Brittany doesn’t like new Taylor because it’s a 33 year old adult writing about 33 year old adult problems. She’s fine with old Taylor because she was a sixteen year old writing about sixteen year old problems. So much of the content Christian influencers recommend seems to be infantilizing them.
Probably also has to do with Taylor Swift now being more vocal about encouraging voting and being a feminist. Edit to add: There's a clip of Taylor talking about wanting to encourage more people to vote because she saw how Trump's presidency affected women's rights and LGBTQ rights.
@@AirConditioner402That and she is an incredibly influential, successful 30+ career woman who has not settled down and had kids, is not married and broke up with her last long time boyfriend, while looking like the ideal white Christian woman. With some many girls and woman looking up to a woman to doesn't defer to a man or stay in her lane, it's no surprise they are mad at her.
I'm not a christian anymore, but i used to be a hardcore one. And the bible says variations of "do not fear" over 300 times. And BD is absolutely terrified of EVERYTHING. If her faith is so weak that it can be rocked with literally anything in the real world, is it even faith at all?
As a Christian I agree with this. There seems to be a group of self professing Christian’s that are highly superstitious of EVERYTHING! It drives me insane! They’re always afraid of something. Making the wrong move, saying TV e won’t thing “opening doors for Satan”. Uhm aren’t we more than conquerors through christ?? (Speaking as a Christian myself lol) this kind of Christian content gives me second hand embarrassment
The fact that Brittany Dawn is aware that she has an addictive personality and yet doesn’t realize she’s addicted to her religion is just pure irony. She’s right, she’s a very hot or cold person. There can’t possibly be a better choice than the one she’s addicted to, and everything contradicting it just doesn’t get it. Wait until she gets in an MLM, then things will get really spicy.
I grew up amish . In my community , no amish person had a phone where they could listen to music . And yet alot of th community still struggled with lust , porn, depression etc. Them blaming it on music Is actually th silliest thing I've heard an adult say. 😂 I bet some people who struggled with things in tht nature , wish it were as easy as shutting off and blaming it on secular music.
I'm so with you! You can't sit there and act like anyone who isn't Christian (or any derivative) is automatically bad and everything they do is of Satan meanwhile you have Christians doing the same exact thing and people will ne so quick to forgive them or brush things under the rug. Like you mean to tell me a Christian who has raped or killed is holier than a non-Christian who gives to the needy and lives a fairly decent and positive life?
I’m a Christian and love all music. Yes, even rap. I’ve never felt the urge to do any of the things in song lyrics or even live the lifestyle of a rock musician. it irks me when people blame music.
@@1goofymommy its an easy excuse for them. im atheist and i have no desire to do what rap music talks about in their lyrics. there's no personal accountability for people who think music is satan
They seem incredibly naive. I was SHOCKED they had any kind of different existence or identity before becoming a couple. It feels like this crap has always been their life. Lol
These people do not know how to present ideas with complete thoughts. I don’t think they learned how to do basic research and present organized thoughts, yet they are so full of judgmental opinions. They can’t back up their opinions. These communication skills are learned in basic secondary education. They are so frustrating to listen to. I do so appreciate you videos B. You know how to think, research and use your heart.❤
I am angry that she’s now casually claiming that she’s an alcoholic. I’m also angry that she claims to completely denounce these artists and their songs yet she consistently uses them as sounds on her instagram and tik toks !! Is this real life
I understand that this is a Christian basest channel but it irks the crap out of me that they just think everyone should align with their worldview. I’m not a Christian but I watch your show for your takes and you very much approach it an unbiased manner.
She's great! And I'm not at all a Christian either, but I have so much respect for B. If these people really wanted to reach people ("non-believers"), THIS should be their approach. But they are more concerned with being morally superior and running their judgemental mouths and it instantly turns most people completely OFF.
Because she represents some of the normal Christians out there. The ones that live life not being a jackass and trying to do something positive and worthwhile.
I am a follower of Christ and appreciate this channel not only for the information shared, but the style and kindness B uses. I come from a fundie background so was also indoctrinated in the hateful approach we see in P&M and BDawn, and appreciate the example of B as I continue to learn how to better communicate with people with fundie mindsets. With so many people claiming to be Christians buts spouting hate like these 3, I’m thankful that B is a great example of actually being loving. Not to mention Biblically literate.
