usb socket then it will work????
