  • I have noticed over time, I consistently use the same adjustments to all my bikes whenever I get them, to make them feel better. These are 5 tips, that you can use to any bike whenever you get it.
    1. Suspension - Fork 1-2 clicks faster rebound. Shock 2-3 clicks slower rebound
    2. Brake Levers - Tip downward slightly to align them with your forearm
    3. Brake Levers - Slide inward slightly to align for 1 finger braking
    4. Handlebars - Roll bars back very slightly
    5. Seat - Tip forward to give better angle for climbing
    Do these to the extent of what feels best, and your bike will be riding much better.
    Any questions, leave them below!

    Thanks man, just got my first new bike in decades and I’ll try these out. It’s a levo, more bike than I deserve but I’m hoping it’ll get me off the couch and smiling again. Put my 15 year old gamer kid on it last night and he couldn’t hide how much fun he was having without a screen. Ok, it’s got a little one but I don’t think he was glued to it! Love your content, I can learn a lot from you😃

      Just checking in on you... How is the new bike?
      I just got my Turbo Levo expert in July and I put almost 700 miles on it. It's the best.

    Thanks for the tips, I’ve got a ‘18 Levo. Man this bike is so awesome love how they implemented that brose motor! Setting a standard because even when I’m in off, i can easily go faster then my wife’s ebike with Bosch. Keep doing these Levo/Kenevo video’s plz, it’s very informative.

    Hi Marshall: Your videos about Specialized is awesome! I am learning a lot on this channel. I recently bought Levo Carbon Comp S2 (2022 model) and I currently have stock components. I find that the seat is very firm and hard. Do you have any recommendation for a seat that feels more comfortable? Bit cushy in other words. Thanks in advance!

    Picking up my levo carbon in a couple days from dealership, we are supposed to have a tune up session. I am interested to see if they touch on any of what you just suggested, if not, I will bring up those points and make adjustments.

    Hey Marshall, I just got the new Kenevo SL S-Work and am in the process of setting it up and dialing it in. So thanks for the extensive videos and opinion on the KSL, it helps a lot man. Question though about pedal platforms and shoes. Do you opt for clip-ins (ex: XTR w/ SPD's) or flat platforms? And with that, what shoes have you experienced that might be better/worse for eMTB'ing? Thanks, Shawn

    for shock adjustments are you changing high speed, low speed or both?

    No idea how tubeless is not on your list!?! That's definitely the #1 thing to do on any bike! All those other things come down to personal preference, rider style or how you want the bike to feel.

    These are great tips and I really appreciate it but bro, how many Xanax did you take? 😅
    Either that or you've been riding your Levo so much you're on permanent chill mode.

    When u click your rebound as you mention, do you start from the slowest or from the middle? Thanks.

    • @RidetheWild
      @RidetheWild 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pretty sure he’s simplified it and is starting from the recommended settings for psi in the shock/fork documentation. You can’t slow it down from slowest. 😉🤘🏻

      I am starting from wherever the fork is set at from factory. Usually that is the recommended.

    • @RidetheWild
      @RidetheWild 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MarshallMullen1 I find it depends a lot on terrain. The eBikes carry a fair bit of weight and running a little less rebound damping on smoother trails often helps to make the bike ride “lighter”, whereas you would want more rebound damping on rough stuff. Thanks for making such awesome ride videos man! 💪🏻

      Isnt this down to personal taste and the type of riding terrain your on?

    Not sure why my comment got deleted but here we go again. I bought my 2020 Turbo Levo Expert Carbon, in November 2020 with zero MTB experience . Today is July4th and I now have 1000 miles under my tires and I absolutely love it ! ,,,, I blew my motor and my local Bike Shop got me the new updated version for free and it took 12 days and then I blew my rear end and they got me the new updated version along with 2 new carbon wheels for free and it took 12 days , so I'm happy with the brands. The motor made uphill fun and suddenly I became a downhill rider . Now that I have some experience, I feel like I want a 27.5 on the rear and more travel up front . The 2022 comes stock like this so it must be a good idea, I just want to make sure my frame will like the adjustment. I would love some thoughts on this please ? ? ?

    • @MarshallMullen1
      @MarshallMullen1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So glad to hear you love it! that is very cool. It is possible for you to put a 27.5 on the rear, however, in the 2020 version, I dont think it works that well. The bike does better in 29. It will work, and you may like it, but I prefer 29 on that one, and I would recommend sticking with 29.

    • @ne112
      @ne112 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MarshallMullen1 Thank You so much for the reply ! ! ! Awesome ! I am going to stay with the 29 . What about more beast up front with the fork ?

    • @MarshallMullen1
      @MarshallMullen1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ne112 I know some people who have done that, and they like it. But I have not done it. I have always felt like 160mm is enough fro that bike. More than that and you are effecting the geometry. But, some people like it.
