Connie, all the Versafine inks you showed are permanent, I use them for stamping, they are slower drying & good for detailed stamps, once dry you can use watercolor over top with no problems.
That was an interesting selection of books at the end, there. I don't care much for coloring people either. I've practiced drawing faces after watching a few of the Frugal Crafter's videos and enjoyed doing that a little. I don't like to do skin or hair. I don't like those Chibi books or any of those books with the big heads and small necks! Ha! I like landscape and flowers and boats and lighthouses and coloring mandalas once in a while. I have this nice color book that I got a number of years ago from Ollie's. It has a sea/tropical theme. I decided I didn't care much for it, so I was just gonna do whatever I wanted to do in it, you know, just experiment without worrying about a thing. Well, before I knew it, I was having the best time in that book! and it is almost done. Just experimenting with it took all the pressure off and I've since tried to do that with most of my books. I've got one book for Halloween which is an Edgar Allen Poe one, I think it is Lemon Drop Publishing, or something like that. I've tried like 11 different kinds of pencils on that paper and none of them like that paper at all. Paper really does make or break the enjoyment of color pencilling. :)
There are open stock Staedtler Pigment Arts brush pens on Cultpens. Cost about as much as Pitt ones do. Would you happen to have a list of the Staedtler colours that compliment the Pitt set?
Thank you for letting me know that! :) They are expensive (and I still think that the Pitt Pens are slightly better quality :)) but I'm really enjoying using a combination of both brands. Honestly - all the Staedtler colours are different enough from the Pitt Pen colours to make them useful (although some only have slight differences - but I still find them useful for giving subtle shading/texture). :) In looking at my swatch cards, I'd say the following would be the most useful additions: 2 Red 21 Light Rosé 208 Rosé Pink 6 Violet 3 Blue 5 Green 57 Olive Green 76 Brown 90 Light Black 99 Intense Black Hope that helps! :)
Do you find Pitt Pens less streaky than usual water based markers? I have the Ohuhu set and they are good, but they just streak so badly as soon as the colored surface is not super small...
I do find they are less streaky - although if you're colouring a large area, they are still going to appear more streaky than, say, an alcohol marker would. :) You could try purchasing one or two Pitt Pens through open stock in a colour that you want to use in a large area and give them a try to see how you like them. :)
I’ve been highly enjoying your little haul videos 😊
Glad you like them! :)

Ah - good to know - thank you so much! I'm a newbie when it comes to inks and stamping so I very much appreciate all the advice and help I can get! :)
I worked @ a rubber stamp store about 20 yrs ago. You may want to store your ink pads upside-down. Just a thought.
Excellent advice! I've just turned them all over in my storage rack. :) Thank you!
Hi hun another beautiful October haul I’m really enjoying this series it’s just so much fun 🤩 ❤❤❤😊😊😊xxxx
Glad you're liking the videos! :)
'Dromenvanger' means 'Dreamcatcher'. 🙂 I believe the original title would translate to 'Dreamland'.
Thank you for the translation! :)
I got a laugh over your book.
Not a book everyone would want/love. ;) :)

Very true - I definitely need to learn to worry less about how my pictures will turn out and just colour! :)

Thank you! They are not the cheapest, for sure 😂 Luckily there aren’t 120 to collect either!
