Season 6 is a missed opportunity. They had with Alonso one of the best driver comebacks & many great stories on the track. His duel with Checo, with that last chance overtake and the photo finish... One of the most epic moments in F1

its crazy that we got 2 whole episodes about alpine that did nothing the whole season and only 8 minutes of alonso, must be that ryan renyolds netflix connection at alpine paying dividends for them, also I found it weird since nextflix love drama that they didnt cover stroll having a meltdown in qatar which was one of the most dramatic moments of the season
I just skipped those episodes, it doesn't worth to watch

Episode 7 wasn't great but Episode 5 was nice with the Ocon vs Gasly rivalry. Ep7 was defo requested by the big-name shareholders
@@NavF1 yeah I mean 1 episode about alpine is fine their drivers dont exactly get along and they did cover the incident i guess in australia (which we didnt learn anything new about), I was sort of hoping they would cover Japan where gasly was told to give to swap position on the last lap and the engineer said something like, we'll discuss it later, that would've interesting to see the BTS for but maybe netflix only go to a select amount races idk, maybe thats why they seem to miss out certain things that happened
or they couldve focused more on red bull aswell

After watching dts season 6 I don't think it will happen I think alonso is hired as a coach as Lawrence stroll himself says he wants his son to be world champion I think alonso has gone from a veteran driver to babysitter after changing to Aston Martin
Even if Aston Martin make a car capable of winning championship it would take a miracle after seeing track record of lance stroll if they want to win wdc their best bet is alonso

DTS have wasted the opportunity to show how AM give Fernando a competitive car and at 42 years old he has shown that the magic is still there after 10 years without a decent car, that determination and hunger are well worth a chapter. I remember Hamilton saying that he had forgotten what it felt like to win a race after two years without doing so. This guy hasn't won a race since 2013, anyone else would have given up

Hamilton really was thinking "why is that not me?" but not the bit about doing well with a Mercedes engine, but doing well from changing teams!
The man is just spoiled from all the years of absolute domination. For 2 seasons, he's still been driving on average the 3rd/2nd quickest car, yet he makes it as if he drove an absolute shitbox. Try doing 4 seasons in a backrunner car like Alonso did with McLaren and then talk mr. #blessed.

@@kami_narisama Alonso was "complaining" when he had a reason, being overtaken by saubers and other midfielders, because of a "gp2 engine". He fought like a lion whenever he saw an opportunity for points (baku, australia, you name it). Hamilton on the other hand is just whining all the time when a ferrari or a red bull overtakes him and wants to retire the car without a fight when he's not at the very front (spain 2022). He's a fashion muppet nowadays, not a racer.

Without a doubt, Mercedes will be seeing him as a wildcard for a seat next year. Even if it's only a year. The guy is 42 and putting young energetic kids to shame. You can't trump raw talent. The longer his name isn't put on that Aston contract the bigger them whispers will become.
