In this video, Chris and Jennifer sit down to unveil their long-anticipated ancestry DNA results! The results are a jaw-dropping eye-opener. What did you expect them to receive?
Remember skin color has nothing to do with it, always start with a blank canvas. Eva Longoria is like 70% European and she is very dark skinned. I have a cousin who is very Ivory white skinned (cannot tan just burns) with big green/blue eyes and he is 60% Native American, 10% sub Saharan African and 30% Iberian go figure?
My skin is so white people often think I'm Italian or Spanish. When I got my DNA results, I scored 37-41% Native American and I wasn't surprised at all. I even thought I'd score close to 50% NA. Why? Because my dad is and looks very Amerindian. My family even thought he was 100% at one point. My mom's 1/4 Chinese and 3/4 Spanish and I was surprised when I scored almost 18% Chinese. Thought I'd score 12-13%. Funny how my exotic looks can fool anyone. But in the end, looks don't mean much...
@@mattc236, I'm sure that many people hate their own appearances, or some aspects of it. But being in denial at this guy's level is quite mental. It's as if a black person gets shocked to find out his/her DNA ancestry is mainly African. I mean, come on!
I knew I would get a good amount of Native American but I didn't think I would get as much as I did. I got 97.7% Native American and only 1.4% European. I can't say that I am not happy with the results because I feel so proud of that percentage!
What is your background and where are you from? I watched a video about a Peruvian girl in the US who thought she was mestizo but she was actually 98 or 99% Native American
Jc Dizon my parents are from the same village in the state of Mexico. They both speak an indigenous language called Mazahua. I look a bit Native American but my eyes make me look more East Asian. Also my mom is pretty fair skin that’s why I thought the percentages would be different. It said that I have either a parent or grandparent that is 100% Native American
Karina Romero displaying African depigmentation genes doesn't mean anything 😉 Humans are 100% African, 99.9% identical and 100% African derived [nat geo's Africans under the skin]. Modern ethnicities were created 10-40k years ago but African depigmentation genes didn't flourish until 5-8k years ago 😂 Hispanic-African dna is 60-400k years old 😂 "When it comes to skin color, the team found a patchwork of evolution in different places, and three separate genes that produce light skin, telling a complex story for how European’s skin evolved to be much lighter during the past 8000 years. The modern humans who came out of Africa to originally settle Europe about 40,000 years are presumed to have had dark skin, which is advantageous in sunny latitudes. And the new data confirm that about 8500 years ago, early hunter-gatherers in Spain, Luxembourg, and Hungary also had darker skin: They lacked versions of two genes-SLC24A5 and SLC45A2-that lead to depigmentation and, therefore, pale skin in Europeans today." www.sciencemag.org/news/2015/04/how-europeans-evolved-white-skin
Good Vibes... Shut your filipino ass up. At least some of the Mexicans have 40-60% European blood... not like you pinoys that claim to have "Spanish" blood. I saw a video with a filipina get her world crushed once she found out she was 100% Asian...hahaha she actually thought she was European...the ones that live in denial are the Flips.
That was Hispania or España. Iberia was the limit of the world for the ancient Greeks It was the coast of Spain and also a Kingdom (302 BC-580 AD) in Georgia in the Caucasus. Spain was named by the Phoenicians and their colony Carthage. The Romans took the name. Iberia word is used wrongfully as Hispania (also in Spain).
cobra9x your ignorant Iberian peninsula is the land/mountain mass that 2 countries sit on, its not a race or ethnicity. Portugal was a country before Spain and they are Portuguese's not Spanish, also Hispania origins are in northern Spain not south do your research better.
Mamma Mamma race means African physical traits, troll and 100% of human DNA is African Humans are 100% African, 99.9% identical and 100% African derived [nat geo's Africans under the skin]. because we don't talk about our Amerindian ancestry and we don't identify as Native American even if we "look it". It's not part of our culture. We are Catholics Ecuadorians, or Mexicans or Chilieans, etc and Indians are not part of our social group either. We don't even speak the same language. Different religion, customs, everything except for the commons ancestors.
Matt C Wtf is wrong with you? The woman on the right doesn’t look European at all. She looks Native as fuck, she’s dark, and look at her bone structure, hair and eyes. The one in this photo does also looks Mestiza. You must be a child, or maybe you want all Latinos to be identified as white. Well bad news buddy, just because you’re part European doesn’t mean you can pass as white.
