Hopped to this video from another so was watching Luke and his team serve their guests with simply stunning top class food thinking this team will go far and as an Englishman Luke's tale about drinking tea resonated. The video finished and I went to give it a thumbs up to see that Luke took his own life!!! My word, such a talent but more importantly he presented himself humbly and was passionate about what he did. If anyone reads this then all I ask is that you look around you and make sure nobody feels so alone they cannot reach out and talk. RIP young man.
Every time I see y'all upload I have this flinch that's like "omg why are they traveling?!" Then I remember the rest of the world has already dealt with COVID lol
Hey Anders and Kailin, do you get some recipes from these chefs? Lots of insane stuff...I wish I knew how to make a Nori Tart...just the batter..so I coul fill with I don't know...maybe everything!
Hi. This is not an ad. The meal is paid for and the restaurant is not involved in the making of the video. We write "Book your meal at X restaurant" in the description of all our videos to help our viewers find the booking link easily (a lot of people ask about this in the comments).
Looks a lovely place and the food looks nice. No mention of it in Michelin, so I would question how it is two michelin star level. This is subjective rather than fact.
Yes, of course this is subjective. This is our opinion based on eating in hundreds of Michelin-restaurants. It compares to a two star. And no, it could not have been listed in Michelin, because it opened after the last Michelin award in February 2020, and the 2021 awards have been pushed to May.

Luke was the finest.
You can very clearly see the Maaemo influences, but he also made it his own. Very nice.
Exactly!
That wild black tea and custard tart sounds divine. Such beautiful food!
It was! One of our favorites.
RIP Luke. A very talented chef lost way too early :(
We hope has found peace now.

The food looks adorable.
Haha, yes, cute little tarts and nice decorations.
@@andersandkaitlin exactly! So much attention to detail. They deliberately made it look cute. I'd feel guilty eating it.
@@fhantasm that's until you taste it - then you want another one! :D
@@andersandkaitlin Of course, you know you've reached Chef Godhood when your langoustine reminds someone of a cheeseburger.

It was interesting to see.
Glad to hear that!
0:31 to 0:34 reminds me of a Wes Anderson film for some reason 😂
Haha, we'll take that as a compliment. #accidentallywesanderson

Haha, yeah, but Oslo has been our only trip abroad this year. But Denmark is definitely at a better level than many other places.
Hahahaha, damn I feel the same! Straight truth!

The food looks good
It was exceptional.
Just a comprehension question: Is that an Ad/Image Film? ("Book your meal at The Tea Room")

everything looked great, but beef tatare and waffles is hardly a british classic
No, it's a Nordic twist.
