Oh why didn’t I see this video sooner? The aggravation and time this would have saved me walking on top of the solution the whole time lol 🤦🏻♂️ My second biggest issue is the lines getting twisted.
That stick trick is bloody great! I can't believe I haven't seen that before. I used it today for the first time, and it worked wonderfully. Thank you very much, and keep up the great work.
Very cool, thanks for giving me great insight into throw line manipulation. I had that exact problem 1 hour ago, and couldn't get the throw line over a 2 inch branch stump but I'm confident now I can with your stick technique!
I’m a dumba** I always wondered how people got a first line in a tree to climb. Basically a huge wrist rocket. Young people just continue to amaze me. Hopefully they can repair the planet we all have damaged since the beginning of time.
I love being able to see what's happening on the ground and up in the tree. While I'm not planning on climbing, I do have hanging widowmakers in many of my trees in the woods from a terrible ice storm. These techniques will help me secure a line so that I may in turn pull them down from a safe distance with my tractor. Many thanks!
Over thirty years in the business , and I’m still learning...thanks!

I hope the next time you get a stuck friction saver you can execute this technique
How do you get the first line up the tree?
At first stick work like a charm
I get my rope over the branch and throw up slack. Works every time.
Excellent! I think the simple stick works best! Haha!
very cool, thanks ..!
Bro that's really a smart stick.
Good stuff, thank you - never occurred to me to us a stick like that!

Sweet tricks! I’m sure they’ll come and good use
🤙
Why would someone give this a thumbs down? Clearly they chose wrong.
Very cool... 👍👍
Ever tried rolling your climb line very quick and easy to get over stobs to base of tree
No never
Stobs?
I don't get it you can just tie your rope to the throw line, am I missing something?