Indio Mexicano sir she looks super native. Get your eyes fixed. I could tell and many other people could tell she was, why couldn’t you? You’re just stupid
Some Spaniards have Sardinian blood, so that could have come to her through the Spanish people. For example this girl is like 98% or so from the Iberian peninsula and the rest is from Sardinia: th-cam.com/video/bV23UWohR6M/w-d-xo.html
I agree. They highlight and throw a party with Native American, Africa, etc but shit all over the fact that they have blood from Europe-that is the social politics that they are taught.
@@thomastank8458 Why they define themselves as "hispanic" Hispania ( now Spain ) was the name of province of the Roman Empire. They were born in Spain? In any case, they are Hispanic Americans as natives of countries that were colonies of the Spanish empire. It doesn't make much sense either, but, anyway... Americans don't define themselves as Anglo-Americans, for example.
LaVar Ball per USA definition native American is ANY person descendant of ANY of the original peoples of the American Continent including south and central America
Yes the guy is predomiately Native-American therefore he is of the Mongolian Racial group you can tell by his faint yellowish tinge in his dark brown complexion 😈!
Oscar--~yes from the Mongolian Race because their predomence they have is Native-American on the other hand I am 70% E therefore I am a White person😈!!!
I'm not surprised at the test results at all. When I took a look at them, my first thoughts were that she was about 55% Spanish and 40% Indian and that he was 70% Indian and 25% Spanish. I wasn't too far off
Jennifer is a typical Latin American: Mixed Spanish and Indigenous blood - with more European than she realizes. Then, the Spaniards themselves were already mixed with the Moors, who where North African, and Arab Middle Eastern. It is known that some Polynesians (Oceanians) reached the Americas long before the Europeans did, so that is a possible explanation - or just some random immigrant who somehow ended up in her country some two hundred years ago. The Spaniards colonized the Philippines and stopped in the Polynesian islands on the way, so that may be how her ancestor got on board.
Iberian = from the peninsula where Spain and Portugal are. Ashkenazi Jewish - Jews from Eastern Europe. Somehow a small percentage shows up very often in Latin America, and I don't know if there was an unknown XVII century immigration that mixed into the local Spanish population and did not keep the identity, unlike later Jewish immigrants. I know about my family's immigration, but that is in the late XIX century.
Another thing people don't understand about DNA screening in general, is that you can have a 1/2 Black, 1/2 White Mom & a 1/2 Chinese, 1/2 Arab Dad & you *ARE NOT* going to be 1/4 White, 1/4 Black, 1/4 East Asian 1/4Middle Eastern. You get 1/2 your DNA from each parent. But that *DOES NOT* mean you get it in equal portions. You might get 3/8 Black & only 1/8 White from Mom & 11/16 Arab but only 5/16 Chinese from Pops. It's not like dividing up penny candy when you were a kid. You could be my 100% blood Brother & our percentages could be different & I might get DNA that you don't have at all! I might get all the now & laters & you might get all the lemon heads. I doesn't work like that.
Perhaps the Ashkenazi Jewish result that Hispanics get is from the fact that Ashkenazim are related to Sephardic Jews and Arabs, who inhabited Spain for a long time. It's basically Middle Eastern DNA.
Sephardim, Mizrahim & Ashkenazim have different DNA. I don't test positive for "European Jewish". But I do test positive for North African/Middle Eastern. I'm Sephardi. Ashkenazi will test positive for European Jewish, maybe some Middle Eastern & also Central European.
@@LAVirgo67 Not really, I can definitely tell she has a lot of Native American in her. She has very light skin but I wouldn't consider her "White" looking.
20-30% 💀 if your father looks strongly Native then I'm guessing you're around the 55-60% range, about 5% African & the rest European. Similar results for the girl as well probably.
Kevin Clepps so? Humans are 100% African, 99.9% identical and 100% African derived [nat geo's Africans under the skin]. I just got my ancestry DNA results on June 2 2019. 47% native American 31% Spain 8% Italian 3%Portugal 2% France 3%Senegal 1% European Jewish 1% Ireland & Scotland 1% sardinia 1%Philippines 2% Benin/Togo My father from jalisco and mother from Michoacán, me myself a Mexican American born in L.A California,Mexicans are a multi cultural race very diverse.
