there's absolutely nothing wrong with a muslim who follows true hanafi fiqh. In essence, it is akin to all other schools of fiqh, including that of dawat-us-salafiyyah. We lesser learned peoples must all to taqleed to learn from the fuqaha, who have the right to do ijtihaad. I've gained a lot of respect for those who practice this school of thought through this lecture. JazakAllah Khayran to those (including the mufti) for making this possible :)