If some one doesnt believe what some "preachers" say then dont follow it. We have free Will....if God doesn't make us believers then no human should....but i dont like people critiquing the fact that some people have some believes and justo because they want to spread the word that doesn't mean they áre Makin you be christian
B is one of the few christian creators who I can even watch, because she's so sensible about it. It says a lot about what so many christian creators do when it's commendable that one of them isn't rabidly pushing their beliefs on others.
I literally laughed out loud when Morgan said "we better check ourselves" if we find ourselves being "holier than thou" and Brittany agreeing, because isn't being holier than thou exactly what Paul + Morgan and Brittany use their platforms to do?
As a Christian I can say I’ve never once felt lustful or anxious when listening to music and I listen to wu-tang every day on the way to work. Like you gotta be some sort of delusional if you think music and movies can effect your faith THAT much
I know right? Girl! How about researching something (by looking it up from a reputable source....not conspiracy theory rabbit holes) for once in your life.
I went to church for the first 30 years of my life and never once heard about Lucifer being a choir director 😂 you learn something new every day. This whole convo about music with no evidence to back up why certain song and artists are “bad” cracks me up.
There’s no Scriptural evidence whatsoever to back up the claim that Satan was in charge of the worship in heaven. It just goes to show how truly Biblically illiterate they all are.
Lmao yeah raised as a fundie left the "church" & religion at 17, spent my entire childhood in church nvr fucking heard that 😂 learned something I guess .. honestly just makes me like lucifer 💀
Yeah, modern researchers discovered the truth. God was embarrassed that Lucifer used to be his choir director, so he hid the paperwork for centuries. Researchers made a heavenly FOIA request and eventually the bureaucrats up there sent the contract Lucifer signed. If you read the right scholarly journals, they reprinted Lucifer's employment contract in full. So there's no doubt - it really happened.
13:17 I went and checked the etymology of the word "entertainment", something Brittany should really have done before she got into this. It's Brittany so I'm not surprised, but whatever else we may think of her, she's not stupid. Shrewd? Clearly not. But not stupid. Etymology is a true interest of mine. I love to know the origin of words. It bothers me so much when people use modern English and their assumptions to "break down" what a word means. FTR: entertainment (n.) 1530s, "provision for support of a retainer; manner of social behavior," now obsolete, along with other 16c. senses; from entertain + -ment. Meaning "the amusement of someone" is from 1610s; sense of "that which entertains" is from 1650s; that of "public performance or display meant to amuse" is from 1727. Entertain (v.) late 15c., "to keep up, maintain, to keep (someone) in a certain frame of mind," from Old French entretenir "hold together, stick together, support" (12c.), from entre- "among" (from Latin inter) + tenir "to hold" (from Latin tenere, from PIE root "-ten" "to stretch"). Sense of "have a guest" is late 15c.; that of "gratify, amuse" is 1620s. Meaning "to allow (something) to consideration, take into the mind" (of opinions, notions, etc.) is 1610s. Source: etymonline. I am a pedantic bish. I blame the ADHD. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Paul + Morgan and Brittany Dawn are bad enough on their own, but together... oof. Edit: someone please tell Brittany that "saying words over yourself" is a form of witchcraft.
@@Tijggie82 It means to deliberately say positive and, in this case, Biblical things so that your life will then follow them - like looking in the mirror and saying “I am fearfully and wonderfully made” or “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. Like affirmations, and believing if you speak it, it will happen
I would get severely depressed if I had to listen to these self proclaimed Christian "experts". Rules, restrictions, fear, guilt, there's nothing else. No joy, no happiness, nothing positive. But boy are they proud of themselves.
The whole time I’m listening to them I just want to scream “EXAMPLES PLEASE.” They are so vague about everything. How are they ministering to anyone when they can’t even say specific examples of what they are trying to condemn
1. Imagine having to listen to a Brittany Dawn hip hop Christian playlist while you work out. 2. I can't picture her or I can actually but picturing her reading through the lyrics of 300 different songs is fucking hilarious
I don't know what's up with these christians always saying that songs are demonic. Songs are full of metaphors, just like the bible. When the bible said a snake talked to Eden and tempted her, do they mean a literal snake? Snakes don't talk. When Billie said 'All the good girls go to hell', she obviously doesn't mean it literally. She's not talking about literal angels and devils, but these christians wanna take it literally in other context outside of the church somehow...