I really want to get my DNA tested. I've been told that I look Asian, Indian, Middle Eastern, Italian, etc... Personally I think I look like an average Mexican, I don't understand why people don't just assume I'm Mexican in the first place.
I get that all the time too, particularly Indian. I have to tell them that no, I'm Mexican. Yet they tell me that there's no way I'm Mexican as my face somehow screams out Indian! I believe I could probably have some gypsy ancestry as gyspsies are a group of people that left India hundreds of years ago and made it into Spain and from there, to the New World. I have also gotten Middle Eastern a lot. Once a Hispanic lady warned her daughter and my mother not to get close to me as I could have a bomb. This was shortly after 9/11 I was only 9!
I thought from looking at them that he would be mostly Indian, and she would be mostly European. That's why I was surprised that they were surprised at their results.
In what way,....does wegene break down the Native American,....Can they at least distinguish where in North America or South America you Native American dna has it's origins,...or was found mostly commonly prior to European encroachment?
It gives more info on each region so for Native American it gives you Mayan, Native American, Inuit. For Asian, you will see the same thing, it gives slightly more detail compared to Ancestry such as Indian, Sindhi, Bengali or Cambodian, kinh, Thai. I think it's cool.
+RUTH HOLCOMBE Ok,...I'm uploaded my raw dna data to wegene and it came back Mayan. I somewhat expected this, seeing that dnaland identified it as Amazonian, and it is not uncommon to find Mayan and South American dna a midst Native Americans of the Southeast, especially among groups such as the Creeks, and also among some Cherokee subgroups. The Guale people of Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida were believed to be of partial Mayan stock, and several of the early Florida peoples such as the Timucua, Calusa, Tequesta, Mayaimi, Jeaga, and Ais were said to be migrants from the Caribbean and South America, I can imagine their genetic profiles were somewhat more similar to Central American natives than North American. This interest me, seeing that between 1670 to 1717 a plethora of Southeastern Native Americans were sold as slaves throughout the Southeast & the West Indies, creating a population of mix breed people called mestees (black & Native American) on U.S. southern plantations.
Very interesting, so much history to learn - I had no idea there were so many different tribes. It is nice knowing you are able to confirm your history in America and the fact that it goes so far back, your people have been in USA since the beginning xx
+RUTH HOLCOMBE Yeah,.....it's cool to be tri-continental,....Lol!!!!.....that being of Africa first and foremost, Europe, and North America(USA, Central America).
Por si os interesa yo soy catalana y tb tengo and sarda. Muchos catalanes inmigraron a México y Centroamérica.
DuckyDuck tengo italiano y sarda.
I thought the girl was from the Philippines/chinese!!! When she said my parents are from El Salvador I was like "NO WAY!!! I did not see that coming!" My parents are from El Salvador too but I look nothing like her! My family's surname is Italian though and my great grandparents where from the "whiter" regions of El Salvador with light skin/eyes, blonde hair etc., which explains a lot lol.
LMAO at all the videos of various people being shocked at their DNA results. Every video I've seen has people getting completely expectable results, based on what they look, and being totally shocked and surprised by it.
#GhostlightVideos #Chris # Jennifer you both need to go claim your Native American side by go claiming you some land on the Reservation!! If you can prove you are a bloodline of Native American they allow you to live on their land. Both my husband and I are Filipino (Pacific Islander) so when my son told me he was doing this he asked us what we knew if anything about our history. Although I was a Filipino and white (Mistesa) I knew our history was from the Philippines (Gapan Neuva Cija and as well as UK/Great Britain. As for my husband we knew he was from Cebu, Phillipines. So for the most part we knew he would be Pacific Islander and also from Spain as we knew some Filipino's have originated from the War with Lapu Lapu and Magellan. We also knew his grandfather's family was African American because they were slaves (Great Great Grandmother) and his Great Grandfather originated from Feasterville, South Carolina. Which is where they were slaves and purchased the land back hence the name Feaster. We also knew the came from New Finland. We also knew his Triple Great Grandmother was Creek Indian saw pictures of her with her tribe dressed head to toe in gear. We were a little shocked he showed more of his father's heritage than mine. Camaroon, Congo, Bantu People, Mali, Benin and Togo, Ivory Coast/Ghana, Northwestern Europe, (Finland) Portuguese (Spain) and China. We were shocked to see even 1% China, also showed not to see any Native American. 