Aslam o Alaikum sister, you are in the same situation as me. We are going to perform umrah with my 4 little kids in a month inshallah. I am also planning the same way to perform first umrah as a family but with kids u never know. Anyway I was looking for cab service to book in advance, with so many luggages as well 😊. your video is so very much informative to me for that. Jazak Allah
@@khanlifestyle94 sister, one more question, did you hire someone for ziyarah? Did you apply visit visa or umrah visa? Because I am also traveling from JFK and after umrah visiting Pakistan inshallah.
@rosedaisy182 we were in Mecca & Medina for a short trip so unfortunately didn’t get a chance to do ziyarah. We applied for visit visa- NOTE: they don’t allow people with visit visa to buy the big Zam Zam bottles to take back home. Only people with Umrah visa can buy one bottle per person. We found out the hard way If you have any other questions I’m happy to help :)
@@khanlifestyle94 Jazak Allah; we are also going for 5 days. And yes I heard that they don’t allow ZAMZAM on visit visa. Then what did you do? You were not able to bring it? Someone suggested me to order it on Amazon once I come back because it’s same and convenient. Plus the airline also won’t allow us to ship water from Pakistan to USA but only from Saudi Arabia to USA. And did you have some one to teach you how to perform umrah?
Alhumdullilah we were able to get one bottle because we made a lot of prayers for it to pass security at Jeddah airport and Allah gave us a very kind staff member who allowed it. As for learning how to do umrah, we did a lot of research and listened to a lot of scholars to learn each step. You can download my umrah guide from my most recent video for all the details. Hope that helps :)@@rosedaisy500
Did you guys end up requesting a later checkout from Pullman? Around what time did you guys end up checking out? We are also planning on praying jummah at masjid al nabawi and then heading to Makkah in ahram.
On Jummah, they have a late checkout. We prayed Jummah which was around 12:30pm at that time. And they allowed us to checkout between 1-2 without any extra charge. Every hotel knows that we are there for prayers and they would not ask you to check out before prayer. We had all our bags packed and ready to go beforehand. After Jummah we came and got into ihram and then checkout straight to Mecca. On the day of checkout, you can ask them what's the latest you can checkout without paying extra. They are pretty helpful. Hope that helps! :)
JazakAllah for watching! Yes he went to masjid Aisha which is a close miqat point near masjid Al Haram. Every time you wish to perform Umrah, you have to go to the miqat point and make intention again. Hope that helps :)
On the way from Medina to Mecca, there comes Sasco Petrol Station. They have a grocery store from where I bought milk and yogurt for the kids. They also have fast food places here like al baik, kfc, Burger King etc so it’s a stop to get food. I have shown it in my previous vlogs. Check it out :)
Salam sister. A great video, thanks for sharing, I have a question what’s the best way to get transport from Jeddah to Makkah as we are a group of 4 adults and 2 kids, any recommendations and approx price, also Makkah to Madinah also, Jazakallah Khair
Walaikumusalam. Thanks for watching and please remember us in your prayers. I would advise that you hire a H1 Van which is a 7 seater, you can see that in my videos. The cost from Jeddah to Makkah hotel will be approximately 300 SAR (It depends on the season, if it's busy season then they charge more). We hired umrahtaxiservices and they provided us the transport. You can watch both of my Umrah series for full details.
Loved your video! Next time when your husband comes back from Umrah you should leave the kids with him and perform Umrah yourself in peace, that way you will be able to concentrate on your ibaadah and then maybe perform a second Umrah with the whole family as well. Also I personally get freaked out being in Ihraam for a long period as there are so many rules that can accidentally be broken
Yes that’s a great idea! Insha’Allah next time Allah allows me to go back, I will try to do this. Spending time to do ibadat alone is really nice and you can fully focus on your Duas and just enjoy the moment of being there. JazakAllah for watching the videos 🥰
@ you should know women can in fact travel in trust worthy groups according to Shafi fiqh so please understand deen before commenting and once you are there with your mehram women can absolutely go alone and perform Umrah according to all sects. Please educate yourself
@@khanlifestyle94 as-salaamu sister, I have a question: to perform a second Umra, like you mentioned your husband went with you the next day, did he had to go back to meeqat to make the intention against for the second Umra? As far as I know that’s what people do when they are done with their own, and if they want to do it again (for someone else) they have to go back to the meeqat? Please let me because I would love to perform Umra for a friend of mine that has returned to Allaah😥 Jazakallaahu khayran
So when we booked on the spot, it ended up being $800 CAD per night. However when we booked it 4-5 months in advance it was quite cheaper. I would advise to book it at least 4-5 months before your trip for best value. Hope that helps ☺️
@@khanlifestyle94Atfer watching your videos we emailed to same hotel management to charge us right now as we booked in June for November and same thing happened that your card has been declined and if you want to keep your booking reply in 24 hrs, and they supposed to charge us the day we were in flight.
