Have stayed at both the Majestic and Mirage. The fact that we were able to stroll around all 3 sister resorts was a big plus.
The grounds are always impeccable. Highly recommended.

Thank you for this is accurate and enlightening video! Looking to head that way next spring we will be first timers at the Majestic properties, and we are definitely looking forward to embracing most of the amenities… because I would need to be there for 10 days or so to enjoy everything! But six days will have to do. My fiancé is more of a couch potato, but hopefully all of the activities will encourage him to spend time outside of the bedroom suite.!🥳

another good video very informative early in your video u were saying how tropical it looks and feels...im canadain and i love punta cana compared to cuba....more tropical as u say and the food is sooo much better,,...i heard the workers are getting desperate in cuba as in maybe some thefts and sorts.. :{

You are welcome! We have never been to Cuba (The US still has a ban on us going there!), but have been to all-inclusive resorts in Mexico, and Punta Cana resorts are so much better for the same reasons you mentioned compared to Cuba. And after staying at the Mirage twice and the Colonial, the Elegance is the best value. Hope you have a great trip. You will get to see the new rooms! Our restaurant review comes out this Friday. You were there at a good time, not many people, sometimes that makes it easier to film. How do they keep rain out of the piano bar area, i saw no windows. Such a nice tour and a beautiful resort. Thanks for sharing, we hope ypu guys had a great time 😊
Hey guys! Yes we had an awesome time....the Majestic Resorts are our favorite! To keep the rain out they have huge shades that come down from the roof to cover the openings when needed. The odd thing is that with large open windows you would think lots of flying bugs would be around the bars and lobby, but there are NONE! Thanks for watching and have a great rest of your week. Great review! Did you happen to notice if there was elevator access up to the Sunrise Lounge? I am bringing my mom here for a vacation and she is elderly and has arthritis in her hip, so I think those stairs would be too much for her. Looks like a great place to sit and take a little break out of the heat.
Hey, glad that you enjoyed it! Yes, you can access the sunrise lounge from the building side and there's an elevator in the building. Beautiful. If you fly in early where do you put your bags until check in? And can you walk around while your waiting?
If you arrive early they will hold your bags. And yes you can walk around the resort while you're waiting and even I think get something to eat. The Majestic resorts always seem to be trying to make your stay the best. That's what we found. Thanks for watching and thanks for leaving a comment!

Thank you for this very informative video. Hopefully the renovations will be done by the time we go 2nd week of December. We did book the Club for the extra perks. We won’t be arriving to the resort till around midnight. Hopefully we have food. They have 24 hour room service right?
Thats great! You should be one of the first to stay in the new rooms! Yes, they have 24 hr room service and over at the Carribean street the Sports Club has fast food and is open all night until 6 am! If staying at mirage can we find at the other resorts restaurants , go to their beaches and pools?
As far as I know, the only thing you can go to is the kids splash pool over at the colonial ....the casino at the colonial... and the marketplace at the colonial. They definitely don't allow you to go to the other resorts, restaurants, and bars and they probably don't like people using other people's pools and beach, but I'm not sure how they would catch you. We found that the mirage had the better liquor and food so we didn't feel the need to go over to any of their other resorts. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and thanks for leaving a question!
We will be going in May. My sisters are worried about the huge amount of people getting sick in PC recently. What was your experience with the food, water safety etc?
So this is what we do and we have never had an issue with illness while we're in Punta Cana. Don't drink the water in your room and even use bottled water when brushing your teeth. Don't eat any food like salads that are not cooked. If you eat fruit only eat the inside of the fruit. Everything we eat has to be cooked. In the restaurants they filter the water. So it's okay to drink the water they give you in a glass, but to be extra safe you can ask for bottled water in the restaurants too. Now check with your doctor to make sure it's okay to take this but we take two Pepto-Bismol tablets in the morning and two Pepto-Bismol tablets at night cuz that's been shown to reduce the risk of travelers diarrhea. Also, since everything's included, there's a tendency to over drink and overeat and too much food and drink will definitely make you sick too! Have a great time. Does each of the three resorts have separate theaters or do they share one? If you’re staying at elegance, can you use any amenities/go to the restaurants at the mirage?
Hello, each of the three majestic resorts has their own theater. You can only go to the restaurants at the resort that you're staying at. So if you're at the elegance you can only eat at the elegance. However, there's an area called the Caribbean Street that has a casino, a sports bar, and a late night snack place. It's located between the elegance and the colonial. That area is shared by all three of the resorts so you can go over there anytime you like for a late night snack or to get something in the sports bar. Hope that helps. Not silly at all! All the adults only club perks come when you book a room that states 18+ Adults only!

First time to the Elegance. In January we went to their sister resort next door, the Mirage. For the price and service, Punta Cana is the best value in the Carribean. No problem, we like to help so ask away! Yes, still recommend it...we feel it is the best of their 3 resorts. You fly into Punta Cana Airport (PUJ) and we have used Diamond Transportation to get us to and from the airport. If you look in the description box above there is a link. If you want to be in the adults only section, get a club room. You are on the right side of the resort (facing the ocean), have an Adult only pool, and have adult lounges. You can still go over to the main area pool for activities if you want. Also, when you arrive at the Punta Cana airport walk outside and just ask anyone where the Diamond Transport is since its very busy in arrivals. Good luck! Hope she likes it!
Do you anyone know if the
“elegance Club” have top shelf liquor?
What we noticed is that they will have some of the better spirits on the shelf but you have to ask for them or they will make your drink with the no name stuff. We are taking our daughter so cannot book the club side. Do we get to use any of the large beds on the beach? Do we have any places for snack food like you? Are there any water sports included? What did your room look like? Thanks for sharing!
Hey hello, if I remember correctly, most of large beds on the beach were for the club but there may have been some for the non-cloud members too. To be honest, I didn't see anyone checking to see if you're club or non club on the beach. I remember seeing in the family building an amenities room like in the club buildings, but I didn't look inside to see what they had there to offer as far as snacks. For everyone at the resort, club and non-club, all non-motorized water sports are included!! Check some of our other videos on the majestic elegance and you'll see what the rooms look like. Hello, right between the elegance and the colonial is an area called the Caribbean village. It's a shared area for all three of their resorts and there you'll find a casino and also a sports bar which has if I remember correctly pool tables but maybe not ping pong. Hope that helps. How was the food?

What about mosquitos?
Funny thing...we have been to Punta Cana a few times and have never seen a Mosquito! We always pack repellant (wipes) but never need to use it. However, I have heard that if you go off the resort and into the areas that are away from the ocean mosquitos may be an issue! Thanks for watching and for asking a question!
How do you become Club Member?
Easy...just book one of their Club Adult only rooms. When looking at the rooms pick those that have club and/or 18+ in the title of the room.

Otherwise in the past we have booked directly with them through their web site. Once we even did their flight/stay package and it was less expensive than booking the room and flight separately.
