We are a mother/daughter duo with a passion for gardening and learning how to plant to live. Knowing how to grow your own food and medicine is becoming increasing important, and the upward trend in the desire to become self-sustainable will continue to rise as the years go by (and rightly so).
It only takes one seed/plant and patience to reap the long-lasting benefits that gardening bestows on us...

I wouldve never thought about asking someone else to grow in their yard. I think that is such a great suggestion. I just started growing vegetables in my backyard (3 containers) this season and excited about whats to come! Happy to be a subscriber and thank you for sharing this journey/knowledge!
We consider ourselves non-traditional gardeners since we don’t garden where we live. We hope that people consider alternatives if they don’t have the space or have other “restrictions” to grow food. Congratulations on getting started with your garden!!! We love container gardening - that’s how we started too. Thank you following us on our journey and happy growing ❤️

I love everything about your presentations. Kira, the youngest generation, seemed reserved at first; then I watched her harvest those tomatoes and her enthusiasm shined through! I love it! I thought mom, K, was going to take the lead, and she does; she is not just filming.
Kira, You must be a born teacher. The manner in which you teach within your videos gives you credence. Since I am a novice gardener, I appreciate your confidence in delivery. Your voice is nice. Your hair is gorgeous, and your humor and wisdom of gardening is shining through; when did you begin gardening?
I love your name, Woke Remnant, and I love that you are giving two perspectives on each subject. It is like singing in two-part harmony. I love your mission, plant to live.

My hubby and I are gardening for the first time, spring 2024, in central Georgia. I have two grown daughters and a grown son. I truly love and can relate to your video content. Keep up the great work.

Upon reading this comment, both of us were BLOWN AWAY!!! I, Kira, am a little reserved, but when I get comfortable, my enthusiasm shines through. Both my mom and I love to alternate taking the lead to give an intergenerational point of view. Thank you so much for the compliments as well - we both not only created the channel to inform, inspire, and relate to others, but to also grow as individuals, so receiving your compliments really confirms that I/we are on the right path! We both began seriously gardening in the spring of 2022 and will definitely be continuing for the rest of our days -- nothing better than homegrown! My grandmother loves it too lol.