B's side-eye when Brittany started mentioning sleep paralysis and mental health made my WEEK. Like yeah Brittany, obviously stopping listening to boygenius will definitely cure my depression that I was diagnosed with when I was 12. 😂😂❤
I love when you pause and make faces and head tilts. Because i catch myself doing the same exasperated faces at the exact same moments. Its like an echo. 😂😂
Remember that one time when Morgan said her personal ratio for Christian vs secular music was about 50/50 and Paul looked at the camera and said, “don’t worry guys I’ll work on her and get her to 60/40”🤮
I like how she’s upset that celebrities aren’t “standing up for there faith” (43:19) but they dash or doubt the celebrities that do 🤦🏻♀️ they just keep moving the goal post, no one is ever gonna be good enough for these kinds of people not even their own partners and children
I wonder if Brittany's obsession with demons is related to her sleep paralysis? As someone who's experienced sleep-related hallucinations and grown up Christian, I can definitely understand that. Therapy, talking to a doctor, taking medicine, and making some lifestyle changes can help
I love your win for the week! Music can evoke so many emotions. I grew up in a very musically obsessed (secular) family and I’ve found that I have different playlists for different moods/events. I have one for falling asleep, working out or cleaning, to relax, for cheering up. I’m excited you’re expanding your taste in music
I’m really trying!! I’d love to have different playlists I can put on like that to fall asleep but I get so picky I feel like it would just keep me up because I’d be skipping every other song even if I was the one to include it on the playlist 🤦🏻♀️
Me too! I love music! It helps me. like you, cleaning music, sleeping, car rides etc. If I’m sad, I absolutely can not handle any slow music. in fact, i can’t handle any slow music until bedtime. lol
Because in this season God approves of her using secular music to reach a larger audience. Didn't you know those who are called to social media evangelism after a major scandal are given special rules and a love of the color beige??
I'm not a Christian, but i really love your content. I think my win for the week is finding a Christian youtuber who brings so much grace and respect to the platform
As someone diagnosed with moderate to severe depression and a musician, music has only done positive things to keep me alive and going. I write many dark songs just to help me process as pursue healing. As a child, the idea that music could be harmful was damaging. I forgot it was a thing until hearing this. Really glad to be distant from that mindset.
Oooph. Years ago, this conversation would have given me soooo much anxiety. And you know why "secular" music gave me anxiety? Because I was always worried I was listening to the "wrong" thing. Constantly policing yourself is exhausting.
I grew up Christian. Still consider myself Christian but have largely walked away from organized religion because of the arrogance and hypocrisy of people like these three. The fear mongering and shaming is extreme and I always end up wondering how their faith can be so weak that they have to control themselves and others so tightly.
"20yrs ago it wasn't as bad as today" Eccl 1:9 we read, "... there is nothing new under the sun". I've been speaking aloud my strong reactions to much of what's been said by Brittany Dawn, Paul, and Morgan. On a 1 to 10 stress scale, I'd register about a 4 rn 😊 So it seems a good time for my happy thought. My wonderful husband and I were able to attend the rl wedding of an ingame friend we met 18 yrs ago. The forest setting was so beautiful on the grounds of a mansion. The flowers, the music, the food all deserve a chef's kiss!
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOUR COMMENTARY ON THIS. I just started your video but I listened to the podcast and it felt like Brittany was trying to impress them by agreeing with them on everything. Just my take. Also side note: I bet Brittany was secretly sad she didn't go to the Eras tour lol
Oh for sure. If she was milking another niche she would have definitely gone and linked 17 pairs of rhinestoned cowboy boots from Amazon for outfit inspo leading up to the show 😂
It’s wild how much fear they have with everything in life . 🤦♀️ I feel sad for them because they will miss out on amazing things that are in this world.
Interested to hear your thoughts on this - not a crossover I was expecting, but maybe I should’ve seen it coming! My win for the week: I recovered from my first time having COVID!
Covid is so different from person to person. I was relatively fine when I got it, except from a big headache for a day and a mild fever for a few hours. My partner got it like a shovel in the face; 5 days of intense fever and tiredness, then a headache. Our kids were totaly fine, one had a mild fever for a night (took a tylenol and slept like a baby), the other had litteraly no symptoms except a positive test 😮
The fact is dichotomous thinking is very dangerous. Black or white, hot or cold…it’s not reality. The wiser you become, the more you experience life, the more you grow from uncomfortable situations…you learn that the world is very much gray. In fact, the more I educate myself on the topics of war and religion and health, etc the more I realize how nuanced life is. I’m going to keep my beats of Childish Gambino and Taylor Swift and Oasis, and continue to be kind and caring.
