how do you go about convincing a restaurant to switch their current reservation system though? love the automation and think it could be very helpful and useful for restaurants but convincing them to switch might be kinda hard

Love the video dude, lots of valuable information. Just have a question about pricing, how would you price a chatbot like this? Would you do a one time flat fee, or a monthly rate? Also how would you determine what that rate would be?
Thank you! For this chatbot, I would charge about $2.5k set-up + 500/ month retainer depending on the size and budget of the restaurant. I typically price my bots based on the value it brings to the company in money and time saved, as well as potential revenue. I always try to deliver 2-3x returns on the client's investment.
Of course, this means some businesses are not a good fit for these services because they are too small, don't get a lot of traffic or don't have much room for optimization.

Nice job! You've got covered things that normaly we dont see. But I'm confused on why you used GPT 3.5 for the timestamp... Also, I did the same as you, but could not get the dates right. It's always booking when the message is sent, not the time I asked for. When use Preview for DateTime variable, it works just fine, but the bot are not able to do so...
I'm pretty sure you should use Claude 2.0 or Instant 1.2, that should fix your problem!

I guess I have the just of the front end but how would I make it so the waiter/owner does not have to then go through a spreadsheet and still manually put in the orders.

Hi need help. API gives 200 ok response which ok. But when i run it with voiceflow as you have set up

Amazing tutorial! I have done all the steps and I can see the booking is working but, the date and time is starting from 1st Jan 2023.
So the bookings are made referring to the starting of the year 2023 not according to the current times. Help me if I am making a silly mistake or its the error.

I have a question, how will AI find the restaurant?
Like I want to book ABC restaurant on the 3rd January at 04:00?
Is this possible?
How would we go about checking if there are available tables for that time? Or could we get the user to first give a date and then it would list available hours?
You can use the ResOs API "get availability" method once the customer suggests a date, then they can respond with a time

What do you think of solely using stack ai and fully leveraging conversational flow with gpt?
Stack AI does not allow for intuitive conversational flow, like Voiceflow does. Also, the UI for Voiceflow is better for customers, but you can get the same conversational flow using the Stack AI API.
Maybe do a more indepth course and sale it here?
