This is the most complete video I've seen and matched up pretty well with my own experience. Wish I could add a 1000 likes to bump it up in the queue. It would have saved me a whole lot of time to have seen this before I did my own install.

Good video, I'm getting ready to install a Alpine radio in my 2014 F150 in the next few days and I learned some things by watching your video. I'm also gong to install a rear camera. 👍👍
I've install a pioneer backup camera in the Ford Logo on my tailgate. Cost me the camera (about $40) instead of replacing the whole tailgate handle for one with built in camera or buying the Ford logo with built in camera. I've saved couple of buck there. I should post the video on how I did it on July 16th. (still editing) so if you want to save some money on your backup camera installation just wait 2 weeks the time I post my backup camera installation video.
And on July 23rd I will release the video about how to retain the factory USB using a $2 adapter from Monoprice web store

Can you spice an rca to rear cam wiring from cambus / head unit. To retain factory rear cam. I saw something in regards to my question. The spiced rca would come from rear RCA in...
very nice video. I've done installs on other vehicles but not when there was a separate factory display screen that will remain in place. Did you do anything with the original aux input jack? It also looks like you retained some of the display info on the factory display screen above the radio. I can see the temp reading is still there. Most people seem to lose that when they swap out the factory radio. I can't make out what else is still showing up. Some have shown that "built ford tough" is "stuck" on that screen and that's all they ever see.
That small screen at the top when out on my F-150. Does anyone know the name of that screen so I can try and replace it?
Why do I need such an expensive wiring harness? Why can’t I use the simple one ?
Ask Ford... Your truck will juste not work properly if you remove the head unit.... the harness compansate the missing head unit.
What fuse in the fuse box?

For the factory sub wires can a aftermarket sub be installed there too?
With the pac harness there is a connection for an aftetmarket sub but i am not sur how to disable the factory sub and connect an aftermarket one
Dude, I need serious help, will not installing steering wheel control adapter cause truck not to start?
The adapter is doing much more than alowing steering control. It manage part of the brain of the truck so yes it csn take the truck from starting
What Pioneer unit are you using ?
I am using the Pioneer AVH-X2800BS. It is an old unit but it works well and it meet my needs.
What about not getting sound
Did you end up cutting the top tabs of the face plate?
No I ain't cut it.
Does this wiring harness work with the microphones already in the truck for talking on the phone?
No. The after marquet radio do not use the same system as the Ford radio there for, you need to use the microphone that come with your aftermarket radio.

I hoden the wire it the sealing and installed the mic on the right side of the sunvisor
What year F-150 is it? I’m trying to do this on my 2016 F-150
This is a 2013. 09-14 is one model. It change in 2015

Why do you need a factory USB adapter
Because in my case the usb port of my radio is in the back of the radio so the option are, having a usb cable in the glove box or retaining the factory usb port. Beside having a non-fonctional usb port in the dash seems like a nonsense to me.

How did you put the logo on?
It is a background picture. My pioneer allow me to change the background.
Does the voice command still function?
No. The voice command is part of the radio. But if you install an aftermarket radio which has voice command than it will work. Mine just don't have the feature
