    As much as I love the Mothman, I would love to see your cutesy style applied to the Flatwoods Monster. I feel like she doesn't get enough love and there would be a lot of interesting shapes to work with!
    Also the Fresno Nightcrawlers; they're just goofy little guys.

    Hi! I really loved your cartoonish style for these cryptids. I love when creepy things are made cute. I don’t actually crochet myself but I’m trying to learn. I’d love to see you make another part of this with the Loch Ness Monster, Mothman and the Squonk ( a cryptid from Pennsylvania in the US) described as “the Squonk is, physically and actually, a pig. It's covered in warts and has cauliflower ears covered in wax and hair. Its tusks are yellow and crooked and its rheumy eyes weep constant tears. It has four legs (Three and a half if the right hind leg is transparent).”

    • @ComplicatedKnots
      @ComplicatedKnots  ปีที่แล้ว +17

      I've done Loch Ness before, but the squonk sounds like fun!!

    • @Marsi-P
      @Marsi-P ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I was gonna ask for the squonk too! It’s constantly crying because of how ugly it is and if sighted turns into a puddle of tears.

    The Bunyp is my favorite but they're all wonderful. I like that you added the hind legs as it made the cutie less walrusy.
    Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

    I love how by the end of this you've made a new pokemon starter lineup. They're so cute, and I love your method for coming up with unique looks for them all!

    13:00 , thay way you made him look with the back legs makes me thing of an old concept of mine for a show/movie i want to annimate, i called it sea pups and it looked nearly identical minus the teeth. XD

  • @feathersflight
    @feathersflight ปีที่แล้ว +27

    So cuuuute! I hope you do this again! My favorite cryptid is the jackalope, but that's probably too straightforward (it's just a jackrabbit with antelope horns/antlers).

    • @ComplicatedKnots
      @ComplicatedKnots  ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Jackalope still makes the list! I could make that little dude so freaking cute...

      Oh I want a jackalope! I have one pattern for one, but yours, I know, will be great. They are from Wyoming but have been reported in other northwest states. I'm sure you know about sasquatch. Originally from Washington state wilderness down to northern California.

    • @MaxKarmaCat
      @MaxKarmaCat ปีที่แล้ว

      Or a wolpertinger for a bit of extra detail and options! Fangs, antlers, and wings on some little forest critter? Perfect!

  • @EchoCian
    @EchoCian ปีที่แล้ว +19

    I love them so much.
    My suggestions are Mothman, Bigfoot, and Nessie for some classics. Or it might be fun to do a different version of the chupacabra or bunyip, since there are so many variants.
    There's also the stellar's sea ape, but honestly it sounds a lot like the bunyip.

    • @BearlyAwake13
      @BearlyAwake13 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Pretty sure she's already done Nessie!

  • @Bottiboo

    Hello, swede here! I think a really interseting cryptid you could try to make would be storsjöodjuret, it's a swedish cryptid hence why I like it so much. It's described as having a 10 meter long and almost 1 meter thick body, humps along it's back and a dog or cat like head, I do believe it's described as having legs as well, not sure though🤔
    Also amazing video as always, you content has gotten me interseted in crochet!😁

    These are super. Every chupacabra photo I have ever seen looks like a sickly, mangy large coyote. You did well with yours. I loved the tip about dragon spines, which that definitely is. I'm trying get ready to make dragons. I have a unicorn to make for a granddaughter first. I think your using a curved needle is brilliant! I keep mine in my main needle book so I can find it easily. When working in the round, you can create a straight seam by chaining one, first stitch in the same space, do your row, slip stitch into the first stitch when you get back around (not the chain 1), chain one, and work the next row starting in the same space, repeat. I’m sure there are better explanations of this and I’m still experimenting with it on odd shapes, but it makes a pretty seam.

    Skinwalker ,werewolf, lockness, jackalope, loveland frog. Chudzinski,a very large huminoid porcupine,and mothman are some of the ones close to my area. Not going to lie the during my 2022 NYLT i was told there were alot of skinwalkers in the are and i was scared of everything, second day there a frinking rabbit was in the campsite and wouldn't run off when people approached it it was the creepiest thing ever thanks my good friend for scaring the living doo doo out of me 😂
