So I'm just a girl, but I'm also a country girl. Here's my take on the creek bumper dragging thing. It doesn't drag much. So just need a 2 x 4 or 1 cut in half. You get the idea. Just something low cost like that to put in front of those back tires to raise it up back there. I need you to make that a priority cause I got I'll watching/ listening to that. I live in Yukon/ Mustang sorry we missed you guys.

I can see DJ’s RV ending up being parked in the long term beach bum camper campground at Pensacola Beach. Haha Also, I wouldn’t worry about it scraping the bumper slightly in that one spot crossing your ford. 10 or 15 times crossing and the bumper should be sufficiently filed down to a perfect fit for the creek crossing.👌🏻💪🏻Lol

Good Sam member as they have insurance and various discounts etc. We had a Class A that we bought 12 years ago and then drove it to Alaska (what a trip) we just recently sold it to a younger retired couple to enjoy. I bet nobody ever told you that it will take about 3 days to load it up for a trip and about the same when you get home. I would not paint those beautiful woodwork, but I am a natural wood nut myself. Happy traveling and trails.

Another business hint, if you’re already going to be screen printing your own T-shirts tons of the equipment and the computer programs in the artwork transfers over to vinyl printing come out like all the stickers you see on the window you can make iron on‘s that go on shirts all that stuff and vinyl printers are pretty cheap and you could make your own merchandise stickers that you could mail out to people and it’s a pretty decent business as well, every store in every town has little vinyl stickers on doors and windows and signs and everything else, that’s what a lot of small sign companies make but that pretty much goes hand-in-hand with my screen printing business is, I’ve worked for a couple of them and the screen printing the hat embroidery the vinyl cutting and stickers and signs are usually things that those businesses all roll into because there’s so much shared equipment that to add when you’re pretty much already halfway there. Also if you can find auctions for sign shops that have gone out of business I’ve seen people buy an entire final printing sign shop and equipment to make screen printing blanks four really really cheap. That’s how a lot of people get the bigger more expensive machines because a lot of people start businesses and just never do it and a lot of that equipment is sitting around in peoples garages, it’s kind of like boats, there are tons of boats out there with incredibly low hours and have barely been used. Either way equipment still pretty cheap to buy and is a pretty quick and easy job to do from home

Have had most types of RVs my whole life, from travel trailers, little truck campers, fifth wheels and class C. Took my kids all over the place, and they still talk about it now and they are in their early to late 40s. Now doing it with their kids. Great lifestyle and memory maker. OH NO = a little bit of water damage. It looks like a little bit of water damage until you take off the outside aluminum and find that the wood (if it has wooden studs) is rotted. My husband had to replace a lot of the wood around the bunk in ours. Be sure to keep on top of coating the roof to seal it and along the edges good too. We used our class C for 4 years and now have a class A cause we are going to full time RV living as our kids live all over the country.

We did our 36 ft class a RV over....tore out the ugly shag carpeting ( who ever decided shag rugs were a good idea ) and put down laminate flooring, took down all the super ugly valences, put up really nice pleated shades and painted the walls and ceilings. BTY the wall paper is probably affixed to the walls, so all you have to do is scrub it down, prime it and then paint! Fun planning and fortunately my husband is really handy and did it all! Fun buying all new dishes, pots and pans etc., planning colors! Loved traveling in it! Have fun and enjoy!

@@augustreil yep they apparently don't have any in stock at camping world and factory not making any. It is not designed like home seat has water line cap on seat in behind toilet. Duck tape does wonders.

Oh what fun y’all are going to have. We have traveled out west to the Grand Canyon, Texas boarder, Tennessee, up thru the Carolina’s then back home to Navarre Beach and had so much fun. Nothing like it. Super great choice y’all have made. Can not wait to see where y’all go first. Pensacola Beach ? Love your channel. Thank you so much for all your hard work making your channel great. 👩🏻‍🌾🌻❤️

Congrats on the RV. You will have lots to learn. We just bought one earlier this year to live in while we build our new house on a farm we just purchased. Spit showers, how to use you toilet properly without much water😂, conserving water when not available and the fun job of flushing the tanks! I promise you the tank monitors will not be accurate when they show empty or full! 🤣 However we love ours and hopefully will use it for travel in the future!

The problem with the bumper scrapping the drive would not occur if the rear wheels were back further. They basically took the 24 foot chassis and mounted a longer body onto it. Very similar to what they do with school buses.
You can eliminate that problem by having someone drive stakes into the drive where the bumper scraps, then at the top of your hill, go back about a foot and drive in another stake marker. At that point, it's about removing the dirt down about 8 inches or so in between those two stakes, then putting down a 4" layer of gravel, clay or more costly concrete. This will make the incline less steep and eliminate the bottoming out.
I can't say how this will affect your drive when the creek floods though.
