I worked for Hadley in Cali in the nineties and 2000's till they shut the doors. We pulled for PMT when they needed it. Big loads all the time with Ford and GM. That was the load configuration we used with the big six and seven unit loads. Hard work but good money. Good memories. Your trailer is a Boyston? The red Flake paint is the best! Cheers!
I also worked for Hadley out of San Diego/Mira Loma. VPD, S&S-Seland before that. Pulled those Tahoe loads out of Arlington to Detroit a few times for Jack Cooper. 13'6" baby.
What’s up man. Live the video ., I’m think of switching from flatbed to car haul . You should do a video from start to finish let us see how you do it .,
That tie down bar and heigh stick compartment is awesome. I run east coast primarily NYS and height is 13’6 so it takes some skill and precision when it comes to big loads. Running 14’6 with half a milli of cargo takes skill precision and big stones. Nicely done driver.
For all the money and down time chopping up your truck maybe just buy a shiny new 80 footer? Your truck is bad ass but the 80 footers like purple rain is the way to go. Its what I run and I'll never go back to a mid rail. Yeah you can't do 10 but you can do som crazy big loads. Or an easy 9 unit load. Take care bro.
@@scoobylouie yea a buddy of mine took the top off of a ford bronco 2 months ago and he's been doing this for 7 years, it is thus far my biggest fear always gotta check the height and pre plan the trip before heading out , tomorrow im going to where he works i'll probably start the week after next.
DOT loves seeing car haulers like that. Over height 8 inches, goin down! Never break rules.
Welcome to my world.
@@carhaulerlife3922people act like we can get it under 14 all the time 🤣

Nice truck. Do you have the 4.5” or 6.5” drop fenders?
4.5”
What is the empty weight of a car hauler? I’ve always been curious if you could ever overload a car hauler.
They start at 42k till 45-46k depends on equipment type and engine
How do you find loads
Thanks for asking. We use mostly central dispatch and direct connection with established customers/brokers
How much does your rig weight empty and I was read 13 ,6 high
Empty weight with full tanks is 43.200
How far you take that load ???
Back west to the Bay Area
14'3"? Looks like your a bit tall.
That poor black Escalade is going to get road rash all over the back of it. How come you don’t wrap it?
Thousands of Escalades are being moved that way. There’s no problems
Sexy truck man 😍. Keep the videos coming!!!

Man bro the yard is empty

14' 3 Feet Holy Cow , when its 14'3 i think you shouldnt worry about any interstate in the US.
West coast is friendly for that height
@@carhaulerlife3922 yea the east coast where im from i think there could be some issues

I stopped hauling them, that was my last load I pulled for them They got real cheap and it’s not even worth it
