I don't think I explained it well in the video because I've received a couple comments about this, but for anyone unaware: the field from SANDLOT is NOT really a baseball field. They setup a dugout and backstop for an anniversary event. It is actually private property that is normally inaccessible to the public and overgrown with weeds which is why I use the term "ACCESS" and "RARE FIELD TOUR."
This is awesome! We just got back from Utah , we ran into a guy who was a camera man for the movie and mentioned the actual sandlot was not too far. We drove there and and obviously found out it was private property and couldn’t get any decent pictures of the field. Thank you for the awesome job done on this video.👍
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video! It is disappointing when you find out how inaccessible the sandlot normally is. I found out last minute about the anniversary event, but booked a ticket straight away!
This is one of the most detailed & well produced things I’ve ever seen. As a content creator/videographer, I know the editing time on this video took mad diligence! WELL DONE!!!
Great video! I grew up in SLC so I’ve been to many of these locations. My dad is actually friends with the people who own Smalls house so I’ve been a couple times.
my sister wasnt a sports nut growing up.. she played softball for a few years but she was the family musician/artist. i am 10 years older then her. well growing up she was obsessed with The sandlot! between this and finding nemo i probably watched both movies in its entirety close to a hundred times! those were the days! i havent watched it since i was 15 ish. its time for a rewatch
Always a great time to rewatch the Sandlot! I got annoyed with Finding Nemo back when it came out because it seemed like every school, campground, or pool hosting a movie night would show it (Plus, my brother was at the age where he just watched the same movies REPEATEDLY and Finding Nemo was one of them). It's so good though. Thomas Newman's music makes that movie!
Man..... you do an incredible job matching up the shots. Probably the best on youtube. Also, love the aerial shots and mapping. Great editing as well. Hope the channel takes off.
Absolutely best movie location video ever! I have watched hundreds of video and your production quality and just easy laid back way of explaining each location is great! Definitely subbed and gonna check out your others as u have covered some of my favorite movies. Keep it up man!!!
This is an extremely rare video of the Sandlot. There is not one video on TH-cam or anywhere that has a on field video of the Sandlot. Lucky to you. Great job on the video of the locations! Also, you did a great job on lining up the exact spots. I really in enjoy seeing shots comparison from the movie and today. Your channel will blow up in no time. Thank you for sharing.
I have to applaud you on an amazing video 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 The Sandlot is my favorite movie and I’ve never seen such an in-depth breakdown of the various locations. Great job! Also, such a bummer Mike Vitar never goes to the anniversary events, always wondered why.
@@GoingtotheMoviesthe level of detail you put in these is always astounding! From the matching shot layovers, to the editing, it was good dude! Can’t believe you stood in lines for 7 hours to get those autographs!

Loved the video man! If you ever liked Stand by Me, the town Brownsville, Oregon and various other spots were filmed not far from me. Would love to see your take on it.
I love this video thank you. Do you know the name and address of the antique shop that was nearby the shooting location of the sandlot that commemorated the film?
well fucking done sir. i must have watched dozens of sandlot videos. nobody else was nearly this thorough. clearly a lot of fucking research. not many films bring back that feeling of childhood and summer. ur video did that. smoke weed every day!
