    I love it when bike companies change it up. As an e-bike reviewer, I know you can appreciate when they spice it up with different and unique parts you haven't seen before and even better when they stray away from the usual cookie cutter frame style. I love how this frame design looks too!

    Heybike kind of shot themselves in the foot by giving you their prototype that's lacking so much. And the price is just too steep for what you get. They say that's a promotional price, who are they kidding, they'll never be able to sell these at their proposed regular price.

      Carbon fiber is very pricey material, price is probably reasonable. I'd like to see the weight down, maybe 3in tires, air fork.

      Those are good ideas that should be implemented along with adding fenders, rack, and integrated tail light as well as iron out all the other issues. Then the current price might be okay.

      I would not want a bike without fenders and a rear rack. After adding them how much weight are you really saving. More important is a larger battery 20 and 52 or 60 volts. I would pass on this one

    What does it have over the E-Cells and Wired bikes? All I can think of is a few lbs maybe and torque sensor PAS. Better looking? Couple more gears. Step through frame is the main feature with dual suspension.. Magicycle Deer is one that is close but not as fast. Hard to find a 33 mph full suspension step through fat tire bike.

    Great detailed and thorough review as always from CC! I consider this channel in the Top 3 ebike reviewers, mainly due to his HONESTY. I would not hesitate buying thru him. Esp. like the carbon fiber weight but was hoping for 20 lbs lighter, still 15 lbs is good but worth that much? I like the looks, esp. the Neon Green trapeze frame, the only one for my tastes 😎👍 but no one has reviewed that yet? Its a mountain bike style, but agree fenders as a option is a must but wont look cool. Front shocks at this price point deserve the best full adjust hydraulics! Rear shock looks great once thats tweaked. Tail lights should be integrated if not battery type included--theyre like $10 😆 Why the 750 motor screams at 27 mph+ when mine hums at less watts? Cant believe its got 160nm!? I got hills so 1000w is ideal but less nm? Last but definitely not least is the display, not a fan of the integrated displays at all. The only benefit I see for integrated displays is SECURITY/LOCKING the ebike from thieves and GPS tracking to help retrieve it with the app. Without that, the cons are no adjustable viewing angle and tiny screens. I like to easily see bike and battery data etc and to swap handlebars for COMFORT. I realize Heybike campaigned on the integrated one, but having a adjustable stem or a optional handlebar display type is more flexible . Lastly, Id be more interested if they made a 20x4 smaller version of this ebike in the future as the 26" are big bikes really for 5'10"+ riders! 👍

  • @18andlikeit
    @18andlikeit หลายเดือนก่อน

    Almost seems more like a cadence sensor than a torque sensor. Love the way it looks but kinda pricey. Agree that the built in display would keep you from upgrading the handlebars or changing stem for adjustments which is a con to me. Hoping you do another review after the finished production model is released.

    i don’t know. it seems like they are saying a lot of things are changing on the bike. since it’s not the final version, the video won’t be accurate enough to get an actual idea of what this bike will be like. and, i prefer not to support crowdfunding and wait for the final product to know what you are getting. for that price i could shop around on tangible bikes where the specs are already laid out. otherwise you’re both waiting and risking over a thousand bucks of your own money that could be otherwise going to an existing bike on the market.

    Too heavy for what it offers. It doesn't have a large battery or really large motor that could explain for the extra weight. To pay for the premium of a carbon fiber frame and not get truly great reductions in weight?

    • @markwexy1621
      @markwexy1621 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      26" Fat tire bikes are essential if you regularly travel 28 mph or faster. They offer much more stability and are so planted. And you just need those qualities to feel confident and safe. And they are plenty nimble enough.In fact, one of the downsides of the much skinnier 26" or 27.5" e-bikes and especially 20" e-bikes is they are far too twitchy at high speeds to feel confident. I've owned every variety so I know from personal experience.

      I far prefer 20inch tires by far . I reach 28mph , super comfortable and 100% stable . 26x4 are monster tires . First words most everyone mentions when they get an e-bike with 26x4 is the bike is huge . Annoying whoever got this 26x4 inch tires started .
