    Wow! Lake George! I grew up in the Clifton park, moved south in 2010 and seeing that 518 just brought me back "home" there for a second with The Great Escape and visiting the lake strip to kill a weekend day. Great video. So what does the bottom of the tank look like as far as what the hose coming out and where it goes too? Guessing I goes straight into the pressure washer right? I have a 4gpm and want to make it unload into a tank because if not I can’t be off the trigger too long or it will burn up. Anyone have a video or advice how to do it. I really rather buy a tank already plumbed up if anyone near Tampa FL has one. Tku

    • @YoungAmbitionYA
      @YoungAmbitionYA  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey how's it going? Thanks for watching and the comment. The bottom of the tank has similar bulk heads as the inlet that hook to hose lines that lead directly to the 12v pump. My pressure washer isn't currently hooked to the buffer tank but I plan to do this next spring. Like you, I will be having it unload into the buffer tank so it cycles cool water.

  • @Scott.Farkus
    @Scott.Farkus ปีที่แล้ว +2

    A little late, but for future reference; you can just let the chips fall into the tank, then use a syphon hose(piece of garden hose) to syphon the water out and suck the pieces of plastic out with the water.

  • @johnpaul-mp7zc

  • @collinallen5356
    @collinallen5356 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I see you have a garden hose in and 4 valve out... this video shows 2 of the valves out go to water tanks but what are the other 2 lines used for? I assume you plug the clear line in the soft wash pump at end of job for rinsing? What about the other green flexzilla hose?

    • @YoungAmbitionYA
      @YoungAmbitionYA  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Collin. Some of those valves are replaced by the new float valves. The green flexilla hoses were connected to the 2 outlets on the top side of each tank. Each tank was given a new float valve. Each float valve is fed by a flexilla hose. Each tank then has an outlet bulkhead at the bottom where the pump pulls from

  • @jerrellexteriorcleaning

    So where is your water coming from ? Are those Flexzilla hoses at the top on the Hutson connected to a reel?

    • @YoungAmbitionYA
      @YoungAmbitionYA  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The water comes from a homes spicket, into the flexilla, to the float valve and then into the tank. This keeps the tanks full. At the bottom of the tank is a bulk head valve that allows the pump to pull from

      What's up Hilly. Lots of factors. Are you downstreaming? Are you in the north or south? South has a lot of concrete driveways and surface cleaning is huge down there. 8gpm seems to be the ticket for those guys. I live in the northeast and we are all Asphault. I soft wash houses and roofs with a 12v 5.5gpm pump. I only have a small Honda PW 2.5 gpm. I turn it on like 3 times a year up here. I rarely use it for my business. Hey boss really appreciate all your videos! Question on tank size, do you still need a large water tank if using a hudson float valve to constantly top off your tanks? Or would having a smaller tank, 50 gal or so with the float valve work?

    • @YoungAmbitionYA
      @YoungAmbitionYA  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What's up Josh. 50 gallons would work. 100 gallons is just extra "buffer" which is nice when you get a job with a slow well pump or spigot issues, but nut a necessity. Some guys carry 500 gallons. Nice to have but not always necessary.

When youre busy keep marketing. marketing should be consistent month after month. if you pause your marketing you pause your business. also reach out to previous customers and offer a discount for early spring work

If I remember correctly there was some funky threading on the valves to keep previously threaded pieces from unthreading as others were tightened
