The fact that I got to kick the footy with Jason when he came to my local primary school in the mid-2000’s, when no other classmate would partner up with me, is so amazing to me, and I can look back 20 years later, and be proud of something so fantastic, and have it locked deep in my memory for this long. Jason, if you see this, thank you for making my childhood so incredible. I can’t believe I remember all this after such a long time. The things I would give to meet you again and thank you for everything and maybe even kick the footy again, like we did that day. ❤️🙏 You are seriously one of the best, mate.

@@jdg2921 Honestly one of the greatest ever. Amazing skills and phenomenal endurance, he wrecked taggers by running them into the ground. Blackie wasn't as flashy as Akermanis (also an all-time great) but consistently very effective. He does have the Norm Smith medal that Aker probably should have won though....
Oh man as a Bombers fan I absolutely HATED the Brisbane Lions & Aker for beating us in the 01 Grand final!!! I fell out of love with AFL from about 04-05, and recently been watching it again, now living in Brissy all these years later, I appreciate what they've done for AFL footy in Brisbane. On ya Aker 👏

Jacob Robinson ablett was just very crafty and nimble, Judd would smoke both of them. Judd went head to head with Aker in 2006 and Judd got 39 touches and 4 goals. He couldn’t keep up with Judd

Perhaps naturally talented but no strength or character. Stephanie Rice displayed more grit and determination than this fella wanting to continue on the SAS show with a dislocated shoulder whilst this fella lied about a sore toe.