Oh man, this is gonna be a hot mess 😂 I’m waiting for her to discover popular rock/metal bands like Twin Temple, Behemoth and Cannibal Corpse and see her brain absolutely explode because of DeMoNs!!! Absolutely NOTHING Brittany was listening prior to her convictions and encouraging her followers to be afraid of is satanic. Doja Cat and Taylor Swift is not making demonic music. It baffles me the things she really believes. If Satan is real he has far better things to do than “win over souls for hell” through a song. Her faith must be so weak if she is opening her soul to the devil all because of a Taylor Swift song. Her anxiety and lust isn’t a satan problem its a Brittany Dawn problem. I think what all of these fundies/evangelicals forget about and what makes them impossible to relate to is that there is more to the human experience than just your identity as a Christian. They fail to see that a lot of secular music is layered in a lot of metaphor and figurative language. Secular music tackles the many layers of what life is that worship music just doesn’t. Sure, worship music can help when you are going through difficult things, but at a certain point when you have exhausted yourself praying and praising and things still don’t get better, the only thing that does help you feel better is listening to a fast paced song about arson or something “dEmOnIc”. ~~~ My win for the week was enjoying a hearty homemade stew and feeling like a cottagecore icon.
It's really super weird having read about and watched a lot about the metal Satanic panic in the 80s and 90s, to see that same logic getting applied to pop and hip-hop. Meanwhile metal bands are still putting out music way heavier than any of those bands who ended up in Christian crosshairs previously, but nobody really cares except the fans. XD
I find it extremely interesting that suddenly Paul is against Twilight, when fairly recently Morgan posted about the series being her "comfort movie". Just feels like yet another thing she really likes that Paul is pushing her away from (her music career, the dog he made her get rid of, etc). That, or its just more "rules for thee but not for me"
@@maryasenlin5916 They have gotten rid of TWO dogs at this point. The first was Morgan's only, she had it when she started dating Paul. Apparently he didn't like how much Morgan loved the dog, and it was rehomed soon after. Then there was Squishy, which they had as a married couple, but dumped as soon as their kid was born.
I’m sitting here in my TS Speak Now cardigan and eating popcorn and listening to my favorite YTer….life is good and I’m just sinning all over the place!
I have so many thoughts....hopefully I can condense them down to just a couple. My first critisism is that the 3 of them sound like they been kidnapped and been forced to make a generic christian podcast and their lives depend on it. It's crazy how non-specific nearly everything they say is. The other thing I've noticed about all 3 of them is how obsessed they are with restriction and ritual. It's so disordered and unhealthy. Ok one more thing; it's WILD to me that BD and Porgan can listen to Taylor Swift, Doja Cat, etc. to 'see how demonic it is', but the ONLY reason someone else would listen to it is because they're sinning. The lack of awareness is astounding. What a myopic way to live in the world.
If your faith in something is so weak you can't be trusted to hear music, wear certain clothing, Interact with different types of people, how powerful is your religious conviction again?
I really appreciate what you said about how disrespectful it is for Brittany to be making the assertion that her depression and anxiety was caused by music. People with these diagnosis' deal with so many dismissive and frankly cruel statements like this all the time, and it is nice to hear you call them out and feel supported
I've just started listening, but is she ever going to take a breath and let them talk? My win for the week is I've started counseling after years of putting it off!
When I listen to people talk about music and things like this, I am always baffled at how little ability to control their emotions they seem to suggest they have. Like I don’t think I have ever felt “lustful” casually coming across a sexual scene in a show or movie. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to a song and had some extreme change in mindset. I agree that if you’re sad, sad music is going to feel different. But hearing a sad song won’t make me sad. I just can’t imagine living like I’m so out of control of myself. I feel like it would be such an anxiety filled experience to be so on guard all the time
More like a pre-win for the week, but I'm going on a trip this Sunday. First vacation in a while!! A few things that stood out to me, are 1)That while they do mention Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez, whenever they talk about music being bad they bring up Rap and Hip-Hop more than any other genre, you would think they'd talk about metal or something, but they never do, 2) For people that talk about how self absorbed everybody else is, they all seem to think very highly of themselves, it almost felt like Morgan was being condescending whenever she'd laugh at Brittany mentioning that she used to like Taylor Swift (it could be nerves, but still), and 3) As someone who has experienced Sleep Paralysis and has dealt with depression, the idea that two people who don't really seem to believe in psychology are going around saying mainstream music is the cause is kind of concerning. Personally music usually improves my mood and plenty of people find it therapeutic.
