I'm a little late finding your channel since it's now fall of 2024, but I was so glad to find it! I'm an independent 69 year young lady with a beautiful old rocker similar to the one you so beautifully restored. I've been meaning to try to repair it myself, but after watching you, I know I'm out of my league. So if I can find a craftsman near me here in Southern California, I'll get a quote. 🤞 But your video showed me what it's going to take to make it whole again! I'm all about restoring, re-using, and rehoming. My stove, (which has been restored) and I share a birth year. And so far we're working just fine!! But seriously, I want to send my condolences to the brave citizens of N.C. and pray for a full restoration of your beautiful state!! And also, your tools in the background are not a distraction at all! 😉
