You're absolutely right, Spencer, about this service being an add-on bonus. You're the perfect man for the job--you know roofs like the back of your hand and you have the equipment to make it happen. Brilliant endeavour to branch out, yet again, with the services you have to offer. Cheers! Darryl
Spencer man you gotta charge more! Also, I would order commercial grade supplies. Much brighter and will give you the Confidence when charging premium price is knowing that you supply the best of the best equipment. Down in Portland I’m charging eight to $10 a foot. That job would’ve been well over two grand
Seriously bro! ... I'm on the lower end at $5/ ft (+tax) and use only commercial grade. I would have still at least profited $1200. I used to be higher but too much cheap labor guys in my area who are really just pricing the business model right out of the market. Their quality of product and service sucks but then you gotta re-train the buyers into thinking about "getting what you pay for"; especially when the product is sub-par. Also, leasing program is the only way to go. Anyways, I still needed to come down a little in price but when I got into the business years ago, I would have cleared 2 grand on that job. I'm not doing houses without clearing a grand each though, so my pricing still closes deals. I wish I could still price mine over $6/ft.
Hey Spencer. I know this video is from last year but did you use all of the lights and supplies from the beginning of the video for that specific house? Just trying to get a ballpark idea of how much it’ll cost.
I’m not sure how insurance works on cleaning gutters, can you please help me or make a video about it? I don’t wanna go in someone’s roof without it. It’s like the only thing stopping me right now. Thanks!
I love it my friend. However, you are losing out on a lot of money. go after premium cliental and charge premium prices. I am at 10 -12 dollars a linear ft, so $3500 for that house you did. You get half upfront and half day of service. All charged on cc on file automatically.

Good info damn yeah! This wasn’t too hard of a job but yeah 1-2k would have been a lot nicer haha
You seem to have to confidence and all the skills to charge much more, easily a $1200-$2200 job right there
@@stillXpist Maybe so! We'll see next year haha

Do you tell the customer to sign some type of contract stating it’s only a lease?
Keep it up 🔥
We need longer videos ♥️
Will do! It got dark I ran out of time to film haha but checkout the podcast! Much more to come
Always good to see another Spence out here hustling.

It looks amazing man job well done 👌
It’s beautiful!!Love it!
Thank you! Yeah comes with a bit of practice but it’s not a bad gig!
How long does the average house take? If the money doesn’t match the time it’s not profitable. Seems like people forget to value their time sometimes.
Outfit is 🔥
Keep grinding man
Thanks
Am i crazy or did the video not actually explain? Like how do you sell this service? I cant find people who are interested.
FB ads my friend

Do you have a course on it?

Awesome video! when you are quoting a job at $500 is that only labor or are you including your light expenses too?
Most likely including the price of the lights and all the other costs
Nope that’s his profit
I wish you were in Utah they are trying to charge me almost 4000 dollars I’m pissed

do you use your own lights and keep them for next year or does your fee include the cost and customer keeps them?

This side hustle is only for Xmas
How much do you charge to take down??
Typically takedown is part of the initial cost. Shouldn’t take more than 3 mins to pull down the strands
500 bucks? I’m charging 850 for like 100 feet. I literally wouldn’t do a job of this for less than 800
Best way to get jobs?
@@tecsukeHe wouldn’t answer that
@@tecsukeEverything works. Google, Facebook, sign, door hanger, door knocking
That's cute. We do $5,000 by 10 AM and others make more than that.
and....
So who pays for the products like lights, clippers etc you or the client
Customer 😅
@@jollyranch1026
Huh?
So you come back at the end of the season and take them down but the customer gets to keep the lights? Or do you take the lights?
@@msladyk81I'm looking for the same info. seems like none of these videos explain that
WEAR A SANTA HAT!
Gotta charge more. $8-$12 per foot. Don’t undercut the comp my boy
I will pay you 6k A week just to say you did it
ok
Prices are way too low, I do $5000+ a day with me and one helper…