I think as a Christian it’s more important to speak about how we spend our time glorifying God, you can go to concerts and watch movies and such but we spend a lot of time nitpicking when we should be spending time serving others and being the light we are called to be. I agree with what you said God is more powerful than anything we do we may have consequences but God still covers us in ways we can never truly understand ❤ our world should be filled with God honoring activities and things as the first commandment is to love him with all out hearts and minds and souls and strength so that would mean in everything He is at the forefront of our daily lives… this doesn’t mean we can’t do things for ourselves but we do need to analyze our intentions behind certain actions and things we do it’s a lot of reflection and prayer to be given opportunities to point people to God, God maybe using you in certain areas to bring people to himself so you going to TS concerts may be just putting you in a situation to be the good samaritan who knows but in whatever we do we should be actively looking for ways to serve and point people to the love of God through our actions ❤
I didn’t check through your 300+ comments. Apologies if someone already made this point. Having studied etymology in university, “entertainment” comes from the old French ”entretenir” meaning “hold together or support”. It was associated with hospitality. It has nothing whatsoever about entering you… If anything, I would argue that entertainment can be a support during hard times or bolster the good.
It’s interesting how Paul often peacock feathers and claims he’s “just being honest as a Christian” when he is cruel and hateful to people who have different views of morality than he does. But then when he’s here and clearly stated he disagreed with BDawn about people being possessed at the Taylor Swift concert, he’s silent. I guess his “integrity for speaking the truth” doesn’t apply when he’s trying to leverage an influencer with a larger platform to get some more follows and money
43:28 Eye gates and ear gates = thought-stopping. That's a classic cult behavior. I am not calling Brittany's denomination a cult -- maybe cultish, but not a cult. However, girl... Speaking of thought control, Brittany seems to spend far more time concentrating on The Enemy and demons than God and as you say, God is all-powerful and can protect you from anything. Are you doubting your faith/God Brittany?
win for the week! a good friend of mine is visiting from out of town. We hung out with her family, played trivia, and are going to see the taylor swift movie. I know she's a friend I will have for my whole life, and I'm so grateful for her and our friendship
I can’t stand that Brittany says “yes, that’s so good!” to basically everything her guests say. It’s meaningless and if I were a guest I wouldn’t feel very valued! Thanks B for enduring these episodes for us 😂
Ma’am anxiety and depression isn’t caused by music 😂 But it isn’t a persons job to say who is and who isn’t a Christian. That is gods job. It’s not their right to judge people based on “how Christian” someone is.
“Of course Satan is going to use those same tactics because he can’t come up with new ones.” If she thinks Satan is that dumb, why would she be threatened by him at all?
Brittany: I haven’t researched/seen/read/looked into “insert literally any topic she’s discussing here.” Also Brittany: In 2 days, I’m going to be doing an in depth, sit down video on this topic. I’m sorry, but what was THIS supposed to be then? *Please remember that influencers like Brittany Dawn are chameleons that will try to change into whatever they think will bring them views and money. Just because she “claims” to live a certain way and pretends she suddenly has access to divine information that other people don’t, does NOT mean she’s right. And it definitely doesn’t mean she’s actually living this lifestyle! We have enough pressure to live up to certain standards that we don’t need some random girl (with absolutely NO background, experience, education, etc.) to make us question if listening to the radio is a demonic gateway. If it makes you happy and doesn’t hurt anyone, then there’s literally nothing wrong with it. ❤ ❤❤
The irony of it all is that the same girl preaching all this and telling us that if we do/don't do x,y, z that we're being influenced by demons and going to hell yet just a few short years ago she was scamming thousands of dollars from people. Only once she got called out and sued did she become this evangelical Christian. I'm sure you already know all that but it made me feel better to type it out 😂
It's very telling how many times all three of them say "you know" because all they have is feelings and vibes and expect the audience to fill in the blanks with their own feelings and vibes, sharing little in the process.
My win for the week is that I'm downsizing a lot of things! My mother is a hoarder, so I've picked up on those tendencies, but I'm getting better every single time I decide to go through things. Very interesting that of all the topics to discuss, it's the one that Morgan has been shamed for. Obviously, I don't know if P&M had a say in the topic, but it feels extremely weird.
