How come AJ could so easily beat Otto Wallin, who beat Gassiev, who in his turn had fought so well agains Usyk, who in his turn defeated AJ, not once but twice. Either Wallin had an awful day at the "office" or AJ performed exceptionally well that day. I still believe that Otto Wallin can compete with the best in the division.
At the time of this fight, Gassiev was the most promising boxer in the world. I thought he would rise from the heavyweight division and destroy everyone there. His coach Abel Sanchez said he was the toughest and most technical. That evening I bet on Gassiev and was confident of his victory. But the Tendril just destroyed it! Gassiev could not recover after that, he did not box for a very long time, then he returned, but he was not the same boxer that he was before.
How can you say gassiev fought so well in this fight when he was completely battered in the fight. Yes he was a good fighter in that tournament but usyk was too much, footwork on point, throws over six combinations anytime gassiev did mistake or is off balance he was just like a moving punching bag he would've been knocked out if he if not for his good up and tight guard

Simple answer, styles make fights. Fighter A defeating Fighter B doesn’t mean Fighter B can’t beat Fighter C who defeated Fighter A.
