Holy cow! Even at 11 years old that delectable linguica, Antonio Casalinho, was a marvel. Therefore, no one will be surprised he won the Gold Medal at the Prix de Lausanne this past February.
@@nameless9796 it’s super hard, it’s tones of relieves and you need real strength and endurance to do it. Most 11 year olds just got their pointe shoes.
is it just me or should the junior silver medalist (girls) shouldve been bronze.. theres just something about her feet that is very uncontrolled and floppy almost. i see a lot of flexed feet coming down and a few sickles.
KradVortex I agree with you, however YAGP is very political. It’s hard to tell sometimes if the dancer got the award for their skill or for their connections.
Yes, I am sure you are expert , but yes I think it is very stupid !!! It is a lot of choreography for proper age to do with out harming this children. That is my opinion !!!You are free to have yours as well .
many of these kids want to join a company so by performing a variation, the scouts can decide if they have potential for the company in the future! it is stupid because many times they may have the technique but not the maturity to fully perform the roles so I agree with you
Well there are very few “kids” variations for them to choose from (which is why nowadays YAGP is flooded with Fairy Dolls) so they often have no choice but to do an adult variation
Tate is such a lovely personality onstage.

The dancer who did the variation la Esmerelda was amazing! Her ending was different and slightly more complicated than other Esmerelda variations!
But she had some problems with the rithm.
Juliette Bosco's Grand pas classique was INCREDIBLE
omg the girl who won gold for junior is amazing!!!!
Why is 11 yrs old insanely too young and then the 12 yr old is so amazing?? I mean 11 and 12 are both young but they were both amazing

In her classical I think I missed the flexed feet, but in her contemporary dance I think the flexed feet was intentional
11 yr old grand pas classique ahahhhhhhh
Few skills but no coup de pied which is a main problem for a dancer
19 variation?
If you are talking about the variation at 19:00 minutes, It's from Diana and Acteon
happy ballet da y! I'm a ballerina
5:52 Was her music horribly off, or is it just me?

Lindsay&Fifi Beauty Grand Pas Classique
Horrible feet without coup de pied
This is stupid. Why children do adults variations ?
Because ballet has evolved into nothing but tricks and acrobatics, in which these kids are clearly talented in :/
Nilas spasov you obviously don't know anything about ballet