52% was Filipino. 13% was from Great Brittain/Whales this is from my side of the family. However...we all know genetics is a little wonky especially if your so many different nationalities. So my husband and I have 3 children together. Where my oldest son showed more Filipino in him my other son showed 49% Filipino and the other 40% was African American and then 10% Great Brittain/Whales and the 4% Native American. The rest was little here and there. Where as my daughter showed 12% African American 50% Filipino and just percentages I can't see right now. So you may share the same genetics from both parents you might have more of one parent than the other or some might not show up at all. Weird and tricky huh?
Middle East and jewish DNA could be from 600 years moors occupation of Spain-Portugal, many North African has also 1/3 Iberian, 1/3 Arab, 1/3 North/West Africa as the results of Moor occupation and inquisition in Spain
Endlessly repeating stereotypes. The Spaniards did not mix with the Moors. There are historical reason that explain this fact. But, it is better not to argue wirh ingorants. Look at the video. Look haplogroup Rb1, marked in red. It is the most important in Europe. Write down the % of the Spaniards. Also look at haplogroup Eb1b1, marked in light brown. It is Balkan, Middle East, North African. ALL EUROPEAN have it. Look a % of Spaniards. That is for the Phoenicians. It has nothing to do with the Moors or with your fantasies of ignorant. EUROPE, HAPLOGROUP by COUNTRY. th-cam.com/video/FeMt-R_2wPA/w-d-xo.html
CynthiaSantovena CynthiaSantovena yes I see...nice picture of him. A purebred Spaniard as you say... As for myself I’m a descendant of Mestizos & Genizaros of Taos, Mora New Mexico ...I do apologize if I led to believe I’m a purebred Spaniard...I’m just mixed like the rest of Mexicans/ Latinos
Iberian is Spain and Portugal and if you have Italian also understand Spain was part of Roman Empire at one time so there are some remains . It is important to understand Europe and old world migrations’ everywhere . That made each country of today what they are .
Before you criticize the guy in this video for thinking he'd have less native american DNA, remember that George Lopez (who looks 100% native american) is over 50% European, according to his DNA test results. So yeah, you never know!
They're silly, I liked this video. They had fun throughout & didn't take it as seriously life changing as other ppl DNA videos. Gotta say, I didn't see any African DNA showing up in either one. I knew Native American DNA would be there, I thought the girl would have at least 40%.
Spanish Conquistador means not just Southern Europe (including Italy, from the Romans in Spain) but also North African (Moors in Spain)...So, the Conquistador part is more than 50%
Like hello, Hispanics are all over the place. My husband is Mexican and he is 60% European, 25% Native American and the rest is a mixture Asian, African and a bunch of other things.
There were several waves of migrations that came to the Americas. some from Siberia and others from east asia. I'm quite sure some mixed and others remained isolated. I have a small percentage dna that my native American ancestor came from Siberia.
The spaniards really liked the Americas as their second home. That's the product of migration. The weather is similar to spain. Many of spaniards took the natives as their women so the end results are hybrid people. The guys in the video really look ibearians with little mix of others only that they have darker complexion.
The moment I saw Chris I thought he is Filipino-Aztec Mexican mix and his face wouldn't stand out here in the Philippines. In fact he even look more Asian than I am. I wonder why is he even surprised about his >60% Asian/Native American. He's handsome guy btw.
Gonna report all the nasty comments I read. Please decent and educated people join me in reporting these assholes that write racist stuff in the comment section with the comfort of internet anonimity.
i thought the guy was native american I think he looks the part, native americans are very beautiful people back in the day and they are still beautiful today. My great great great grandmother had some cherokee in her dna also, but unfortunately i did not recieve any. was very disappointed.. but that is the way it goes....
