This song as well as the movie chameli memsahab is masteriece and award winning movie, though I am Bengali and born and brought up a village of upper Assam sorrounding by 7 tea gardens and we were very much excited to see the movie in open field in tea garden showing by mobile cinema car, I have seen this movie at bortimon tea estate of sapekhati village 52 years back ,though right now I am living in metropolis in Calcutta ,, but I think those days were malgudi days when we were happy with 10 paise which could buy nuts mator at cinema ground and used to share among 5 child friend , they were real friends but nowa days we were not happy with 10 lakhs ,,10 crores and real friends are hardly available, those days my golden Assam is not found any more, any way grand salute to my birth place sapekhati, and people's of assam