It feels like they want people to just stop being human. Like you said, not every aspect of your life functions as an act of worship. My biggest issue is that all of this comes from a place of judgement and for not even justifiable reasons. I really wonder what their intentions are. If they’re hoping to promote christianity this content is only going to do the opposite?Making people feel bad for listening to music? I’ve heard people say that music saved their life, I’d be shocked to hear someone say “music led me down a dark path”. Heck, even studies show that metal heads tend to be happier than others. I always really appreciate your insight. I feel like the Christianity you promote is rational, non divisive and not judgemental. So many Christians have strict ideas on what makes a person worthy and likable and it “others” so many people which is sad because it’s steering them away from living a life of love. I’d love to hear more takes from you on what you believe as a Christian and how you approach situations or live your life apart from reaction videos. I think that would be really nice! My win for the week: Being good at my job and getting feedback that validated that for me.
This makes me reflect and wonder how different my life mightve gone if I hadn't done outpatient therapy for anxiety disorder as a teenager. I learned all about avoidance behaviors and how avoiding everything doesn't make you less anxious, or more resilient, but quite the opposite. There's maybe nuance and room for cutting back on something, even music, if its making you feel worse. fine. But the level these people take it, it would easily make me an anxious wreck all the time if i were to follow their advice and always be wondering about what im listening to. I have enough, real world problems to focus on. And I want to be resilient. If something as benign as music is really hurting me that much, then i'm not resilient enough clearly. And I dont think ill ever stop viewing the world that way. That I'd rather be able to handle and face things.
My win for the week is finally feeling better after a bad tummy bug. Brittany and Porgan are a match made in hell. They are just sucking up to each other.
I wonder what Brittany would say to me who grew up in a very conservative Christian household where we only listened to secular music because contemporary worship music was considered to be to emotional/in your feelings for worship. I agree that individual people should use discernment and know their personal triggers when choosing music, but it's not helpful to make blanket statements. Also, I have generalized anxiety, and it's definitely not from listening to secular music.
I wonder if they believe that people can get overstimulated because that's what the Taylor Swift concert goers zoning out sounds like to me. I went to an open air performance of Beauty and the Beast this last summer. It was so much fun, I was super excited. However, I was in nice clothes, I was full from dinner, it was 90 degrees, my husband and I had taken a million photos, and I was soooo excited to see the play. I was so stimulated and so happy that I actually dissociated for the first half of the play, I don't remember it at all. During intermission, I got myself a water, splashed my face, and cooled down a little, so I was able to understand and enjoy the second half. It doesn't mean there was witchcraft or anything nefarious going on in the play, it just means that there was a lot going on and my brain kind of zoned out on me. The same happens with people on their wedding day. So many people are just so happy, going on adrenaline, there's a lot going on, and they forget half of it. My wedding felt like a whirlwind, even though I absolutely loved it. I wish Brittany would consider that before she tries to claim that people left the concert in a trance.
I have not watched your videos in a long time. I’ve been going through my own spiritual journey myself. I must say that sitting and listening to your thoughts is very healing for me as an ex Christian. Thank you for sharing such thought provoking videos.
Excellent commentary as always, B! My mouth dropped open in realization when you mentioned that they’re also trying to make money off of Taylor Swift and click baiting their titles on TH-cam. Such a good point. It’s gross to listen to how sickly sweet Paul is to Brittany in this podcast. He clearly admires the small amount of fame Brittany’s found in her forsaken corner of the internet, and is drooling over the idea of getting engagement from her fans. Yuck. Also I had no idea how hard Morgan was to listen to. I don’t know how you make it through listening to her nasally, baby-voice so often!
I also wonder how much our perceptions of their ages have to do with appearance too. Britt Britt is very put together, fake tan, lots of makeup and lashes, heeled boots, etc. Morgan is very no makeup makeup girl, and Paul looks and acts younger than he is. I'd be curious about their respective heights as well. Side note: Christians being sad that anyone is having feelings and/or fun is so very familiar to me, and as a Christian i think we need to stay away from that attitude! The Gospel is *supposed* to be about liberation, joy, gratitude, and mercy.
But Morgan has depression, right? No shade to her at all, but I think her talking about how she is super careful about what she listens to and she still has depression actually proves the opposite of the point she’s trying to make… you can be depressed if you listen to non Christian music and you can be depressed if you don’t.
She could listen to 432 Hz secular music, which is supposed to NOT make you feel as anxious (at least to me it does). There's a lot of 432 Hz versions of many songs here on TH-cam. Idk if they're on streaming services though but some indie artists go out of their way to purely produce music at a 432 frequency.
Paul and Morgan made a whole video on Taylor swift possibly being a witch. So, I knew where they were going. They really do not present their age. I agree, 100%! They like using her name as Clickbait to make people view their content. Also, trances happen all the time and so does disassociation. I am a therapist and it is known that when you drive home and forget that you drove, it’s because you have highway hypnosis. I can imagine something similar happening when you’re at a 3+ hour concert and really getting into the music.