The % associated with the number of branches of generations before you is 1/2^n, where n=0,1,2,3,.... With n=2, this is two generations before you, i.e. your grandparents. Each represents, 1/2^2 = 1/4 or 25%. For n=3, this represents great^1 grandparents. You have 8 of these . Each contributes 1/2^3 = 1/8 or 12.5%. For n=4, this represents great^2 grandparents (great-great). You have 16 of these . Each contributes 1/2^4 = 1/16 or 6.3%. For n=5, this represents great^3 grandparents (great-great-great). You have 32 of these . Each contributes 1/2^5 = 1/32 or 3.1%. For n=6, this represents great^4 grandparents (great-great-great-great). You have 64 (!) of these . Each contributes 1/2^6 = 1/64 or 1.6%. Though most likely each ancestor is him of herself mixed, one way to think about it is if one is pure. So 2.1% Ashkenazi Jewish means that a great-great-great or great-great-great-great grandparent was 100% Ashkenazi Jewish. If only that one, by the time you are reached and no other Jewish blood is added, you end up with 1.6-3.1% Jewish blood. how long ago? Each generation is roughly 30 years plus or minus. So 2.1% Jewish means a pure Jewish ancestor entering your DNA ancestry 150-180 years ago. Of course, if ancestors are of mixed heritage and intermarried for several generations, you need to make the appropriate mathematical adjustments.
+twin two ~because it's fun to be white especially when traveling one gets a lot of compliments and seeing one's tan lines and our Caucasian facial features it's the standard of world beauty 😈
I am filipino At my dna ancestry are 72% south east Asian 17 % Iberian 4 % Polynesian 3% native American 2%western Europe 1.7% west african 0.3 % scandanivian
This is interesting. To me (I'm an Indonesian), both of you look like Southeast Asian (especially the Austronesian people such as Indonesian/Malaysian/The Philippines). I believe if you guys walking around on the street in Jakarta, only a few people would believe that you are not Indonesian, the majority would tell that you are Indonesian.
Sardinians are a very disntinctive dNA they were mainly isolated from the rest of Europe in the Neolithic era although anything less than 1% is technically “noise” it’s still something my breakdown in the European side was 35.7% Iberian 4.0 Southern European 0.2 Sardinian 1.2% British and Irish 0.1% Scandinavian Native American I got another 45% 23 and me was very in-depth!
What I like about 23andme compared to others is that they seem more honest. If they aren't sure about a specific ethnicity, they just point to a broader area, like Southern European. Other tests give you 2 or more different ethnicities, seems like too much guessing.
Ser Stormcrow i don't think so. I saw a lot of dna from spaniards and they didn't have any middle eastern dna. bereber and morrocan is more probably but I didn't see it. Maybe I from people from the south of Spain take it would be more results. Also nothing of Jews. I took myself DNA test (I'm from Spain) I'm 100% European. I was expecting DNA from other places based on what people say but it was not true. My both parents are from the north of Spain. Maybe is these areas there was no mixture with moors.
Did yall catch, the part when she says I dont want to be like 99.9 Native American but she has no problem having the blood of conquistadors who killed her native ancestors.
I'd sit alone and watch your light My only friend through teenage nights And everything I had to know I heard it on my radio You gave them all those old time stars Through wars of worlds invaded by Mars You've made 'em laugh, you've made 'em cry You made us feel like we could fly So don't become some background noise A backdrop for the girls and boys Who just don't know or just don't care And just complain when you're not there You've had your time, you've had the power You've yet to have your finest hour Radio
I consider myself Mexican but people say I look white my parents both have pale skin my dad has black hair and brown eyes. my mom has brown hair and hazel greenish eyes and I also have pale skin and hazel greenish eyes along with brown hair i haven’t took ancestry dna or 23 and me not sure what to expect when I do. The rest of my family looks really white and not Native at all except for my grandfather who looks mixed white and Native American the rest of my family look really white
You do realize Mexican is a nationality not a race, right? And those people you had encountered are probably unaware of the outside world of higher chances.
these are the dna results for the majority of most hispanics who do the test .. we are a mix of everything, mine were similar to use the percentages were different but regions were almost the same
for the young man East Asia is linked with his Native American this most likely means that the Native Americans were the Eastern Asians that came across the Russian - Alaskan land bridge. In the US the Navajo also related to this hapla group. He must remember he carries more of his dad's Y than his moms mitochondrial DNA for the young woman, Azk Jews inhabited Iberia. There is also new evidence that Egyptians migrated to Iberia from Northern Africa.

