Glad to see you with gloves on in this one, that concrete and mortar can wreck your hands in so many ways, I used to mortar and build brick piers doing shoring work in my younger days. I know whats like to go home with hands so ate up you can barely move em the next morning, but still have to pay the bills.

You have your impeller at the bottom like you should. But it needs a bearing to keep the impeller from touching the pipe it turns in. And it is better to slope the pipe. The water now falls down and a lot of the kinettic energy is absorbed by the floor of the big hole where the water falls on to. After the water has been stopped it will run further down into the hole with the impeller. When the hole will get sloped from the top to the bottom it will flow with far less resistance into the hole at the bottom. So the further you go down in the hole the smaller it will get untill you have the same diameter as the hole.

Nice job with building the dam, but, what do you do with them after your done with building and filming? Do you keep it where it is or do you haft to demolish it so the little stream won’t flood?
the location always looks similiar, so its probably demolished and cleaned up for the next video

@@stinkertonsden It would need a significant drop in elevation, enough so the next dam's top is at the same elevation or lower than the previous dam so a second reservoir can form without flooding out the face of the previous dam.