As a non-religious person, hearing them literally demonize these musicians and music is just nonsensical to me. I think music is diverse and can connect people and experiences and uplift people. Music can also be used to feel less alone when struggling with something. But I do not believe secular music is going to cause a true Christian to falter- I'd imagine your beliefs are greater than that. Also their rules are so unclear. It's like "listen to this, not this, well maybe some of this but be careful, and cut it all out but choose only certain songs by certain artists. If you feel convicted to listen then listen but if not then don't." There is nothing useful for anyone to take away from the podcast other than the fact Brittany doesn't actually watch Paul and Morgan's videos lol
Just have to add one more thing....Do you wanna get wasted or drown in your own body?? Take a shot of something every time Brittany-grifter Dawn says "me" in this podcast.
Shes probably a closet Swifty and is just trying to sell the Christian image.
@@AirConditioner402That and she is an incredibly influential, successful 30+ career woman who has not settled down and had kids, is not married and broke up with her last long time boyfriend, while looking like the ideal white Christian woman. Look into how the Supreme Court changed during his presidency - do you live under a rock?
Our Lady of Perpetual Fear and High Priestess of Panic, Brittany Dawn
I like that even more than what I said 😂
Omg 😂😂😂
I'm not a christian anymore, but i used to be a hardcore one. And the bible says variations of "do not fear" over 300 times. And BD is absolutely terrified of EVERYTHING. If her faith is so weak that it can be rocked with literally anything in the real world, is it even faith at all?
It’s fear.
"O ye of little faith"
-that's what came to mind as I read your comment. Sums BD up pretty well.
She is in a makeup MLM already, or has been LOL

Paul & Morgan have very teenage seeming content and personalities.
They seem incredibly naive. I was SHOCKED they had any kind of different existence or identity before becoming a couple. It feels like this crap has always been their life. Lol
Paul creeps me out. No 34 year old man should act like he does.
They really do, very immature and uneducated adults
These people do not know how to present ideas with complete thoughts. I don’t think they learned how to do basic research and present organized thoughts, yet they are so full of judgmental opinions. They can’t back up their opinions. These communication skills are learned in basic secondary education. They are so frustrating to listen to. I do so appreciate you videos B. You know how to think, research and use your heart.❤
It still kinda makes me laugh that they seem to think that Twilight is spicy.
I am angry that she’s now casually claiming that she’s an alcoholic. I’m also angry that she claims to completely denounce these artists and their songs yet she consistently uses them as sounds on her instagram and tik toks !! Is this real life
I hate her profiting off these songs she thinks are so evil.
The whole premise of Christianity is to be "holier than thou" 😅
As a Christian I can say I’ve never once felt lustful or anxious when listening to music and I listen to wu-tang every day on the way to work. Like you gotta be some sort of delusional if you think music and movies can effect your faith THAT much
90s rnb is my favorite. And it's never made me act unmoral. Lol
Correct
Aint no way she just said hip hop and rap caused her sleep paralysis
I crackled when I heard that.
😂
The sleep paralysis demons were vibing too hard to hip hop 😔🤘
As a narcoleptic, I can promise you that sleep paralysis is not demons - you may see demons during it but it's hypocretin out of balance in the brain
Possibly because it is a very strange reading of the Bible and interlinking various vague texts.
I had heard that and I read the verses. The verses where they claim say that. I can't see where they say that
Yeah, modern researchers discovered the truth.

I went and checked the etymology of the word "entertainment", something Brittany should really have done before she got into this.
FTR:
entertainment (n.)
1530s, "provision for support of a retainer; manner of social behavior," now obsolete, along with other 16c. senses; from entertain + -ment. Meaning "the amusement of someone" is from 1610s; sense of "that which entertains" is from 1650s; that of "public performance or display meant to amuse" is from 1727.
Entertain (v.)
late 15c., "to keep up, maintain, to keep (someone) in a certain frame of mind," from Old French entretenir "hold together, stick together, support" (12c.), from entre- "among" (from Latin inter) + tenir "to hold" (from Latin tenere, from PIE root "-ten" "to stretch").
Sense of "have a guest" is late 15c.; that of "gratify, amuse" is 1620s. Meaning "to allow (something) to consideration, take into the mind" (of opinions, notions, etc.) is 1610s.