@sneksnekitsasnek I’ve talked about the Phoenicians. The Carthaginians were Phoenicians. I have not mentioned the Jews because they have been inbreeding throughout their history. There is a minimal Sephardic percentage in Spain through the converted Jews. That doesn’t mean that all Spaniards have Jewish genes.
@sneksnekitsasnek If you ask, what did the Jews have to protect themselves from?, it's because you know very little about history... in that case, I'll skip this talk. I don't feel like giving a long explanation
@Patty 7373 Mexico was New Spain, and the Philippines was administered from Mexico City. Its currency was minted in Mexico City as well. The Spanish founded the first university in Asia, Santo Tomas circa 1630. The oldest university in Japan and China was established in the 1890's, and the oldest university in Russia was established in 1725 in St. Petersburg.
lol if you had that high of a native percentage then your dad must be in the 80-90% range which is extremely high for a Mexican. what part of Mexico was he from?
@@emilykathleenn Like mexicans dont't look native... Half of Guatemala's population is mixed but they don't migrate as much as the Mayas. Yes, Ricardo Arjona looks like King Pacal😂😂🤣🤣🤣
The boy looks more than 90% indian and 5% Spanish and probably around 5% African. The girl the same. I thought the girl was your sister. I think she is 15-20% Spanish and 80% indian.
I am a little disturbed about how hispanics who look mixed with white and Native American in these videos are either somewhat upset or very upset about being European while black African ancestry is celebrated. I fully understand why hispanics would want to be mostly Native American as opposed to the other two, but between the other two, white ancestry is much more common than black unless you are an actual black person from Latin America. Why is white ancestry so shocking considering the history and why is black ancestry celebrated more even though it is more of an oddity in hispanics who look like a mixture of white and Native American?
the more reason why Latin America needs to drop Spanish as the official language ! and replace it with whatever the native language was before Spain came in!!
His features are not fully caucasoid, skin tone has nothing to do with it
My skin is so white people often think I'm Italian or Spanish.
Why is the guy shocked that he's 65% native american when he looks like a native american?
Fr Cluc I would hate to look very native american
@@mattc236, I'm sure that many people hate their own appearances, or some aspects of it. But being in denial at this guy's level is quite mental. It's as if a black person gets shocked to find out his/her DNA ancestry is mainly African. I mean, come on!

