- The Goethals Bridge is a dual-span cable-stayed bridge carrying I-278 across the Arthur Kill between Elizabeth, NJ and Staten Island, NY. This signature span opened to traffic in 2018 and replaced an old bridge of the same name built in 1928.

That is a really nice makeover of the Goethals Bridge.
Its amazing how fast they build things !
Wow the upgraded Goethals Bridge looks AMAZING! Wish I could have traveled across that one at least once. I went over the bridge when it was older & looked like the Outerbridge. lol...
Looks just like the Tappan zee bridge
How much you want to bet that by the year 2045, it will cost at least 45 dollars to cross that bridge for a normal passenger car.
