- A team at the Crocodile Lake National Wildlife Refuge in Key Largo, Florida, is tracking crocodile eggs in a one-of-a-kind effort to save the endangered American crocodile which serves a critical role in controlling the population of other species. Wouldn’t rising sea level increase their habitat area? I mean because they live in the water.
Crocodiles spend time in bodies of water but at the end of the day it’s a reptile. Which I hope would inspire the thought of sunlight and it needing to bask on land more than it is in water

Still endangered, have been for a while.
They were critically endangered. Now they are endangered. There is a big difference between 70 and 2500. But there used to be 10 of thousands not that long ago