And the new data confirm that about 8500 years ago, early hunter-gatherers in Spain, Luxembourg, and Hungary also had darker skin: They lacked versions of two genes-SLC24A5 and SLC45A2-that lead to depigmentation and, therefore, pale skin in Europeans today."

Iberia is Spain and Portugal together
That was Hispania or España. Iberia was the limit of the world for the ancient Greeks It was the coast of Spain and also a Kingdom (302 BC-580 AD) in Georgia in the Caucasus. Spain was named by the Phoenicians and their colony Carthage. The Romans took the name. Iberia word is used wrongfully as Hispania (also in Spain).

Hispania ( now Spain ) was the name of province of the Roman Empire.
They were born in Spain?

Rafael Rabinovich OH ! I SEE !!!

Cool to see more native american results, I can recommend uploading your raw DNA to Wegene which breaks down the asian & n american more 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
In what way,....does wegene break down the Native American,....Can they at least distinguish where in North America or South America you Native American dna has it's origins,...or was found mostly commonly prior to European encroachment?

Yes, there are documented migrations from the east that is why native americans have different lineages/ancestry ethnicities.

My black card? Some one slap that fruit

Why are your people so happy to be European
+twin two ~because it's fun to be white especially when traveling one gets a lot of compliments and seeing one's tan lines and our Caucasian facial features it's the standard of world beauty 😈
+Fernando Gonzalez ~correct ! This Chris is Native-American
@@misfitpain3249 yet you look part black 😂😂
I am filipino
At my dna ancestry are
72% south east Asian
17 % Iberian
4 % Polynesian
3% native American
2%western Europe
1.7% west african
0.3 % scandanivian
What African.
I'm still shocked at the level of ignorance most people display today!
This is interesting. To me (I'm an Indonesian), both of you look like Southeast Asian (especially the Austronesian people such as Indonesian/Malaysian/The Philippines). I believe if you guys walking around on the street in Jakarta, only a few people would believe that you are not Indonesian, the majority would tell that you are Indonesian.
bung coba Jennifer Does look a bit Indonesian...But if Yu watch the video she thinks she's White
Jennifer definitely doesn't look full Indonesian. Chris could pass more but still on the exotic side.
Sardinians are a very disntinctive dNA they were mainly isolated from the rest of Europe in the Neolithic era although anything less than 1% is technically “noise” it’s still something my breakdown in the European side was
35.7% Iberian
4.0 Southern European
0.2 Sardinian
1.2% British and Irish
0.1% Scandinavian
Native American I got another 45%
23 and me was very in-depth!
What I like about 23andme compared to others is that they seem more honest. If they aren't sure about a specific ethnicity, they just point to a broader area, like Southern European. Other tests give you 2 or more different ethnicities, seems like too much guessing.
Have you heard of any company that can give a better resolution for Latino??? I am disappointed from my ancestry and 23&me report
Hi
Most Hispanics have some ancestry Arabs,Jews and Berbers
Probably from the Spanish. I bet most Spanish have it as well.
And Visigoths from Scandinavia ( Gothland ), Romans from Italy, Greeks...
Maybe is these areas there was no mixture with moors.
canary island berbers and spanish nix and them came to the west indies
The spanish people have ascestry originary of iberia , you can see it in the dna test of they ( my English is some bad )
Did yall catch, the part when she says I dont want to be like 99.9 Native American but she has no problem having the blood of conquistadors who killed her native ancestors.
Lovely results... you guys are gorgeous people... thanks for sharing your results....
Felecia Wallace They both look like White Scandinavians
Guys...screenshots help a shit ton. Seriously.
Great video!!! whats your haplogroup?
I'd sit alone and watch your light
My only friend through teenage nights
And everything I had to know
I heard it on my radio
You gave them all those old time stars
Through wars of worlds invaded by Mars
You've made 'em laugh, you've made 'em cry
You made us feel like we could fly
So don't become some background noise
A backdrop for the girls and boys
Who just don't know or just don't care
And just complain when you're not there
You've had your time, you've had the power
You've yet to have your finest hour