Yes!
The whole time I’m listening to them I just want to scream “EXAMPLES PLEASE.” They are so vague about everything. How are they ministering to anyone when they can’t even say specific examples of what they are trying to condemn
Ugh yes! They talk in circles and don't specify what is actually wrong.

“Cant have her finding Miss Independent or Single Ladies now can we”

“Do you want fries with that?” “Amen. That is so good.”
It's so impressive how normal Brittany Dawn made Paul and Morgan seem
If I’m sad, I absolutely can not handle any slow music. in fact, i can’t handle any slow music until bedtime. lol
Why does Brittany use secular music in her reels & tiktoks then…..
Excellent question!
Because in this season God approves of her using secular music to reach a larger audience. Didn't you know those who are called to social media evangelism after a major scandal are given special rules and a love of the color beige??
Because its the "wrong for thee but not for me" mentality those 3 have
I'm not a Christian, but i really love your content. I think my win for the week is finding a Christian youtuber who brings so much grace and respect to the platform
That means so much to me!! Thank you for giving my content a chance 💛
Constantly policing yourself is exhausting.
lol the part when she spelled out “enter” in entertainment reminds me of the video of that lady with the monster can 😭
the second she said porgan were gonna be on her podcast i couldnt WAIT for you to make a video about it!!! my prayers have been answered
@@BHaney Thanks! Luckily my case was pretty mild, but still not something I’d like to have to deal with again anytime soon.
I have said “ Oh Lord” perhaps 45 times listening to this . I’m counting that as prayer . I can’t with all 3 of them
Does Brittany Dawn have episodes about mass shootings and gun control? That seems a lot more destructive than music.

My win for the week was enjoying a hearty homemade stew and feeling like a cottagecore icon.

Porgan......I can't stop giggling.
Sleep paralysis from listening to hip hop music…. I’m sorry, but that sounds so unhinged.
I feel like it would be such an anxiety filled experience to be so on guard all the time
The side effects of being so repressed that they’re scared of themselves 🥲
BD would still be conducting her scams if she had not be caught and I don’t think I want her words of advice
Oh Christ, the collab no one wanted to imagine or experience 😅😬
WOW! Paul and Morgan’s age difference makes so much more sense now lol.
Why take the Lord's name in vain and why would you heart it B.....??

Eye gates and ear gates = thought-stopping.

It is interesting that they have so many temptations from secular things. I don’t think that is the common experience of non fundamentalists.
“Of course Satan is going to use those same tactics because he can’t come up with new ones.” If she thinks Satan is that dumb, why would she be threatened by him at all?

Brittany: I haven’t researched/seen/read/looked into “insert literally any topic she’s discussing here.”
Also Brittany: In 2 days, I’m going to be doing an in depth, sit down video on this topic.
So why is Brittany still using secular music in her reels & TikTok?
Also, she is probably adding more outrage to Taylor Swift on behalf of Jordan’s ties to the Chiefs
Nice, well done!!!
Omg a new mega drop with all my favourite people (😂) right before taking my dogs on a long walk!!!! That’s my win for the week lol
Two universes colliding lol
She's been diagnosed with bipolar disorder I think
Hyperpop music & similar genres would scare the absolute Poopy out of these ppl LOL
I love when B Haney goes off lol ❤
She could listen to 432 Hz secular music, which is supposed to NOT make you feel as anxious (at least to me it does). There's a lot of 432 Hz versions of many songs here on TH-cam. Idk if they're on streaming services though but some indie artists go out of their way to purely produce music at a 432 frequency.
Brittany truly has become a parody of herself.
My win for th week is tht my baby is doing great ! Pg after loss is hard . I'm 19 weeks pg so hopefully we will get to cuddle this baby earthside. ❤
If you feel convicted to listen then listen but if not then don't."
There is nothing useful for anyone to take away from the podcast other than the fact Brittany doesn't actually watch Paul and Morgan's videos lol
59:37 We stan a queen who researches before sharing her opinion, even when its not her cup of tea
Wow wow wow, this ought to be good!
lol. To the T swift concert trance. I feel like most concerts are pretty disorienting. Thank you for addressing that nonsense. 😂
Just have to add one more thing....Do you wanna get wasted or drown in your own body?? Take a shot of something every time Brittany-grifter Dawn says "me" in this podcast.
Win for the week: I am moving tomorrow! I’m about to switch this to my TV so I can listen + pack at the same time! 🎉
I hope your packing is going well and the move is smooth!!
