He was one one man show and I don’t think gets the credit he deserves . Not to mention he’s co written many songs for Celine Dion and co wrote a #1 hit for Clay Aiken and wrote the main guitar riff for Jon Bon Jovi’s Blaze of Glory . I’m more into the 80’s glam metal and rock but I can appreciate good music and those are some good artists . He’s done it all he’s truly a talented guy .

Lived in Big Bear at the time. 2 weeks later We were at Summer Strut in Anaheim with Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Loverboy, and Foreigner. Loved the 80s!

Saw him open for Hall and Oates of all people, in I think 82. I thought he was a band that I sort of liked called Novo Combo. I had seats in the orchestra pit and that helicopter sound made me think I was being attacked by Hind gunships. It took me about a half of a year to find out who he was when I heard this song paired with "Foolin' Yourself" on a to for Tuesday weekend, until this day they're two of my favorite songs. An amazing talent.
I’m not being a jerk one bit here but nearly every live album is not all live for example KISS Alive II and Judas Priest Unleashed in the East , this sounds killer and rivals the studio version !

Sad and tragic to me is how Bon Jovi came in and literally stole the whole Aldo sound and stage presence. Look, I don't want to talk trash, just the facts. Take a good look at the Fantasy video and compare that to literally all of the Bon Jovi stuff. In fairness, Bon Jovi pointed to Aldo Nova as a huge influence, but I always wondered those days what the hell happened to Aldo Nova after this album. Was the industry already heavily invested in stealing the sound? I remember playing the cassette the night I picked it up cruising around with friends and everyone in the car was yelling over the music, Holy shit every song on this kicks ass!
Yes JBJ stole my brother Image , But JBJ never can play the guitar like Aldo Nova..They met when Aldo was recording his first album..JBJ was a goffer , giving coffee , errands etc....He was never gave the credits , even was JBJ received an award...Now he is on Direct TV ..and making his wine ...complete looser ...How I know this is because Aldo Nova is my brother ....Karma will get back to him....another thing , when he received his award , Aldo said that he lost his voice ...This was on TH-cam....All COMMENTS were DELETED...

I love the tone of the Les Paul.... and he works the toggle switch great. I love the mix of this, but it seems to me that Aldos' right hand timing is off just a tad while he's singing... and I do mean just slightly. Fabulous.. FABULOUS solo at the end and again, I can't say enough about his tone. Stellar!!