I consider myself Mexican but people say I look white my parents both have pale skin my dad has black hair and brown eyes. my mom has brown hair and hazel greenish eyes and I also have pale skin and hazel greenish eyes along with brown hair i haven’t took ancestry dna or 23 and me not sure what to expect when I do. The rest of my family looks really white and not Native at all except for my grandfather who looks mixed white and Native American the rest of my family look really white
Adrian Alcala your Family from Sonora or Chihuahua? They have a lot of White People there
You do realize Mexican is a nationality not a race, right? And those people you had encountered are probably unaware of the outside world of higher chances.
these are the dna results for the majority of most hispanics who do the test .. we are a mix of everything, mine were similar to use the percentages were different but regions were almost the same
it pisses me off when my fellow latinos so badly want to be white. eres bello/a como eres y ya!
I want to be more white
for the young man East Asia is linked with his Native American this most likely means that the Native Americans were the Eastern Asians that came across the Russian - Alaskan land bridge. In the US the Navajo also related to this hapla group. He must remember he carries more of his dad's Y than his moms mitochondrial DNA for the young woman, Azk Jews inhabited Iberia. There is also new evidence that Egyptians migrated to Iberia from Northern Africa.
Chris your Southeast Asian DNA must be from the Filipinos who settled in Mexico and South USA during the Spanish times.
Who has Iberian DNA will most likely share Middle Eastern / North African DNA: Spain and Portgual belonged for centuries to the Arabian World
Endlessly repeating stereotypes.
The Spaniards did not mix with the Moors.
There are historical reason that explain this fact.
But, it is better not to argue wirh ingorants.
Look at the video.
Look haplogroup Rb1, marked in red.
It is the most important in Europe. Write down the % of the Spaniards.
Also look at haplogroup
Eb1b1, marked in light brown.

@sneksnekitsasnek
I’ve talked about the Phoenicians.
The Carthaginians were Phoenicians.
I have not mentioned the Jews because they have been inbreeding throughout their history.
There is a minimal Sephardic percentage in Spain through the converted Jews. That doesn’t mean that all Spaniards have Jewish genes.
@sneksnekitsasnek
Now they do.
Not in the past.
Inbreendig was a way for them protect themselves.
@sneksnekitsasnek
If you ask, what did the Jews have to protect themselves from?, it's because you know very little about history... in that case, I'll skip this talk. I don't feel like giving a long explanation
they have an agenda....but they do not understand that one is what one is....not what one wants to be....
Deckie Deckie Jennifer is white
The Philippines was ruled from Mexico, and both Mexico and Philippines have each other's population during the Spanish colonial period.
Petersburg.
Jennifer honestly looks like a beautiful Filipina mestiza. I think I have a crush on her now.
x2
She's whiter obviously
Give us an updated result please
lol if you had that high of a native percentage then your dad must be in the 80-90% range which is extremely high for a Mexican. what part of Mexico was he from?
Yeah he looks really native is his dad Guatemalan cus they look totally native!
Bullshit! 24% of Mexico is 100% Native American. 66% are mixed and 10% are white.
@@emilykathleenn Like mexicans dont't look native... Half of Guatemala's population is mixed but they don't migrate as much as the Mayas. Yes, Ricardo Arjona looks like King Pacal😂😂🤣🤣🤣

i'm from Sardinia!!
So which laptop is better the Toshiba or Lenovo?
I've owned both. Lenovo for sure. Toshiba is trash.

Wondering why he said African American lol
Bruh! Its driving me crazy lmao
What were your maternal and paternal haplogroups?
The boy looks more than 90% indian and 5% Spanish and probably around 5% African. The girl the same. I thought the girl was your sister. I think she is 15-20% Spanish and 80% indian.

Weird how people in these videos never know what "Oceanic" means.
New caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Native Australians
Gotta love how these people racialize the ethnicities, but when it comes to Sub-Saharan African, Native, etc they don't.
Why is white ancestry so shocking considering the history and why is black ancestry celebrated more even though it is more of an oddity in hispanics who look like a mixture of white and Native American?
don't generalize.
@amelali that's a ridiculous claim. millions of europeans emigrated to latin america long after the colonial era was over.
@amelali no, those aren't the same, and no, not all migrants were colonizers.
you gotta be joking. I realized their disapointed face when they found African percentage
The girl was so happy she was white 🤣

@@mattc236 no way every Spanish has a brack ancestor, sad story
I enjoyed watching this! Thanks for sharing.
So much fun watching your video.
Btw: Chris I can see you and I going out on a date. 😍
